    Agree with Joe.

How odd is the net-net of Doug Jones winning? Republicans are relieved while Democrats are quietly disappointed. No more Moore to attach to every Republican running in 2018 now. And you know who also won? Murkowski and Collins, who have more leverage than ever. #AlabamaSenate— Joe Concha (@JoeConchaTV) December 13, 2017

Now if only Jones would do what his fellow Alabama senator did and switch parties.

      • Nope. A coastal leftist is representing a deep red state until at least 2020 when the seat’s regular election is.

        • Lurker

          THERE IS NO BLUE WAVE!

Total Alabama turnout was 776,667 LESS than the Presidential Election

Total number of votes was only 25,450 over Trump’s totals

Hillary beat Jones by 58,396 votes

Therefor all Hillary voters didn’t even show up to vote for Jones

Trump beat Moore by 667,819 votes

          • Grandpa D

A lot of Alabamians held their noses as they voted.
That’s getting to be a nationwide trend.

          • Lurker

I kinda don’t feel too bad that Moore lost

Now Democrats can’t hang Moore around Republicans necks in 2018 & we’ll get back that seat in 2020

We’ll also get alot of new Senators in the 2018 Midterms so this lost wasn’t too bad imho

          • Larry Kelly

            Did it myself last year.

          • Nixon – niihpikiiookani

Same here. But, he’s done much better than I expected.

          • Larry Kelly

And he makes people I dislike furious; bonus points.

          • sky303

Like last year’s election where both main party candidates had high un popular numbers, either that or vote for a dead gorilla apparently.

          • I didn’t say it was a blue wave. I said Jones will not change parties because he isn’t a conservative Democrat. He’s a mainstream progressive. Moore’s many dalliances aside, Jones’s win was an aberration in the vein of Scott Brown winning in Massachusetts in 2010, or Bob Turner winning the special election for Anthony Weiner’s vacated House seat a year and a half later. When the seat’s regular election comes in 2020, Jones will lose, just as Brown and Turner lost in 2012.

          • Lurker

Sorry I wasn’t specifically talking about you
Just letting people know since you were talking about the Election

          • Okay.

          • sky303

Seems a lot of moderate republicans sat out instead of voting for more, rather bite the bullet for 3 years than … vote for him in their books.

    • Nixon – niihpikiiookani

      Excellent analysis.

  • Saintsfan720

Two quick points: first, Congratulations to FBN. Great job! Second, saw a clip online of CNN’s coverage of the AL results last night. Would rather have a root canal with no Novocaine than listen to Ana Navarro and the dark haired man (didn’t catch his name) supporting Moore bicker. Talk about a terrible twosome!

    Hacked?

CNN has more excuses then . . .

      Carter has liver pills.

My parents used to say that often, now occasionally.

      • Grandpa D

“Carter’s Little Liver Pills” used to be a common patent medicine. Ads were everywhere. Well, not on TV. No TV back then.

I remember selling the OTC at my aunts store. No idea what they were supposed to do, but I was just a stupid kid. Now I’m no longer a kid.

    • Mitch Alan

Anthony Weiner also had his Twitter feed hacked, remember? Wink, wink. Cooper was probably drunk celebrating and can’t remember what he did.

The old “my assistant ate my homework” excuse.

Wow 2 more hours of Cavuto a week hope he isn’t over doing it though , like him want and him around for some time.

No kidding, are the Murdochs trying to kill the poor man?

  • Cecelia

I like Willie Geist. He’s sweet and cute.

    • Nixon – niihpikiiookani

I disagree, Cece. I see him as simply another clown at the circus called MSNBC.

      • Cecelia

Well, Bella likes him and I trust her judgment on people, as long as they aren’t offering food

    • Larry Kelly

      Bella likes him.

He ain’t so smiley right now.

When is it going to stop? Am I the only one who hasn’t been playing grab-ass?
