The Judge v O'Reilly should be interesting.

Although I disagree with The Judge on the current torture question I will be surprised if he doesn't win the debate on points.

Johnny, today on Morning Joe, David Gregory, when teased about the correspondent's din-din where he danced with Karl Rove, said (without elaboration) that this had been a "set-up by Fox News".

Wonder what that meant.

No one who was there had any curiosity to ask him about it?

Does anyone know if he has brought this charge up before or has his prior comments contradicted this one today?

I seem to remember seeing him jovially good natured about it before.

No, Grammie, Gregory was talking to Joe, and Joe brushed past his statement.

Gregory wasn't complaining about the ribbing he was getting, he was just sort of cheerfully cringing a bit at the jokes, when he made his comment about his dance with Rove being a set-up by FNC.

It is unfortunate Greta Van Susteren took Todd Palin to the dinner. She is repeatedly compromising what little journalistic integrity she has left by her relationship with the Palins.

David Gregory looked irritated with Pat Buchanan for bringing up that little episode.

Pat tried to recover by saying everyone only remembers Rove's moves, and Joe quickly changed the subject.

It is obviously an embarrassing memory for Gregory...and I am sure those who hold Karl Rove in low esteem console Gregory at those lovely DC cocktail parties.

"You were hanging out with the wrong clique, David!"

It is interesting that the same problems most of us confronted in High School as adolescents seem to still be challenging to the elite crowd in the beltway.

A very interesting, and one might say even culturally inspiring , take on KO.

If you're not too crushed to speak about it what happened to your Official NH Chris Homage Thread.

It seems to have met a Stalinistic end and been PURGED.

That is so disturbing. After all Ellen is on record as devoted to maintaining a durable record of her truth and superiority and all this after the fact, in the best tradition of 1984, editing, adding and purging seems counter productive to me.

TVNewser has posted that Katy Tur, Keith SugarDaddymann's much younger no-talent girlfriend, has been hired by The Weather Channel, an NBC Universal channel since the Fall, as a correspondent. The link can't be accessed due to an HTTP 500 Internal Server Error. I assume that's because so many people are trying to access it and leave friendly (sarcasm) comments. The story can be found on the TVNewser main page if you scroll down.
Here is the worst part of the piece: But since NBCU owns both MSNBC and The Weather Channel, questions may arise about whether the relationship helped get the job. Olbermann tells TVNewser: "Anybody who suggests so is misinformed, and/or sadly unaware that in this time when the industry is collapsing around us, nobody gets a job based on 'influence,' only talent."
What an arrogant jerk. Why don't you just call us Fox viewers while you're at it? She got the job because she's your freaking girlfriend. That's how she got the reporter job at WPIX, too. Are you going to see to it that she's an on-camera meteorologist, too? Nah, I guess not. You don't want to move to Atlanta.

we'll have to wait until all the facts come out, something tells me olbermann had something to do with it,
maybe tur begged him to get her a job? and the weather channel is the best he could do?? i dont know, just guessing

Since I live in Atlanta, I see weather channel on air talent from time to time at different venues. I will keep a sharp eye out for this pair as I dream of running into KO in person. The idea that she got this gig on her own is laughable.
Joke here is you never want to see Jim Cantori show up in your neighborhood with is mobile WC rig.
Now we have to watch out for Hurricane Katy & her buddy Topical Storm Olbey.

Glenn Beck doubles Olbermann's numbers in both the demo and total viewers, and he is on at 5PM (I always miss his show because I am still at work).

Both Olbermann and Maddow fell below 1 million viewers.

Congrats to Maddow for finally getting second place for the demo for the first time in the week against THE VIEW subs on LKL....a real accomplishment!

Mike, your analysis re KO is somewhat correct but in the Western Hemisphere, hurricanes move from right to left on a global scale. His problem is he can't move from right to left because he is incapable of building strength that way. If he could move from the left to left he would have it nailed. Thus, we end up with is a lot of foul, blowing hot air with no particular value or strength.

I saw Stephen Hayes from the Weekly Standard for the first time tonight on Bret Baier's show.

I think he is a great addition. He is calm, sensible, rational and has a very pleasant manner while disagreeing.

O'Reilly's show had some strange guests tonight. The dingbat feminist from the LAT was the strangest even when comparing her to the other guest on that segment.

If I understood her correctly Carrie Prejean was personally villified but deserved no protection or support from women's groups b/c she is an adult.

So why all the furor from those same silent groups when BOR said Helen Thomas sounded like the Wicked Witch of the East? Or David Shuster with his infamous Hillary pimping out Chelsea comment. Surely those three are adults (Prejean is a babe in arms compared to two of them) and not deserving of the vociferous support they got.

I was surprised that BOR didn't bring up the Helen Thomas cackle b/c it was recent and directly involved him.

The feminist movement has never so much as raised an eyebrow when conservative women are being crucified. In fact some of them bring along extra nails for the likes of Sarah Palin and Phyllis Schaffly.

National Organization of Women my derrerire (?). Under the guise of all women's rights they actually exist to further a radical liberal agenda.

just heard the most incoherrent rambling from the countdown replay. olbermann actually proves oreilly correct by quoting oreilly, the quoting churchhill. all this preceeded by a good videoclip example or obama opologizing to the world/blaming america first. and lying of course and being genrally mentallly retarded (literally).... but boy that boy is cool.(phony, hero of the stupid). olbermann's rant ws so long and unfocused, its had no point. it was so "tortured" it simply was meant to impress by the way it sounds, not its substance. like obama.

olbermann literally has no respect for his followers. he tries to shaped them into his image, or his version of the truth. if you disagree, expecially if your correct, you are a nazi to him. so you better not let olbermann know you disagree. if your a celebrity on his show, and you disagree, thats ok, cuz olbermann will just laugh thru the slanderous jokes (garafolo, etc).
....just like obama laughing at wanda sykes jokes about hoping for rush limbaugh to die.
