NAACP Wants Upcoming Glenn Beck Show At State Theatre Cancelled, Theatre says no!
This is a Theatre that has hosted Bill O'Reilly, James Carville, & Jon Stewart.
Funny, NAACP didn't have a problem with them.
Kudos for the State Theatre for standing up!

RE: Beck
I wonder if Beck and everyone around him realizes that the worst has yet to come. Yesterday we heard about that horrible smear... which I won't repeat because it's, well, horrible. But I have a feeling, this is just the tip of the iceberg for him.
As is being discussed, Van Jones might actually get fired (or resign) at some point this weekend. That means that Beck, almost single-handedly, will have gotten a government appointee to lose his job. That's a great success for Beck... but will only serve to further anger the opposition.
With Jones out of office, the target on Beck's back will grow... and frankly, I worry that Beck may not have the internal fortitude to cope with the viciousness that will surely follow.

FOX may show once again they are not beholden to the Obama Administration and savy in deciding to stick with their usual programming....
Based on the results of the last presidential presser, FOX would be well advised to just have FNC carry the speech and response live.

Now, wouldn't that be interesting if Van JOnes were to get fired or step down "to spend more time with his family".
There is an old saying in journalism. "Don't pick a fight with someone who uses ink by the barrel".
And since the News Poodles think Jones is such an upstanding citizen I would absolutely be laughing in their faces if he were to become unemployed.

Unrepentant Bigot Hannity In No Position To Be Complaining About Van Jones "Racism"
Reported by Ellen - September 4, 2009 - 12 comments
In her entire posting Ellen never mentions that Van Jones is an avowed communist.
And Ellen, please don't tell us he has changed. It is apparent by his own speeches that he is a radical racist of theh worst kind.

I don't think Van Jones will be lasting much longer.
I believe that the current lie about his not being a "truther" is the proverbial straw. Piled on with the rest of issues involving this guy, he's done.

I loved the embedded video.
It's too bad only Division I-A teams were featured. So, we didn't have Brian Kilmeade cheering on his, and my, C.W. Post Pioneers. (They're Division II.)

Johnny, have you seen this about Glen Beck over at TVNewser:
I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it.

Saw it. Didn't link because I've seen this kind of thing before on cable listings so I'm not sure it was really an intentional attack.

I don't think I've seen any of it myself.
I did read about KO's show being labeled "Jackass" in some guide but I thought I read that there is a show called "Jackass" and it was just put in the wrong slot.

Most cable operators and TV stations get this data from Tribune Media Services, based in Chicago.
Probably someone there doesn't care for Beck.

Jackass is actually Olbermann's given name. Many many people have given it to him.

Re: "Tucker special toni[ght]": I watched it on DVR and bailed halfway through. Nothing like "And Tango Makes Three" being crammed down little kids' throats.

I watched the Tucker Carlson special and thought it was pretty good in the sense that a lot of effort was made to keep the thing from having the same effect as Orson Wells had when doing the War of the Worlds radio play.
Nowadays, all the effort usually is directed in the other direction...
