Of anyone on the cable news scene, Getra probably would make the best friend.

I’ve got a Ward Churchill autograph I’m looking to sell.

    • Grandpa D

      Bill O’Reilly might be interested.

    • Nixon – niihpikiiookani

Ward Churchill’s books are only good for toilet paper. One of my favorite pastimes is to go to Half Price Books and demand his books be removed from the Native section. I haven’t seen one there in quite a while. I guess that they got the point.

I like to point out the phonyness of people like him and Warren.

With the new Quinnipiac poll RCP (and presumably Fox News) now have five polls to average since mid July.

Looks like Kasich and Christie might make the Top 10 after all — with Governor Perry being the odd man out.

Hard to tell how many other pollsters will file new polling results by 5:00 pm EDT on August 5th.

    • Larry Kelly

kasich jumped up faster than I would have guessed. Polling well in New Hampshire.

      • Michael T

Indeed he did — presumably much to the delight of our ‘buddy’ Joe Concha, who, as you probably know, is on record for predicting Kasich to be the nominee.

        • Larry Kelly

I don’t want to lose my governor.

    • Lurker

Everyone supporting Trump should drop him & support Walker or Kasich

Trump’s numbers vs Hillary is not making me confident!

    • Scott Mohr

It doesn’t matter about a top 10 anymore. It was reported Wednesday Fox changed it again and said ALL of those running will be on stage for the first debate. So the poll numbers are meaningless now.

      • Michael T

ALL of those running will be on stage for the first debate.

Did you mean debates — one at 5:00 and the Top 10 debate at 9:00?

The report you mentioned referred to the first (or 5 pm) debate only, which will now allow those with less than 1% in the polls to participate.

        • Scott Mohr

That’s what I stated in my post. “Will be on stage for the first debate.”

          • Michael T

            Still not following you.

Why did you assume “the poll numbers are meaningless” when it’s quite the opposite?

Perhaps another commenter can chime in and explain what you mean. I’m baffled.

That was a great TBT Shep clip. Thank you for posting .
I actually remember that clip…lol. I do love Shep having a Rant :)

    • Larry Kelly

I dare not drink a Coke while watching Shep for fear it will shoot out my nose.

  • sky303

Don’t worry Toure’ , you can have a show on youtube talking about 9/11 conspiracies like others do on the internet .

Coming up tonight on MSNBC – Rachel Maddow will try to figure out the difference between a part of her anatomy and a hole in the ground.

    • GATXER

I watched part of her show last night……she said something like Fox is effective ending the campaigns of the people who don’t make the cut…….how dumb are her viewers…I mean like twitter stooges dumb or what…….its a long way till the first vote is taken and its the very first debate…..and CNN doing the same thing. How dumb would someone be who dropped out now because the didn’t make a debate this far out.

I’ve been watching a lot Of MSNBC and CNN in the last few weeks……….if Fox treated Liberals like they treat Cons……the twitter stooges head would explode.

  • Race baiter/Fox hater joint fodder: O’Reilly used the phrase “you people in Washington”–as in “Are you people in Washington going to respect the law or not?”–one sentence after referring to President Obama and Attorney General Lynch. You know what’s going to be leveled at Bill for the first two words of that phrase.

    • Another topic found its way into the Next Week Triangle at the end of Weekdays with Bernie. If Bill says a topic that there wasn’t time for will be saved for next week, chances are it will never see the light of day.

    • Nixon – niihpikiiookani

It wasn’t until a few years ago that I was aware that “you people” could conceivably have a racial connotation. Actually, it still doesn’t.

      • So far, luckily, I’m wrong. Not a single left-leaning tweet or web post has been devoted to what Bill said.

        • But the usual sources are going after him for allegedly comparing Black Lives Matter to the Gestapo. Which is of course a simplistic and inflammatory paraphrase of what he said, but that’s the way Fox haters roll.

          • Are they going after him for directing the Word of the Day at Black Lives Matter? In other words, are they claiming he was implying that African-Americans are stupid and won’t know what the word means?

          • I haven’t seen that. They’ve been focusing on the segment with Jehmu.

          • Oh. I skipped most of the segment, so I missed the comparison.

Griffin: “Ed Schultz, Krystal Ball, Abby Huntsman and Toure will be leaving MSNBC. Please join me in thanking them for their numerous contributions over the past several years, and in wishing them great success.”
Cardboad box for belongings, security escort out the door on their way to great success.

    • Lurker

Krystal Ball will probably try & get a gig with FOX News

Don’t know if Roger Ailes is interested but since she’s pretty he might be =P

      • Oy. I hope that doesn’t happen. Although it would be amusing to see the people who’ve been praising her as a wonderful person and a fine pundit do the inevitable about face to claim she’s a talentless bimbette. Which would happen almost instantaneously.

        • Nixon – niihpikiiookani

It would happen faster than you could say “Beetlejuice.”

        • Larry Kelly

Well, she really isn’t that nice, after all.
