'How Do I Measure That Kind of Harm?'

J$P Audio! John Gibson reacts to the firing of HuffPoGate's John Sanders:

From The John Gibson Show, February 24 2009

So glad to see that our Gibby is NOT letting things rest with the firing of Mr. Sanders.
I'm hoping the TVN aspect of this gets investigated.

Did anyone hear the open mic comment about Gov. Jindal before his speech? "Oh God" comment

It was on MSNBC just when Gov. Jindal walked to the podem, "Oh God" comment was heard softly and I think it was "Chris Matthews" who said it....

Newsbusters has the video. It was Keith Olbermann!

I'm not sure if it's Olbermann or Matthews

Olbermann Watch just posted the video. Politico says it's Olbermann. I'm not sure. It doesn't sound like his voice to me.

I finally got it to play using Zone's link here.
It doesn't sound like any of those three to me, KO, Mancow or Tweety. Either their voice is so muffled that it doesn't sound like any of them or it was from someone else in range of the mic.
Whoever it was it was obviously taken as a shared joke judging by the laughter.
It never ceases to amaze me that those creeps can still go lower. I'm always convinced that they have hit rock bottom and can't get any lower and they keep proving me wrong.

Several of the guys at OW have made the point that it was KO b/c Tweety was at a different site and KO had the open mic. Sounds reasonable to me.
If it was him I wonder if he didn't do it on purpose. I guess someone who gets away with what he does on a daily basis may have lost any judgment he ever had.

"laughter"? Good grief, what are you people listening to? I've heard people say Republicans didn't have a sense of humor. I understand now if you call that "laughter".

I liked one comment at OW better: It was John Gibson. John Sanders spliced his voice into the video!

John Gibson,
If I remember my communications law class, if someone implies that you committed a crime, are guilty of a moral disgrace (racism), are a cheat at your business, or have a horrible disease isn't the harm accepted by the court on it's face?
It is like if there is a grocery next to a strip joint and the newspaper sends a photographer out to take a snap shot of the strip joint. The picture is published of just you walking in front of the strip joint as if you are going there, when in reality you were going to the mom & pop grocery next door, that is false light libel and the court should just accept that you have been damaged.
It may vary by state so have your people take a look.
