why is politico investingating greta?? did i miss something?? another attempt to smear greta??

as for pro and con, cable news networks have so many hours of live programming to fill. so "fluff" will get in there esp. when it is a very slow news day or cycle

John McCain's mom looks more like his younger sister than his mom. God bless her!

That story about Olbermann sounds consistant with his personality, his previous behavior and the events of that time.....

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm convinced it's true.

Roberta McCain knocked Olby and Rush Limbaugh (to earlier guest Kevin Spacey's delight). I wish I had known she was going to be on "The Tonight Show." I watched "The Late Show" instead because Robin Williams was on.

So Olbermann spent the last of April in his bathtub.

I suppose getting Gibby to cover was out of the question...

Really enjoyed the link to the Morris piece, Johnny.

The longer Morris has been on FNC the more I have come to value his opinions. He has actually managed to soften quite a bit my opinion of BJC when his eight years are taken in context with the Repub majorities.

Ashley, doesn't she look very much like Cindy McCain.

There's some real psychology there.

Compare these pictures and adjust for age.

The older lady is Keith's mother. The young one is Katy Tur.

Gettin' ugly...Olbermann states his leave was due to needing to mourn the passing of his Mom.

"The source of this story is a liar and those who spread it without seeking confirmation or reputation are beneath contempt."

###
Yikes!

"Liar!"

I complimented Olbermann in regards to his on-air tribute to his Mom over at OW, but I am a little surprised Shuster and/or others at MSNBC would not divulge that was the reason why Olbermann suddenly took off those days. Strange.

Oh well. A tempest in a teapot, IMHO, that may grow larger if Olbermann chooses it to do so.

It looks like our friends at News Hounds have may inadvertently shot themselves in the foot. Miss Ellen has posted her usual sloppy screed about one of their favorite topics, The Tea Parties. In posting this smear job she linked to a 2004 Washington Post article about Robert Greenwald’s hit piece on Fox News, “Outfoxed”. This little “B” movie production was made so as to show how Fox was linked to the GOP and how they leaned to the right.
Here are some very interesting pieces from the article.

Robert Greenwald, an admirer of Michael Moore, is trying to give Fox News Channel the kind of cinematic spanking that Moore just delivered to President Bush in "Fahrenheit 9/11."
But Greenwald, whose last movie was "Uncovered: The Whole Truth About the Iraq War," makes no effort at fairness or balance himself.

Not only did he avoid contacting Fox, and indulge in some misleading editing, but the film also features a parade of the network's liberal detractors -- including Al Franken, Vermont Rep. Bernie Sanders, the group Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting and out-of-the-closet liberal columnist Walter Cronkite.

But many of their allegations are hard to assess because they involve orders, or attitudes, by an unnamed "they" at Rupert Murdoch's network.

Still, some of the editing in the movie is questionable. In a montage involving criticism of Kerry's tax policies, political correspondent Carl Cameron is shown saying: "If you want to destroy jobs in this country, you raise taxes." Left on the cutting-room floor is that Cameron was quoting Commerce Secretary Don Evans.

-------------------------------------------

Well, well, well. It sure appears to me that Big Momma has learned her lessons well from Greenwald and others of his ilk. This article reminds me so much of the same kind of crap that News Hounds puts out. Twisting the truth and leaving salient points out of their postings. Not to mention the outright lying in their headlines. Then they have the nerve to accuse Fox News of doing exactly what they have been doing from their inception.
These people have no shame. They are liars and their little group of followers continue with their grade school comments which adds nothing to the debate about Fox News.

Best of luck to Carrie Prejean when she fills in for Gretchen Carlson in the 6:00 hour on the May 27 "F&F." I guess Alisyn Camerota will handle the last two hours.

You do know that Newshounds are a post-product (aka s***) of Outfoxed, Blackflon? They are bankrolled by Greenwald and Ellen was one of the "researchers" involved with the discredited "production". The rotten nut doesn't fall far from the diseased tree.

Seeing that pic of Olby wearing his superbowl pass to the Met game makes me wonder something...

How long is it until Olbermann starts wearing his Cornell agricultural school diploma around his neck the way Flav a Flav wears those clocks?

Yep, I knew it but things are much clearer now after reading the WP article and others about how these people twist and lie to fit their agenda.

They have a post out today, from their new student Julie, calling Dennis Miller a racist. She had to go far and wide to come up with a really lame excuse for calling him racist. They are becoming rather pitiful.

Dennis miller is NOT a racist, I saw the video, he was fair to wanda, what he liked and didnt like about her. Julie surly stretched with that one. and he made some lame JOKES at that.

Isn't it telling that Keith Olbermann gets so little respect that even in an instance where he should recieve the benefit of the doubt , he is called out for being a complete a-hole.
Also striking is how, in the process of "setting the record straight", he brings out the knives and attacks Afleck's publicist and Dan Abrams. This yutz is certifiable!
