Um, it got lost. I'm in the middle of a power outage and trying to update the blog on my laptop with the battery steadily draining away. Link is fixed now, but if I don't get power soon I'll be undergoing cyber withdrawal symptoms.

So far looks like the left and news blogs didn't catch someone say a word that probably shouldn't have been said on-air hehehe...

News Busters has been a goldmine of Cable News info this last few weeks.
MSNBC Primetime Ignores Terror Plot Reported by Nets, CNN, FNC
Could this be an offshoot of KO feeling arkward about suddenly believing a terror plot was legitimate in BHO's term but merely politically motivated scare tactics in GWB's term?
Naahhhh! Scratch that! KO doesn't have the intellectual honesty to be self aware.

So, The New York Times will now be watching FoxNews & I suspect listening to talk radio. Welcome news as they just might learn something about the majority point of view in this country. The meesage will not include liberals talking to each other on the NYC to DC corridor cocktail party circuit.

Re: NYT discovers FNC
The NYT essentially says that stories that start on talk radio, cable or the internet have been ...sniff...sniff... off its radar.
Translation-- they ignore the conservative media.
Oh, please!
The NYT has no trouble following memes from Talking Points Memo or Huff-Po!

Re: Draft O'Donnell
He has very poor interviewing skills, he's not very bright, he is deeply left wing partisan, and he's an established hate monger.
He would be perfect for an MSNBC show.

Re: "FNC goes wide": It'll take some getting used to. So far, on my HDTV, it feels like the equivalent of reading a large print book.

Mike, I LOVE IT.
Everything is bigger and easier for me to read, especially on the older TV in the bedrooms.
On my new HD the scrawl and chyrons look like large print books but I don't have to squint to read it all.

For the last week I've been trying to remember who Zazi reminds me of.
Check out and compare these two pictures and see if you agree:

That's no way to diss the Wolfman, Grammie.

I hate the new widescreen look.
I use a regular, 4:3 SDTV. It's a lot smaller (despite it being properly adjusted according to FNC's website), and I doubt the execs had any prior knowledge about the damage letterboxing can do to some TVs.

Fox Fan
I've been watching FNC in HD for almost a year now, and I really liked the improperly sized extra small chyrons that were remnants of SD carried over to HD. Now HD has gigantic chyrons.
Back to the normal size. Suck!

Just read the Behar interview. A debate between Bay Buchanan and Janeane Garofalo??? Omigosh, what a slaughter that's going to be. Buchanan will use logic, reason and facts. Garofalo will just spit out, "You're a racist, your brother is a racist, tea-baggers are racists, everybody's a racist, you piss me off so much my tattoos are glowing, I have sexual fantasies involving Keith Olbermann, blah blah blah phptphhphpt..."
I bet Garofalo walks off the set in the middle of the debate.
