I am not a young woman, a liberal, a rich person or a class hater, nor am I sympathetic to lawbreakers, and don't care about Paris Hilton--NORMALLY--however, I feel VERY SORRY for her right now and believe that she MAY BE dead within a month--a bit like Anna Nicole--THEN will the ghoulish press and people like Al Sharpton be content? To me, she seems like a fragile young woman who hasn't committed a crime warranting such savage hatred by so many people who don't know her. It is frightening and revolting to witness this spectacle. I'm also disappointed by the snark, Michelle.

Al Sharpton is a joke and we all know that. I don't have anything personal against Ms. Hilton either. If she doesn't have to work, good for her! LOL. The vicious remarks by Silverman @ the MTV event (saw it on O'Reilly) were over the top. That said, I think the sentence is pretty fair and she should have to do some community service too. Maybe clean up a park or something.

OMG SHEP HOLD IT TOGETHER! I love that guy.
 
As for whats-her-face, my buddy just spent 3 months in jail for the same thing and a guy on my hockey team lost his license and was on 6 months house arrest for something similar, so I have no sympathy.
 
Also, I'm watching Nicole Ritchie on Conan and she looks like a [@$#!] corpse. These people are all insane.

Sharpton may have a point on this one but where was he when Michelle Williams, who was used as an example over and over again, got out after a few hours. I guess there is only outrage when a white person gets out early. Williams AND Hilton should both serve the full sentence! I must ask Sharpton this....If Hilton was black, would he be making such a fuss?
 
I am pretty sure we all know the answer.
