  • Late with Friday links post because of a two-hour internet outage. Tried to complete post on my phone but it was a waste of effort (and data usage). Sorry about that.

  • Larry Kelly

Good lighting of someone mooning would identify the thing dead center as Jeffrey Toobin.

“(Mika) Brzezinski said Conway was obviously lying to CNN’s hosts when she said that the investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia had “nothing to do” with FBI Director James Comey’s firing on Tuesday.”

If this is true then Mika should provide proof, otherwise Mika is just spewing to quote her “politics porn” to get a “little ratings crack”.

    • Michael T

      Fair point.

The credibility-challenged Mika could be correct — but you are justified in raising the lack of proof argument.

“(Keith Olbermann) went from having his own nightly news show to recording a podcast from behind an Ikea table in the GQ break room.”

LOL, ROFL, and whatever those kids today are saying for very funny.

Very interesting that O’reilly did not seem to understand the severity of the situation. He was surprised that he was terminated. I wish Beck would have asked Bill if it was a mistake to take vacation in the middle of all the controversy.

If O’reilly was innocent he should have fought the accusations and not settled. Like Trump said on the campaign trail……..once you get a reputation for settling rather than fighting, people will come out of the woodwork to extract money.

It sounded like O’reilly is planning legal action against Soros backed groups that he thinks brought him down. It may be too little to late to start fighting back. He may just be wasting money on lawyers at this point.

But it was nostalgic to once again hear the “Bold and Fresh” duo.

    • LenInFlux

Yeah, he makes it sound like a big set-up that he was a victim of. Well, the effort to expose the settlements and have additional women come forward could have been orchestrated by the “far-Left” and “George Soros” but if these women are telling the truth then the groups he is taking issue with have nothing to do with his workplace behavior. I think he has a right to be a bit miffed given that his contract was renewed after all of those settlements but he really needs to look in the mirror.

Woah Wallace did best with total viewers…
and looks like MSNBC had the better than last night . They were laying it on thick on the Comey in their primetime as well.

    • Lurker

      It was a Comey Night

Wait a few weeks to see Wallace crash & burn

  • Mitch Alan

The liberal Murdoch boys must be really happy how the Fox News ratings have collapsed.

    • Larry Kelly

They probably have been watching MSNBC.

  • Lurker

Watch 3 episodes of The Specialist, it’s pretty good when they invite the RIGHT GUESTS!!

Mark Cuban was a channel switch & Namath with Rove is just a disaster!!

    • carolr527

Today Laura Ingraham and Chris Stirewalt were terrific guests. Kat Timpf can be really annoying.

      • Grandpa D

Agreed, and II thought that was an interesting change – a Fox News employee and a Fox News Contributor. It would seem FNC knows the program is in trouble.

      • CDG24

Stirewalt seemed to make more of an effort to wait to speak than almost any other guest who has been on. It shows the advantage of having guests that understand how to act as a guest on a panel show. That is even when he is not usually on panel shows.
Unfortunately, he still had people talk over him.

Timpf has continued to show she was a horrible choice to host a show like this. I still can’t see her ever being a good fit. It just isn’t a show that works for her personality or talents. If they did build the show around her strengths, it probably wouldn’t work for the others who appear on it.

There are probably over a dozen simple ideas that would have been better for this show. Another one would have been to just have Bolling be the permanent host at first and have rotating co-hosts until they found the right combination.
There must be 10+ people at Fox who deserve a larger role than they currently have and would be a better fit on this show.
