Latest NewsHound Outrage: Birth of Christ Is "Nonsense"!

When distortions and lies just aren't enough the Outfoxed gals resort to bigoted hate-speech.

When the newshounds (another fine product of the Outfoxed cabal) targeted Fox News Live today, there was no reason to suspect that it would be anything other than one of their typical distorted summaries. For example:
Asman said that as the ACLU "continues its campaign" against the Scouts, Troop 828 decided to sell popcorn right in front of ACLU HQ in Richmond....Asman asked McKenna (who looked to be about 10 years old) what he thought of the ACLU. McKenna gave a typical kid answer [comment: if you're a pre-programmed kid]: "I don't like them very much. They don't like us because we believe in God & are morally straight." Asman continued talking to McKenna, asking "why wouldn't someone believe in God or believe in being morally straight?" McKenna of course didn't have an answer, so Asman asked Carpenter, "What does the ACLU have against the Scouts?"

No, that’s not the way the conversation went, but we have bigger fish to fry.
Carpenter replied [comment: like a pre-programmed adult, staying on message, right down to using the exact same phrases]: "We as ask our members to believe in God & be morally straight."

Newspup nancy is shocked, shocked that they would use the same phrases, possibly because she’s never heard of the Boy Scout Oath:

...to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
Asman ended by congratulating both Carpenter & McKenna.

ASMAN: Congratulations to both of you for bringing a lot of money to the troops. Well done.

So, distortions, omissions, half-truths...nothing here we haven’t seen before from the cur critics. But elsewhere in her “report” nancy drags the dogs down to depths of disgust previously unmined. She complains about a segment regarding a dispute between two pastors over a possible boycott of stores that refuse to use the phrase “Merry Christmas”:
So [Brigitte Quinn] interviewed Rev Patrick Wooden (Upper Room Church of God), who spouted the usual nonsense -- we're not celebrating any old holiday, we're celebrating the birth of Christ...

Let that sink in for a minute and then read nancy’s words again:
So [Brigitte Quinn] interviewed Rev Patrick Wooden (Upper Room Church of God), who spouted the usual nonsense -- we're not celebrating any old holiday, we're celebrating the birth of Christ...

Perhaps now it is clear why the tail-waggers, great preachers of “tolerance”, are so up in arms about any and every religious-themed story that appears on FNC. Because nancy knows that all this business about the birth of Christ is just so much “nonsense”. She can ridicule and insult the religious beliefs of millions with a few keystrokes, and then put on the smile of hypocrisy to preach her own variety of “tolerance”.

The newshounds and Jim Gilliam, the moneybags who bankrolls their operation, have gone a bridge too far on this one. They owe mega-apologies to Reverend Wooden, and to the millions of Christians who shouldn’t have their most sincere beliefs slandered and mocked to make cheap political points.
