Lawrence HAMMER THIS! O’Donnell last night to guests, “So apparently, Secretary Tillison called Trump a moron… what’s the big deal, half the country calls him that every day.”
No, Mr. Concha, don’t expect any clean-coming.

    • Joe Concha

I’m just wondering where the first half of the alleged quote went in the original report.

      • Larry Kelly

Not sure what you mean. I am paraphrasing from memory, but am pretty confident of the first part as it struck my anger button. I am sure Larry would have had no problem saying “f..king moron” as that’s part of his hammering, roiling, rock&roll ranting.

        • Joe Concha

I mean the whole premise of the column.

        • Cecelia

And don’t think for a minute that the MSM reserves such pettiness for a president who calls them out and insults them by calling them Fake News.

Their penchant for labeling free-speech defenders as being alt-right, CNN’s threat to the guy who made the Trump as wrestler gif, and the number they did on Trump rally supporters during the campaign, show how Big Media feels no reticence with punching down.

      • Minnesota Nice

I wonder as well. As they say if you tell the truth, you don’t have to have a good memory.

      • Cecelia

I’m guessing too that if Tillerson said it, and he certainly could have, it came by MSNBC second or even third hand.

        • Joe Concha

I hear you. But not why just include the “f***ing” part in the original story. Ruhle revealed it in dramatic fashion five hours later on the air. You absolutely include it in the original report. You don’t get to “oh by the way” it after.

          • Cecelia

            Agree.

          • They couldn’t include until somebody stopped the hammering.

          • Larry Kelly

Yep, CBS covered the story this morning with the reporter saying the “f***ing” part. Watching Andrea Mitchell today, she claims NBC has more solid sources than they need.

          • IN the clip I saw there’s a reference to ‘a dozen’ sources who say there’s ‘tension’, but when it comes to the ‘moron’ angle Ruhle refers to ‘my source’. Sounds to me like she only has one source for that particular charge, but since I haven’t followed her reports much at all beyond seeing that clip I could be way off base.

          • Nixon – niihpikiiookani

Her source may be the voice in her head.

Bill knocked off Hillary. Thank goodness it wasn’t knocked up. I don’t think any Bill has done that since the 1990s. 😉

NBC actually outbid Fox…..so much for the “she took less money” narrative…..

–Megyn Kelly is raking in $23m a year for her new NBC morning show and is locked in for the next three years, DailyMailTV exclusively revealed
–One high-ranking insider said: ‘How on earth can they justify paying her $69m for three years?’
–Latest rating reports reveal that Kelly’s show on Wednesday had a low viewership, a 1.5 overall rating and a .08 rating among women 25 to 54

    • Mitch Alan

Maybe she could come back to Fox News. James Murdoch has already offered $20 million a year for Megyn, I am sure he will agree to pay much more to get Megyn back in the 9 PM slot. She is the face of Fox News.

      • Cecelia

Kelly didn’t leave FNC for money. She left because she wants to be a movie star.

        • Mitch Alan

She wants to be the next Barbara Walters, that is what she claimed. Or Oprah. But you have to be likeable to do that.

          • Cecelia

She wants to be Lucille Ball.

          • Larry Kelly

Well, she got to perform at the club, and no one seems to like her singing. Some NBC executives have a lot of splaining to do.

          • Cecelia

            MEGYN!!

          • Mitch Alan

I Love Megyn, co-starring Marco Rubio as Ricky.

          • Cecelia

No. I Love Megyn starring and co-starring Megyn.

        Nooooooooo!

    • Minnesota Nice

It’s was reported that Fox offered her $25 million a year, your linked article even says that.

      • J.J.

yeah, i read that in the article, but i remember reading the number was 20 and that Fox had confirmed.

i remember reading her counter was 25 million and that is when Murdoch said “see ya”

        • Minnesota Nice

A Joe Concha report said that Fox offered her $25 million a year.

          http://thehill.com/homenews/media/312672-fox-news-offered-megyn-kelly-100m-to-stay-report

          • J.J.

New Yorker (Gabe Sherman)— One Fox insider told me Murdoch balked when Kelly asked for $25 million late in the talks.
NY Daily News — To join NBC, the anchor reportedly turned down a $20 million annual salary at Fox along with offers from CNN and ABC, according to sources.
TheWeek — In going to NBC, Kelly turns down $20 million offered to her by Fox to stay on after her current contract expires this summer.

clearly the 20 number was reported…..i was not making that up.
            20, 23, or 25 — she now seems overpaid

          • Minnesota Nice

Oh I agree it was mostly reported about $20 million, I just was pointing out that $25 million was reported as well.

LOL – Gabe Sherman is the least credible source about Fox News. He uses exclusively anonymous sources, most of his reports about Fox News turn out to be not true and he best buds with Brian Stelter. As we know Stelter is extremely jealous of Fox News success, so feels he has to try to take them down with help from dishonest news sources.

The Five is doing great back at it’s old time slot. Tuesday it was #3 in cable news, yesterday it was #4 with 2,420,000 viewers.

  • Minnesota Nice

Watch the liberals and liberal media treat Harvey Weinstein much differently than those at Fox News. LOL – Harveys lawyer is Lisa Bloom.

    • Mitch Alan

That’s what Eric Bolling should have done, hire either Lisa Bloom or her dear mother Gloria Allred to be his attorney.

      • Minnesota Nice

They are both liberal lawyers and likely would never defend a conservative, much less someone from Fox News. I think Bolling got the best he was ever going to get considering the circumstances with an amicable parting of ways with FNC.

        • Larry Kelly

Weinstein announced that he will take a leave of absence from his production company and focus his “full attention” on taking on President Trump and the National Rifle Association.

Translation: the devil who fights your devil seeking a get-out-of-hell card.

          • Minnesota Nice

And the liberal media will focus on that and gloss over his sexual harassment.

          • Larry Kelly

He did fund a “Gloria Steinem Chair” though he probably first tried to nail a young actress in it.

          • Cecelia

            I don’t think that’s possible.

          • homemaker

What apology says you’re going to take on the NRA? One that hopes liberals will overlook the sexual harassment/assault and jump on the GOP/NRA are worse than what I did!

        • Cecelia

I read something today that said that Bloom isn’t defending a Democrat, she’s defending the guy who is trying to get bankrolling for a movie of her book.

I have no idea if that’s true.

          • homemaker

Yes, it is true. She tweeted about it months ago. So…IOW she is like all the other women who were assaulted. They wanted fame & fortune over their dignity.
            Liberals=hypocrisy.

          • Cecelia

I’m not surprised for a minute either.

        • Mitch Alan

          Amicable, ha ha.

      • Presbyter

They would never have taken his case for the reasons described above. He had nothing to offer them other than a big fee.

    • Larry Kelly

      VARIETY concluding paragraph:
“Weinstein is a fighter, a screamer, and a bully. He’s paying big money to top lawyers and is on the hunt for public relations firms in search of advocates. He’s probably not going to go quietly and his attorneys will be pitbulls. But in the court of public opinion, the jury may already be out. Threats may not be enough this time.”

  • I was at New York Comic Con at the Javits Center today. I met five voice actors at the autograph tables on Level 1 and briefly walked the show floor on Level 3. Before I left, I noticed occasional Red Eye guest Katie Linendoll in the lobby (Level 2). I thought about introducing myself, but decided not to. All I could think of saying was I enjoyed her on Red Eye, since that’s all I know her from, and I thought that would sound creepy. So, with nothing else to do or see, I headed back to Penn Station.

Evidently, cleavage power is not to be remarked upon if it’s being wielded by Katy Tur and not by a Fox employee.

It’s seems anymore that liberals are invariably pleased if body injury befalls anyone who disagrees with them.

Has been a long held belief that ruffed-up FOX reporters get what they deserve.
