I read the CNN woes piece. I hope they don't move away from what they are doing. Yes, they have mostly lefties but they haven't gone off the deep end like MessNBC. Yes, Fox is right but has only one far right anchor in Hannity.

CNN does a nice morning program. F&F is ok and you usually can find some news there that doesn't appear on other networks.

They probably need to cut Larry King loose when his next contract is up.

If Nancy Grace is beating Olbermann once in awhile that can't be a good thing for MSNBC.

And CNN really does the big stories well.

Why yes, that DOES look familiar! In fact, it may resemble the official flag flying over at Newshound HQ.

That kill bill drawing is despicable, it goes to show how some on the left react to those with whom they disagree. They have that "since I can't beat with ideas, I must therefore beat you with a baseball bat" syndrome. There are some over that pound that feel that way.

Take the little one, Please! (™ H. Youngman). The l'il feller is praying that I get swine flu, he's threatened me personal physical harm ("I'll kick your a**"), and of course he's praying for that kill bill drawing to come true, of course BOR must be violated first in other ways in order to make the l'il feller and some of the other hounds happy.

Note to the hounds, most of you would not act this way, but there is a handful of those who would, and they know who they are.

I see little Assley is whining and bitching again. Why is that little hermaphrodite so obsessed with us. Is she still sore that Obama is president, is she still sore that everyone hates Fox News, does she wish she had a "johnson", I don't get it, what the hell is the matter with her.

Now the Dollarites are bitching about Olbermann's baseball blog. Saying Olbermann is moderating his blog. What the #### does Dollar do. Is he that much of a jerkoff.
They are so obseesed with Olbermann, is it his fault Obama was elected, is it his fault that McCain and Palin where just that unliked. Is it because Olbermann calls out Billdo and KKKlannity on his lies. What is Dollars #### problem.

I will not grace the pages to post there.(he is referring to Fox Nation) There is simply no reason to. First the moderators there will allow nothing to take them off message. Second they wont expose their readers to actual debate. Even if they did you would hear no FACTS you would hear hate.

WE are getting more and more guilty of this ourselves in HERE and we better get it under control before we get branded a fringe cook site rather than a site of reason and thinking.

This is normally not a cable news topic, but when it comes to lies coming out of the pound, I believe it is OK.

Our new poster Chris mentioned there that the Huffington Post gets more web traffic than Drudge Report.

Patsy, the worlds only living human brain donor, says the following in response to this claim about HP/DR:

Not only higher traffic.

Better quality reporting.

Nothing Johnny Bu$hwipe / Mark Koldys can brag about Fox News ratings.

Only morons can take the Baboon Beck, Billdo, or KKKlannity seriously.
Posted by: AAP on Mon 4.27 4:11pm

Well, according to HP, they get 3,317,192 visits per day. According to Drudge, they got 22,529,294 visits in the past 24 hours. So, Chris and the Putz...errr, I mean the Patsy are wrong. Double checking traffic over the past year, the site averages over 21 million visits per day.

Oh, and regarding Patsy's dumb claim of "Better quality reporting", The Patsy fails to realize that the drudge report is made up of links to news sources, it's not reporting.

Oh and regards to Fox's ratings......

Their demo is higher than the demo of MSNBC and CNN combined!

More democrats watch FNC than any other cable news source. But Patsy, we can't stop you from calling those democrats "baboons" if you like.

Well now, John T has to compete with The Patsy and The L'il feller for that contest. He just chimed in with "What's funny, is back when I used to post on Dollar's/Koldys' site, I asked him how NH's were a cable news source. He said that any blog that wrote about a cable news source was fair game.

The thing is, is that this OT Forum thread does not discuss cable news. Yet over half of the comments on the threads on his site are about this thread. So I guess Dollar/Koldys is a liar once again.

Because he lacks critical thinking skills, he scores points in the contest. John T fails to mention that the Koldys thread at the Pound frequently comments on Fox News and there are countless posts here attacking J$P and it's posters. Is John T "that damned misinformed" in thinking that comments about the J$ thread on newshounds must not be commented on over at J$P.

For anyone who may have doubts about John T apparent lack of intelligence, that should have just been erased.

now i will assume there will be other sites with different rankings

also according to compete.com

drudgereport unique visitors: 2,629,948
huffingtonpost.com unique visitors: 6,021,571

i will also admit that i dont know all those sites bias is and i will also admit that i havent seen anything that will discredit them

Unique visitors is not the same as 'web traffic'.

You correctly cited your various numbers. Anisha PbD proudly posted the traffic stats for a drudge knock-off called The Drudge RETORT, apparently under the delusion that it is the real Drudge Report. In other words, she is so knowledgeable that she doesn't even know a fake Drudge page when she sees it!

also (from foxnation)100 Days - 100 Mistakes

now this coming from a site that has said "tired of biased media?" that looks biased to me (on foxnation)

also foxnation had a picture of napolitano next to a pig asking " feeling confident: poin person on swine flu is naplitano-That was on the front page earlier in the day

I'm not clear how you come to that conclusion. The only stats you cite that show HuffPo outranking drudge is 'unique visitors' (that doesn't count returning visitors and only counts each unique IP address once). All your other stats show Drudge outranking HuffPo. All things considered, they're close to each other, so under some counts it might be a draw. So let's call it a draw. So what's the point?

The only aspect of this that interests me is Anisha PbD using the stats of a fake Drudge page to claim the real Drudge only gets 10K visitors a day. As I said above she must be grossly ignorant, or else she's just lying.

"Drudge Report wins-not according to the rankings"

"The Drudge Report still has a healthy lead in terms of page views, with 197 million in January 2008, versus 25 million for the (Huffington) Post."

drudge rank: 833
huffingtonpost rank: 453

drudgereport rank: 681
huffingtonpost rank: 596

Drduge's site has one page. HuffPo has thousands. Bearing that in mind, everyone can read the numbers above and decide who is ahead in rankings. Ergo the subject of The Drudge Report, unless a cable news angle develops, is closed.

I think that I am perfectly safe in saying that the O'Donnell woman definitely went to the Susan Roesgen School of Interviewing.

No way the Cheneys could ever deny her. She definitely got the absolute best they have to offer.
