What is it with getting registered on OlbermannWatch.com. It's pathetic. I have been trying to get registered for two weeks. It's apparent to me OW is dying a slow death and I can see why.

Maybe if someone tried to pay a little attention and manage the site maybe you could get some people posting on the site. For now, I could care less about it and have marked it off a site I care to visit.

I'm going with "after the convention" with the Obama on the Factor poll.

HSUK, with the Seattle Post-Intelligencer apologize for their daily hit jobs coming from their far-left writers? How about the NHs, are they going to apologize for their insults and lies? We can easily attribute O'Reilly's angry quote about the teleprompter to both the SPI and the NHs- "F***ing thing sucks!"

As I wrote over at OlbyWatch, the paper refused to cooperate with the FBI and Olby and others are praising that as a good thing. Whether the people they were looking for were innocent or guilty is irrelevant. The point is that the FBI had to spend months looking for them when they might have cleared them in a matter of days instead, and could have used that time working on more productive leads.

It's like someone who gets his bag searched at the airport and it turns out to be empty. That doesn't make the screener "paranoid" because the bag was empty, and it doesn't make it wrong to want to look into the bag. And it certainly doesn't justify impeding the process for no reason. As anyone who's worked in law enforcement knows, far more time is spent on eliminating false leads than in the actual apprehension of wrongdoers. What Olbermann, NH, and others want you to believe is that it's fine to obstruct law enforcement. Maybe it's my background but I think that's a silly and dangerous concept.

Johnny, do you know how much the 25 - 54 demograhic is weighted when determining advertising rates per unit?

On very rare ocassions KO beats BOR in the demo by some tens or hundreds of thousands yet BOR beats him in total viewers by a million or more. About how much do the thousands extra for KO in the demo make up for falling behind in the millions of total viewers for BOR?

Many advertisers use the demo in the buys. But not all. KO's demo wins are so rare (and usually only for a portion of the hour) that they don't really make up for the far greater audience in total viewers. If he beat O'Reilly regularly and by a statistically significant figure in the demo then he might have something to crow about. But I would be willing to bet a dinner that O'Reilly's advertisers are paying a considerably higher figure per spot than Olby's.

Hey Johnny, over at OW, you wrote:

"#2: the stolen O'Reilly video. Keith, who has made others "worst persons" for making Hitler comparisons (not counting his own Sieg Heil salute), chuckled as he described one version that intercut O'Reilly with shots of Adolf."

Did Olbermann really intercut images or video of Hitler, to the O'Reilly video?

If this happened, I think we need to make a bigger deal out of it. That's so far over the line, (IMO) it's deserves a suspension.

As Jew, with a family that was affected by WWII and the Holocaust, this is beyond acceptable parody or snark. It is amazingly offensive, and totally unacceptable.

No, there was a youtube version that intercut O'Reilly with shots of Adolf Hitler. Oralmann gleefully described that video, chuckled over it, but didn't show it.

Ah... okay. Thanks for the clarifying.

It's still inappropriate. I hope the ADL responds again, like they did last time.

This has got to stop.

True, but he's already gotten a complaint from them... so perhaps he's already on their negative radar. At least, I hope so.

Maybe I should send them a letter.

I just want to report that Cablevision ended up buying "Newsday." I bring that up because News Corp. was among the prospective buyers. This frustrates me greatly. Now, the Long Island/tri-state area media monopoly--or should I say regime?--grows even more.
I say this as I watch News 12 Interactive so I can see News 12 Traffic & Weather channel in other Cablevision markets (New York City, Hudson Valley, Northern/Central New Jersey, Southwestern Connecticut). Go figure.
