The "Markos smacks O'Reilly" link didn't work.
Re: "Beat the Press dustup": Take that, Abrams!
That FNC mind control link has to be a joke, right?
And that's all I have for now. I'm off to bed.

Interesting links, Johnny.

The letters to Alan Colmes were terribly distressing! He handled them very well. I might even start watching him or something... :D

The Kos link has been fixed. And the FNC mind control thing? I challenge anyone to sit thru the whole thing!

OK, what do I win, Johnny. I sat through the whole thing, just knowing as Reagan did, that there had to a pony somewhere under all that horse crap.

Was I disappointed! I was waiting for a fabulously funny climax and all I got was this big deflated stupid feeling.

One bright spot. I read his bio and that is straight out the archives of Bellevue.

Evidently FNC plans to wipe out Florida by causing a tsunami.

They're about eight years too late, but better late than never...

Grammie all I can offer is a genuine no-prize. But you do get to be Commenter of the Day for actually putting up with nine minutes of eeevil Fox subliminal mind control messages.

Markos really is a propagandist. "Critics" rarely have their mics cut off. I think the last two people to have their mics cut off were Col. Ann Wright in March '07 when she filibustered ("Well, I served 28 years, how long did you serve?") toward the end of her interview and some California-based Democratic strategist that kept filibustering and dodging questions early last summer.
Good for Gov. Rendell to take a shot, small as it was, at Keith in the "Time" piece. (Ha, I said "timepiece.")

Well you have to realize that people like Olbermann claim O'Reilly cuts of the mic when no such thing actually happened, and the gullible actually believe such lies. And so the myth grows.

Well, hell! What's worse?! O'Reilly cutting off the mike two times in order to regain control of his show or Olbermann NEVER featuring ANYONE who rebuts his views??!

Olbermann has challenged Bill-O plenty of times.

What school did you go to? What degree do you have?

Challenged Bill O to what?

I'm sorry, but I don't remember hearing KO challenge anyone to come on his show or to meet elsewhere for a debate much less Bill O.

Perhaps you could provide just a few citations of those "plenty" of challenges to Bill O by KO!

Richard, it doesn't take a college degree to be able to talk to people who do not espouse your own opinions. It takes innate intelligence, tolerance, and hard sought knowledge.

Excuse enough for one-view-only Olbermann.

"When WTF Means What The Fox" is written with the usual level of class and gravitas from liberals...

It's interesting how perspectives change when it's your ox that's being gored.

I'd chalk this up to far-left/radical left Fox haters rather than all liberals. I mean, there are plenty of liberals and/or Democrats that appear on FNC and FBN (a channel that Cablevision, my carrier, doesn't want to add!) and those that are even contributors/analysts. And as we saw this week, Gov. Rendell praised FNC's balanced coverage of the presidential campaigns.
But no, I'm not liberal. So, please don't tear into me or call me an apologist.

Well, actually, Mike, the fact that non-radical and non-far-left Gov. Rendell voiced his amazement over FNC's balanced coverage pretty well shows that Fox-hating has long been a trait of liberals of every stripe.

I'm down with Murdoch's comment about the difference between FNC and CNN:"The only difference is that we have equal voices on both sides but that seems to have upset a lot of liberals."

Damn right...
