Can anyone else see through this? Why do we need this "reporter" here telling us what to think by labeling these protesters? WTF. I mean, sure it's his show... and sure it's an opinion show... but opinion has no place on an opinion show. ...especially if we don't agree with it. /sarcasm September 9, 2007, 9:05:00 AM EDT – Like – Reply ALeff Yeah... it's almost like people have a right to peaceful demonstration... and they think they're allowed to do it in public?! I mean, sure it's a public street... and sure they have every right to do what they're doing... but rights have no place in America, especially if they're used for dissent. /sad truth September 9, 2007, 10:40:04 AM EDT – Like – Reply V I know what would cut back on protests like that.. Take Geraldo and his show off the air permanently. I distrust him so much that it wouldn't suprise me if he has something to do with it.. His ratings stink and so does his show and "expert opinions." If he said that the dark sky was looking ominous, would that be forcing his opinion on the public? The truthers/anarchists are freaks. We don't need Geraldo to reveal that little nugget of truth. Or do we Charles, Nick, ALeff, and V? September 9, 2007, 12:27:55 PM EDT – Like – Reply cm I love Geraldo and I don't think he claims to be independent. He always says whatever the [expletive deleted] he wants. It's his show! Edited By Siteowner September 9, 2007, 12:28:22 PM EDT – Like – Reply James Quick comment: I have the link to your video on YouTube, and I've watched it many times. However, if you try to use the YouTube search to find it, by any of the words in the title, it doesn't appear in the results. You may want to contact them to see why a basic search for your Geraldo video is unsuccessful. This is important because if people try to look it up via YouTube, they can't! I've already had to forward the link a couple of times; the search doesn't work! Try for yourself. Anyway, this whole thing was orchestrated by Bushco in order to get Jones away secretly while the CIA gave him his new orders. Everybody knows that Jones is an agent. Cointelpro and all that. You're completely missing the point. They could've been demonstrating for absolutely anything. And "peaceful" does not mean quiet, it means nonviolent. Arrests during nonviolent public demonstrations -FOR ANYTHING- are completely un-American and this should disgust everyone. September 9, 2007, 1:07:32 PM EDT – Like – Reply V I believe in the First Amendment of the Constitution, but I think Geraldo over the years shows he can stoop to the lowest form of vermin just for sensationalism and his ego. September 9, 2007, 1:28:00 PM EDT – Like – Reply Fox Fan Am I missing the point ALeff? In the clip Geraldo clearly stated that the protesters needed a permit to hold a demonstration in New York. It didn't matter if they were violent or not. If you don't like the law, work to change it. It exists to bridge the gap between free speech and public nuisance. September 9, 2007, 2:27:36 PM EDT – Like – Reply ALeff They were denied a permit when they requested one. And technically, any law in violation of the Constitution is null and void, so any law requiring a permit to practice 1st Amendment rights is unenforcable (by that I mean if you're arrested for it, you can easily take it to court and get it overturned for being unconstitutional). That's my shpeal on this topic, so long. September 9, 2007, 5:18:41 PM EDT – Like – Reply johnny dollar There's some real spinning going on here. According to the people who organized the demonstration, they didn't even KNOW Geraldo was doing an outdoor show until it was well underway. When they learned it, they went TO Fox HQ and started shouting. Maybe they applied for a permit ahead of time, but it wasn't a permit to stand in front of Fox HQ and shout during a live broadcast. Their protest schedule was published in advance and it did NOT take them to Fox HQ. So even if they HAD a permit, they did NOT have a permit to protest at the scene of Geraldo's show. As I said, the permit business is just spinning. September 9, 2007, 5:29:43 PM EDT – Like – Reply Rudy Fox They were mad because they know Geraldo hates punks. If the shoe fits... September 9, 2007, 9:26:51 PM EDT – Like – Reply FaHQ he wasnt making fun of the because they where a bunch of 911 thruthers, or because they where protesting... its obvious he was upset that they where disrupting his show and not letting him conduct it as it should have been... life is a lot simpler than many people paint it out to be... a little common sense goes a long way...
