I have long tired of slick-trying-to-be-country Huckabee.
He doesn't fool me.

TVNewser's reporting that E.D. Hill will be leaving FNC when her current contract expires

I am tired of Huckabee's sniping as well. His remarks regarding other Republican candidates are back stabbing cheap bites designed to get him good reviews in places like the New York Times. He is digging himself a political grave and I find him to be a bitter bore who is still not pulling ratings #'s. Stick to entertainment Huck and leave the 08 primaries to the history books.

I dealt with Huckabee bashing comments in my time commenting at Townhall, including from Mary Katharine Ham while she was there (now at The Weekly Standard's blog). I hated it then and I don't like it now. I'm sorry he isn't conservative enough for you all, but please don't attack him. Thank you.
Now, on to E.D. Hill. I am really going to miss her. As with Laurie Dhue, her departure is shocking and sudden. Also as with Laurie, I hope to God she doesn't end up at CNN or MSNBC. Please keep that from happening!

And thirdly, as with Laurie Dhue--and with Tonya Reiman, who has mysteriously disappeared from "The Factor" after October 24--Hill, as BOR likes to call her, will become non-existant in the world of FNC, especially in the No Spin Zone. All utterances of her name will stop. Again, please, E.D., do not become a bitter, disgruntled former employee like Eric Burns! Please!

The good news is Keith lost in the 25-54 demo at 8:00. The bad news is he won at 10:00! In total viewers, he lost both times, but expect a lot of OlbyGlee on OlbyPlanet tonight...which I won't be watching.

Mike C. I am not looking for Huck guidence from you. I have a right to post my problems with Huck here, but will not belabor the point, this is a cable news blog and my comments will be confined to his show on FoxNews from now on. Sorry you think it is Huck bashing, but so be it. I am bashing away!

Does anyone know if Hill was let go because of her statement? "terrorist fist jab"
Maybe it was just me...But I noticed after that she had very few appearances on Fox.
Mike C. If Hill needs the money she'll go anywhere...But will anywhere be willing to have her...That is the question.

If the fist jab thing is the reason, she would have been fired on the spot instead of just not renewed. She has been on air a bunch of times since that comment so I think the fist jab had little to do with it.

I think they just wanted to move in a different direction. That's typically the reason anyone's contract is not renewed.
David, I was not trying to censor you. I'm sorry if you thought that. You have every right to post what you feel, and so do I. Again, I'm sorry.
Having said that, Mike Huckabee was very close to joining MSNBC a few months back. Thankfully, that didn't happen, and he's on the winning team (FNC) now.

I am sad that E.D. is being let go. She was as good-looking and smart as the rest, but also had some experiences in life that she was able to use with us. I figured she was being slowly pushed out when she was moved out of the morning show.
