Empty Heads and an Empty StudioWhen Communists protest, the gals from Outfoxed rev up their promotion
machine. But there's just one detail that somebody overlooked.
Those great minds at newshounds--another fine product of the Outfoxed
cabal--are strong devotees of Free Speech (unless you happen to be a swift boat
veteran). They are eager to provide some free publicity,
as "reported" by newshound
Melanie:
As the News Hound who monitors Your World w/Neil Cavuto, I can't wait until next Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. ET to see if, "fair and balanced," Cavuto covers the Shut-up-a-Thon taking place outside Fox's studios in NYC during his show that day. This moving, inspirational event is sponsored by "United for Peace and Justice". Hey, what could be more high-minded and noble than that? But a look at their website reveals some interesting information about the "member organizations" who "share our goals". The New York Daily News noted: The lineup includes the Al-Awda, Palestine Right to Return Coalition, Connecticut chapter. The Anti-Capitalist Convergence. The Anti-Imperialist News Service. The Communist Party U.S.A. and, separately, the Communist Party branches of New York, Maryland and central Indiana (who knew?). Want more? The Chicago Committee to Free Mumia Abu-Jamal. The Chicago Cuba Committee. House of the Goddess Center for Pagan Wombyn. The International Socialist Organization. The International Solidarity Movement. No Blood for Oil. Pakistan FATA Peace Forum. Psychoanalysts for Peace and Justice. Queer to the Left. The Raelian Religion. The Ruckus Society. Socialist Action, Socialist Alternative and the Socialist Party U.S.A. Also, Students Against Testing (I'm not making this up), the Young Communist League U.S.A., Youth Crime Watch of the Gambia and the School of Journalism of the University of Texas. Another of the "member organizations" is Workers World, the party that actually supports the brutal dictatorship of North Korea, writing to Kim Jong Il on the occasion of his father's death: [Kim] devoted his whole life to the Korean people’s struggle for national self-determination and the international working-class struggle for socialist emancipation. With his leadership, the Korean people . . . brought about the first defeat of the US imperialist military machine. Yes, these are the kind of wolves the anti-Fox terriers would be running with. But Melanie's breathless hope that Neil Cavuto will step outside the studio to interview these cretins faces one small obstacle. You'd think Melanie would know, because just two days ago she embarrassed herself badly talking about it. Neil Cavuto won't be anywhere near "Fox's studios in NYC" when this empty display is launched. Like the other guys at Fox, he's going to be halfway across town at the convention center. The Einsteins who organized this brilliant protest at Fox HQ picked the one time when nobody will be there! And the newspoodles, in their eagerness to aid the Communists, couldn't even keep straight what they themselves "reported" 48 hours earlier. posted: Fri - August 27, 2004 at 11:08 AM j$p  send | |
