I command Chris Wallace I believe he said the proper thing at this time
there is only so much a viewer can take of the same issue.
This is not about only politics but it's Friday we heard the same, hour after hour after hour
time to leave us with a new view.
Beside there were other story out there that were very important as well.
I believe we should be informed about everything news that will affect our daily life

My guess is that Wallace is getting hints from the Obama camp that the Senator will appear on his Sunday Show and this was his way of telling Fox & Friends to kindly not screw it up for him. Other than that, coming from someone who went out of his way to create a OBAMA CLOCK to embarass the Senator who hasn't come on his show, it's a little weak to call out some other show.

Wow. I stopped watching F & F a few weeks ago because they seemed to talk about too much "fluff" (tabloid issues).

But while this was going on, I was watching Morning Joe, who spent a great deal of time talking about his sweater! Mika read the news, and mentioned that her husband was working on the story of the guy who was SUPPOSED to have inspected the crane that broke down in NYC. You'd think that would be an interesting story, and that Joe may have asked her to provide more detail. But who am I kidding? Instead, he went back IMMEDIATELY to talk about himself.

How do these people put up with him? Regardless of politics, he is just a RUDE BORE!!!!!

I watch F & F all the time and I have to agree with Chris. Enough is enough.
These folks get hung up on something and they don't let it go for their entire show.
It is good to see that Fox news can disagree on air and not have serious repercusions from upper management.
Good job guys.

I started watching this morning and then turned it off because I also said enough is enough. I also sensed that Gretchen's outrage about the typical white remark was fake. It is like their outrage is meaningless. It is fake and has an agenda. They can be very devisive. Wallace also scolded them when they went on and on about the ABC 9-11 story and he told them that the tv movie should not lie about Madeline Albright. I hope the 3 friends have a Happy Easter. That Happy Easter remark is also fake.

One of the "friends" should have pointed out that Geraldine Ferraro was virtually "crucified" for her awkward remarks a few weeks ago. Yet Obama gets no such scrutiny for what he said.

Maybe the "friends" were just looking out for their colleague Geraldine. In any event, they should have brought up the disparity in the way the two remarks were handled.

I also commend Kilmeade and Wallace. Tremendous integrity shown in this instance.

As for Carlson, she is always emitting some vile something. She shouldn't be on the air.

The good news is that we have a network policing itself. Excellent.

OYM, make up your mind. Is FOX a puppet of the Bush Administration or not? Are you saying your boy RubberDuckieMann and "HIS" CABLE NETWORK are not policing themselves? As far as Gretchen, are you just jealous of a lady that is smart and beautiful that wouldn"t give you the time of day? Are you scared of a lady that has an OPINON?

BRIAN KILMEADE!

I'm a hardcore liberal and I must say that as of today, the way you handled the Chris Wallace situation today, both on F&F and on your radio show, gave me a HUGE amount of respect for you bro!

I think you're a genuine & authentic person, and a real man for allowing someone to respectfully disagree with you or take you to task without getting ugly about it like Bill O'Reilly & Sean Hannity (they simply turn off their guests microphones when they disagree with them...pathetic, right?)

You have just earned a new democrat viewer to your show.

Have a Happy Easter bro!

I re-read my earlier post, and used the term "crucified" regarding Geraldine Ferraro's treatment by the media and competition last week.

What a bad day for me to use that term. Apologies to all, especially to the Lord Himself.

I like what Brian and Chris did today. What I don't like is the Obama campaign's response, which is quoted in the NewsBusters link in today's open thread. FNC as a network was "deeply irresponsible ... in their unrelenting and sensationalistic coverage" this week? Are they trying to say FNC is biased against Obama? Why am I asking? It probably *is* what they're saying.

Obama attacked Fox for running the Wright videos. Odd that he didn't attack ABC News, which was the first to dig up and run the Wright videos.

Chris,

I wholeheartedly agree with your stance and I want to say Thank You! Thank you for being a man of principle. I’ve listened to all I can take from Fox & Friends and I say enough is enough!!!!

I made a decision a few weeks ago to NEVER watch FOX NEWS channel again!!! FOX NEWS in my opinion has acted irresponsibly and reckless with the Rev Wright story...especially Fox & Friends, Hannity, and O’Reilly!!! They have been falling over themselves to take credit for attempting to destroy Sen. Obama’s character as a result of things his pastor has preached. You can discern by the Fox News blogs that they have successfully stirred up the KKK and other oppressive racial hate groups in America and bringing them to the forefront for everyone to see. Great job Fox! Let’s confirm to the rest of the world what they already think about Americans! Shame on the FOX news channel for allowing this to go on! I am an Independent who happens to be voting for Sen. Obama. If he does not get the nomination…I will vote for McCain. Sen. Obama’s speech touched my heart and to have to listen to Fox & Friends after that touching speech angers me greatly. The Fox News Channel is no longer allowed on any television in my home.

Obama is a fraud.. and for that matter, DEE, so are you.

What I dont understand is if you claim you're for some illusive "unity" why are you banning the most popular news channel from your house? How is that being unified with teh majority of the country?

To Vince P,
There are just some people that we should not even attempt to reach...you are one of them. There are people in this world who would love to fuel racial hatred...I take it your one of them. There are some people in this world that will attempt to hide their bigotry behind police badges, government titles, white sheets, and even sadly enough MY military uniform. But the sheet eventually falls and they are exposed. Just for the record, I have banned this station because they have done nothing but fueled hatred from their station. I don't want such disregard for another human being embedded in my family's hearts from this station regardless if that's what the rest of the country is listening to. There are some that will feed their children this and there are those that won't. I am the latter. There are other news channels that don't care for Sen. Obama, but they broadcast it with class, style, and dignity. Neither of which appears you no anything about. To have a show on the air that is allowed to make fun of his biracial heritage is downright degrading. Furthermore to call me a fraud when you don't know me is typical of the kind of audience that Fox caters to...racial dividers. If you truly find nothing wrong with what has been said about Sen. Obama by Fox News or if these words are not offensive to you, then I pray these same words be spoken over your wife, children, or loved ones in your family. Maybe then you will sympathize.

Oh get off your high horse. The only people obsessed with race are the racists on the Left who keep viewing everyone as members of thier race!

I'm not a racist.. I couldn't care less what color you are. What I do care about are ideas.

I don't want such disregard for another human being embedded in my family's hearts from this station regardless if that's what the rest of the country is listening to.

You are such a hypocrite. You just wrote me off as being a racist hater and totally underserving of reform. So if you tell other people to treat me in the same way, are you not instilling a disregard for a human being into them?

You people who drone on and on about getting along and peace and love and tolerance and blah blah blah ... YOU are the one who have the problem being those things, which is probably why you obsess about it.

I can assure you , most of country is so beyond all that nonsense. We're sick of hearing about it! Just because you got some bizarre hang up about group identity politics and you want to keep talking about decade after decade doesn't mean we want to.. my God shut up already.

We dont have your guilt and we dont want it.

Obama is a fraud. his history in chicago proves it. he is not the person he pretends to be on the campaign trail.

You probably have no idea how he got into office in Chicago and you probably have no idea what the powers that be did in order to promote him.

You dont know anything... but oh.. he'll tickle your ears with some empty platitude and you'll lap it right up .. So easy for the taking.

Look how you react, so emotionally because someone made a comment about him. no one said anything to you , yet you get all hysterical like you're a Muslim protesting a Mohemmed cartoon.

There seems to be more and more of you folks out there.. it's truly scray what is happening to people's minds.

Dee, I don't find anything wrong with what Fox's contributors have said (note: a network does not speak). Furthermore, the people of Fox never could say any of the things they said about Obama, replacing his name with a family member of mine. I'm sure the same goes for Vince P. The only way that could happen is if one of our family members were running for President of the United States and had the same questionable history of Obama!

Anonymous: You may find this startling news but asserting that I'm "zenophobic" and all the rest is actually irrelevent. My argument stands regardless of any false statement about my character. My character has nothing to do with the veracaity of the facts I present.

Thus it's not enough for the Thought Police such as yourself to merely throw your ignorant labels around.

You're "sick of hearing about" the turth of Obama? Too bad. This is the political process for adults. If you're a emotional throw-back who cant handle the truth being told about someone runing for office, then perhaps yo shouldn't be voting at all.. in fact it's questionable if you should even be allowed to own a car.

Thank you for showing how mindless and spiteful the people behind B Hussien Winfrey really are.

Arab-American Activist Says Obama Hiding Anti-Israel Stance

In an article he penned for the anti-Israeli website Electronic Intifada, titled How Barack Obama learned to love Israel, Abunimah wrote:

“The last time I spoke to Obama was in the winter of 2004 at a gathering in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood. He was in the midst of a primary campaign to secure the Democratic nomination for the United States Senate seat he now occupies. But at that time polls showed him trailing.

“As he came in from the cold and took off his coat, I went up to greet him. He responded warmly, and volunteered, ‘Hey, I’m sorry I haven’t said more about Palestine right now, but we are in a tough primary race.

‘Hey, I’m sorry I haven’t said more about Palestine right now, but we are in a tough primary race.’

I’m hoping when things calm down I can be more up front.’ He referred to my activism, including columns I was contributing to the The Chicago Tribune critical of Israeli and US policy [and said:] ‘Keep up the good work!’”

Abunimah’s report included a photo of Obama with his wife Michelle seated at a table with virulently anti-Israeli Professor Edward Said and his wife Mariam, in what Abunimah said was a May 1998 Arab community event in Chicago at which Said gave the keynote speech.

In an interview earlier this year for the leftist radio show “Democracy Now!,” a daily TV and radio news program hosted by Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez, Abunimah said he knew Obama for many years as his state senator “when he used to attend events in the Palestinian community in Chicago all the time.”

“I remember personally introducing him onstage in 1999, when we had a major community fundraiser for the community center in Deheisha refugee camp in the occupied West Bank,” he recounted. “And that’s just one example of how Barack Obama used to be very comfortable speaking up for and being associated with Palestinian rights and opposing the Israeli occupation.”

Abunimah’s report included a photo of Obama with his wife Michelle seated at a table with virulently anti-Israeli Professor Edward Said and his wife Mariam.

The Arab-American activist went on to say:

“In 2000, when Obama unsuccessfully ran for Congress I heard him speak at a campaign fundraiser hosted by a University of Chicago professor. On that occasion and others Obama was forthright in his criticism of US policy and his call for an even-handed approach to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.”
“Obama’s about-face is not surprising,” Abunimah wrote. “He is merely doing what he thinks is necessary to get elected and he will continue doing it as long as it keeps him in power.”
