Picture This: NewsHounds Caught in Another Lie (MSNBC too!)

The Outfoxed gals hit new heights of irresponsibility with their latest fraud. Updated! MSNBC joins in the lie.

As dishonest as they are, it isn't that often that the newshounds (another fine product of the Outfoxed syndicate) exhibit this level of corrupt duplicity. To be sure, as the premier Fox haters they have pulled every trick in the book to smear FNC, but this time they have done the impossible: they have surpassed themselves.

This post, from deceptive Donna, says it all:
Fox Weighs In On The Positive Side
While Scooter Libby was found guilty on 4 out of 5 counts, Fox News Live stayed on the positive side by highlighting the one charge he beat. This flashed across the screen at 12:19 p.m. est today.

Is that fair and balanced? Would any other news outlet have ran that headline?

What Donna conveniently doesn't tell you is that the headlines cycled through all the charges. She just picked the one "not guilty" verdict and ignored the rest. But don't take our word for it. The pictures speak for themselves:

When we pointed this out on their website, our comment was promptly deleted. Why? Because Donna lied. Fox did not "highlight" the one "not guilty" verdict. The biased bassets smeared Fox again with cherry-picked, doctored "evidence".

Why should anyone believe anything these hyperpartisan liars say? It's too early to award The Lie of the Week, but Donna's latest smear is clearly the front-runner. You can tell the anti-Fox terriers what you think of their dishonesty here.

Update: We expect MSNBC to lie about Fox when Keith Olbermann is at (or under) the desk. But it's not just Olbermann this time. On Wednesday night Alison Stewart hosted Countdown, bringing in a well-balanced, nonpartisan team of analysts, including Max Blumenthal from Media Matters, and Sam Seder of Air America. Just by coincidence, they happened to discuss this outrageous onscreen banner from Fox:
ALISON STEWART: Fox News felt it was more important for its viewers to understand clearly Lewis “Scooter” Libby not convicted on one count.  Hey, everybody, he got off!  The TV banner reading “Scooter Libby found not guilty of lying to FBI investigators.” ...

SAM SEDER: I mean, they‘re terrified.  That‘s why you see those—that chyron on Fox News, you know, not guilty of one of five charges....

STEWART:  Well, as much as the Fox banner that we talked about a little bit was surprising, we‘ll say, deciding Libby not guilty was the lead, because he got off of one of five charges, do they just know their audience?

How does one banner out of a series that cycled through all the charges become "the lead"? Answer: when MSNBC leaves out all the others, and lies to its viewers. In fact, MSNBC used the same blurry camera shot you see above, the one that circulated on the blue blogs.

As much as we'd like to, we can't pin this one on Keith Olbermann. This is MSNBC lying. You can tell them what you think of their dishonesty here.

Maybe she does the same thing?

These anti-fox bozos make me laugh, Can we ever get to meet a person on that site who reads their tripe and never watches FNC and believes everything they say? That would be fascinating!

Over at media matters they tried to cut up E.D. Hill because she was making a point about Hillary's New accent. Qudos to some of the posters there taking M.M. to task for not posting anything about the goings on at the Imus show that morning.

M.M. they won't post anything bad about Imus & Olby.

I think we should start a daily or weekly office pool. How many times some nut will post Bushwipes. We could have sidebets. Like how many bushwipes are in CAPS or small.

Sidebets could also include bushwipes that are used in sentences or are stand alone.

Since I'm registered independent, what exactly makes a bushwipe? Someone who is a centimeter to the right of Marx? Could we have a clarification on that please?

Fox Fan: Some conservatives can not even refer their listeners to Huffingtonpost.com for the truth without making up an excuse like they are too mean over there. I caught Sean Hannity on his radio talk show and he was about to make a comment on which his listeners should go to Huffpo to read Jury #9 and read a column written on the jury process for Scooter Libby. He couldn't. He lets his listeners live in blissfull ignorance topped off with fear and envy. Possibly to the point where a Hannity listener could not even make out an alliteration. I am surprised that you are called "Fox Fan".

Dear Tom

Hi my name is puck, now I know I'm new and you want to score points with your girls over there at the post what we want or we will delete you mutt site.

Tom, Tammy Bruce was once a member of a N.O.W. Chapter and I do believe she is a Lesbian. Not exactly something that will score you points with the Jerry Falwell crowd will they Tommy?

Next I am an independent, says so on my D.L. I was a democrat but left them after I figured out they were full of crap. Republicans? we have our different thoughts but I can talk to them. So don't try any little dopey spin things like Media Matters. They find it okay to go after E.D. Hill, but they leave Imus alone on the same day. Or don't you read their posts? Maybe they deleted them. Sites like Mutts and Media Matters are soooo free speech.

Oh and in case you want to try the Hannity thing? Don't bother. I listen to Jerry Doyle.

Very simple, this is why I think News Mutts are full of crap, let's just take tonight. I turn on O'Reilly and I see Bill with Jessica Lundsford's dad on talking about the justice that was done to the low-life that raped and killed his daughter. Then I turn on Countdown and they are trying to keep some dying story alive and they couldn't care less about some little girl in the ground.

Take their blind hatred of Bush & Republicans. And take your blind hatred of FNC. And you wonder why people watch FNC over MSNBC & CNN?

Johnny Dollar and I don't see eye to eye, but one thing we will do is point out when a tail is being told about someone out of school, Catch my drift?

Now Tommy I'm also going to let that little 'pathetic' comment go by, You didn't know. I know you were just trying to impress your lady friends over at mutts. If you got something cooking on the stove, I hear ya!

If fact Tommy to show you I ain't got no hard feelings toward ya let me take care of you and your lady friend.

"Next I am an independent, says so on my D.L. I was a democrat but left them after I figured out they were full of crap. Republicans? we have our different thoughts but I can talk to them."

In other words, you're a Republican, just like O'Reilly, but you're too much of a gutless weasel to admit it because you want to pretend that you aren't partisan. There is nothing more pathetic than someone who can't admit their affiliation. "I'm not a Republican, I criticize Republicans all the time for not being conservative enough." That's simply PATHETIC.

And I don't post over there, so grow up. And btw, people don't watch FNC over MSNBC or CNN because they think it's "fair and balanced". No democrats watch FNC, and very few independents. Studies done on the O'Reilly Factor', which Bill O'Reilly HIMSELF cited, showed that 90%+ of O'Reilly's audience, for example, is Republican. That's actually higher percentage conservative and Republican than Rush Limbaugh's audience.

So really, let's be honest here. Republicans watch Fox News en masse. Independents and Democrats do not. Hence you can talk about high ratings all you want. IT doesn't matter as long as the only people watching are Republicans.

Unlike you I know I can think for myself, Unlike you I can watch FNC,MSNBC,CNN and think for myself.

Where with you, you have to take talking points off a website.

It gets to that a mind is a terrible thing to waste deal you know.

But tom you got your little cheap shots to impress your girl over at mutts. When throwing names out it's you who is showing who's gut-less. But if you want to take it to the gutter, be my guest.

Funny, I never heard O'Reilly say 90% of Republicans say they watch FNC, maybe 90% of republicans watch. What percent of stand alone democrats and independents watch. If less than 10% of democrats watch, why was Al Sharpton and Chuck Schumer on O'Reilly last week. You know they are always looking for that big crowd to play too. But like you said if your an independent your a Republican. Tommy do you check you I.Q. on a daily basis?

Did you get that off of your dopey little website MM? The fair and balanced that gives Imus a pass everyday MM?

Speaking of single digit idiots John(I live in an 8 million dollar house but I'm for the little guy.) Edwards just dropped out of a Fox debate in what was it Nevada? John why don't you just take a gun to your head at this point. No White House for you!

Murdoch threw some shindig for Hillary, Even Bill pulling that stunt on Fox News Sunday, two nights before he was on Greta being nice and smooth as chocolate silk pie. Don't you get it?

I love that, if your not a Democrat, your a Republican. What happen to the Green, Libratarian, Independent, Socialist, etc.etc. parties. Do you know how foolish you sound. Stop it! I even see your mutt girlfriend blushing. Don't you have a anti-war protest to get to?

Get going brain-less.

Now! just to stay on topic. I read the mutts and I have posted once or twice over there and gee wizz it got deleted.

But to believe that tripe they spew you either have to have a brain that is so dead that Woman that woke up from a veg state in Colorado after six years laughs at you or, your trying to score points with the mutts and hope to put the biscuit in the basket. I'd say stick with the blow up doll Tommy.

Tom: Who the hell are you to tell anybody, whether Ed Koch, Pat Caddell or even Johnny Dollar whether that person is a Democrat, Republican or Independent?

Specifically about Ed Koch. In both Congress and as NYC Mayor, Koch has always been a died-in-the-wool Democrat. But similar to Joe Lieberman, Alan Dershowitz and Ron Silver, Koch supports the War on Terror including Iraq for one big reason: the terrorists hate of Jews and Israel trumps their hatred of America, Christians, England or anyone else.

And that includes Saddam Hussein, who if you don't remember, fired scud missles at Israel during the Gulf War.

Sorry Tom, I know many many Democrats and Independents who watch FNC. You know why? Because unlike the stereotype that the newsmutts have of FNC viewers, there are a LOT of people in this country who prefer to watch as much news as they can, from as many different sources as are available. They then make their own decision as to what their thoughts and beliefs on the issues in the news are.

You get an A for effort but there's not a grade low enough for your content.

I can uphold the Newshounds' prestige roll. Why would FOX News need to make so many different subtitles like they do. They should have just written one broad subtitle saying "Libby Won 1 of the 5 Charges, being lying to Investigators." I can also atest to Alison Stewart's part in the lie as FOX "lead(ing)" with the Libby story because, if you will look at your own picture, you will see that the won count for Libby was the largest. Nice try, Johnny Dollar. Nice try on making Newshounds look bad, again ---

Wow, that's real convincing. They didn't lie by pretending one banner was the "lead" and "highlighted" when it was just one of four that cycled through the charges. Leaving out all those other banners was the height of journalistic honesty. They weren't lying to their readers or their viewers.

And Democrats who fought tooth and nail to get the current Governor of Maryland (Martin O'Malley, a Democrat, so you don't have to strain yourself looking it up) elected. Democrats who have already signed on to the campaigns of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, and are pulling for Al Gore to enter the 2008 race. THOSE kind of Democrats. Rick Kaplan? wasn't he the guy that ran CNN & MSNBC into the ground? And he got hired by C.B.S. news?
