  • Friday’s numbers: Bill O’Reilly-Anderson Cooper-Sean Hannity 1-2-3.
  • Outnumbered videos: Judge Napolitano joins the debate
  • Fox & Friends video:  Meet friend George, and hubby Jeff.
  • Concha: Comcast/NBC, now AT&T/CNN…is the regulatory system ‘rigged’?
  • AT&T promises CNN will remain independent.   TCG: Rather contradictory.
  • Video: on Chris Wallace, Al Smith, etc.  Today’s Wemple O’Whine.
  • Press freedom group wants James Rosen case files unsealed.   Olby resurfaces.
  • Wilmouth: MSNBC ‘comedian‘ describes Fox News as ‘too lazy to join the Klan’.
  • Nixon – niihpikiiookani

Dean Obeidallah is the same racist swine who joined Melissa Hariss-Perry in making fun of Mitt Romney’s adopted black grandson. A comedian? He’s about as funny as a kidney stone.

  • Larry Kelly

Last MSNBC comedian was Martin Bashir. You would have thought the miserable outfit would have learned something after he left a bad taste in their mouth.

  • Larry Kelly

    Olby resurfaces.

Closed the toilet lid in the nick of time.

  • I choose not to read “Olby resurfaces.” I assume it’s a glowing profile.

    • gcblues

NYTs, i read it for you. you missed nothing. nothing from nothing=nothing.

      • Larry Kelly

Thank you for your service. I didn’t read it either.

    • Cecelia

Some vintage Trump in this piece.

After Olbermann sold his place in the Trump Tower as a publicity stunt and tribal gesture, Trump released a statement calling Keith a failed broadcaster, and went on to say that everyone in the building hated him.

  • Hours after Dan Rather appeared on Reliable Sources, he was guest starring in an episode of The Simpsons. He was with Kent Brockman in a former news anchor support group. His dialogue was chock of full of Ratherisms (folksy metaphors). Unfortunately, the episode, written by Harry Shearer, contained two digs at Fox News. One of those had Kent admitting to watching Bill O’Reilly to see an older, stupider version of himself.

T is looking for one thing and one thing only. sustainable earnings. while CNN is a loser with declining cable p/household revenue, CNN international and Español are cash cows. the pay per hookup cable game is getting tougher and meaner as cable is replaced faster than new hookups. international cable has far more remaining upside than the euro/US. one day it won’t be there and there has been no solution to news on the net revenue for the bigs or the local papers or electronic. T is trying to cover every base. since no one knows where the stratification of info/com/ is going to land on, what T has to say about CNN being independent is simply empty words. down almost 2 % more today the div yield is higher. downgrades mixed with upgrades signifies no one knows what will happen so T will continue to pay you to sit on their stock. other than that, no one knows nothing, yet if you click financial news you can see 1,000 stories on T. in fact T’s decline is named as the cause of the market rising today. yoga rhetoric.

    • gcblues

how about the T div yield?

  • Apparently Mr Erik Wemple disapproves of my linking to his posts targeting O’Reilly using the shorthand phrase Wemple’s O’Whine. What do you all think? Does he have a point? Should I be more respectful? Less filling? Er, I mean less flippant? Does “today’s Wemple O’Whine” pretty much sum it up for you? Or is this really much ado about next to nothing?

    • gcblues

if he wants respect tell him to start acting respectable.

    • Cecelia

      Wemple is whining about “O’Whine”?

      waaaahhhwaaahhh…

      • I don’t talk about this usually because I’m an extraordinarily modest fellow, but I get sent things by all the cable news channels (and even some channels that don’t qualify for our subject matter here). This is because they know a link at J$P will get a healthy chunk of visits to the article in question. What’s more, a link here magically becomes a link on up to a half-dozen other news sites, right down to the special characters I insert in the link so I can track who else uses it. So that’s a lot of eyeballs for whatever they are promoting or wish to publicize. If I were Mr Wemple I wouldn’t whine about the wording of a link if it brings people in to read what he wrote. Gift horse, mouth, etc. But that’s just my opinion; I could be wrong.

        • Cecelia

Wrong? Wemple’s no winner by wallowing in woe and wrangling over wordings.

          • Maybe I can change it to O’Wine. A distinctive new bubbly from the Factor Vineyards.

          • Cecelia

            More like vinegar.

          • gcblues

with a snap of the fingers i can give you tune to parody. cray’s old “Move a mountain” comes quickly to mind,
“You used to move the mountains, baby
But now you just don’t move me”

maybe not. his job description is pretty thin.

        • gcblues

          are you omitting your remittance?

    • I have no problem with your phrasing.

    • Nixon – niihpikiiookani

Wemple is the type who can dish out sarcasm, but can’t take it himself. And, yes, he whines about O’Reilly and Fox constantly.

    • Larry Kelly

I still get Mr. Wemple confused with the guy who couldn’t stop squeezing the Charmin, except one is butt hurt and one is not.

    • homemaker

Do we need yo send him boxes of Kleenex? Big, whiny baby!

    • timdub70

Name and town, name and town, if you wish to O’Whine.

  • gcblues

Wilmouth: MSNBC ‘comedian‘ describes Fox News as ‘too lazy to join the Klan’.
so in addition to be being untrue it must be intentionally malicious and said solely to inflict pain on the target of defamation.
yet experience would show this thrown out court on the grounds of ?????????????????

    • Cecelia

A comedian too lazy to get a sense of humor.

  • Nixon – niihpikiiookani

Hillary Clinton’s entire goal in life has been to be president. Were Trump somehow to win, I seriously doubt that she will be alive in two years. I don’t think her health could handle the loss.

    • homemaker

Snark alert: we can only hope. I am now a believer in hope and change.

      • gcblues

snicker. we are following the presidential trend. bad. worse. worser. putrid. oh what a time to be alive, young and full of despair.

      • Nixon – niihpikiiookani

I lost hope long ago. The only thing that keeps me going is faith.

        • gcblues

there are plenty of beautiful things on earth to enjoy, or to just putter around comfortable and warm. it is sad that primarily tawdry is what we have, and if we are honest, we seem to enjoy wading in it despite our protestations and confessions.

          • Nixon – niihpikiiookani

I like to go over and sit on the bank of the Mississinewa River. It seems to recharge me so that I can handle whatever horsesh*t that life throws at me.

          • gcblues

nix, i don’t think i will live long enough to learn how to pronounce that river….lol/

          • Nixon – niihpikiiookani

            It’s easy: MISS-ISS-SIN-UH-WA.

          • gcblues

man i am struggling to learn every pre-98 robt cray tune i can before i flop. after sweet potato pie i know fewer and fewer on each album.

Premiums will go up an average of 25 percent next year under President Obama’s health care law, and many consumers will be down to just one insurer, the administration confirms to the Associated Press.

Take a victory lap, President Doufus.

      All as planned.

It will be interesting to see if Megyn’s numbers jump back up and Hannity’s fall post election.
