'Imagine if Joe the Plumber Was That Testy'

J$P Video! Angry Ed Schultz storms off Fox & Friends:

From Fox & Friends, October 17 2008

Duke
I didn't think anyone watched Fox news anymore.

Sure you didn't, Duke....

That claim is made so manifestly plain by you're finding and reading the site and then bothering to throw a barb.

I was watching when this happened.
I didn't get it then and I still don't get it.
What was Ed so angry about?
Get a grip, Ed.

Yeah, I guess what I should have said is no one watches it with any seriousness. I watched the clip too. I think Ed is upset about something else. Who knows. He'll be okay though. Maybe he should take a few days off. Read some blogs, relax.

Duke,

Johnny has provided statistics to show the lots of people are watching Fox. Let's see what evidence you have that NO ONE is watching FoX or that no one is watching Fox seriously.

Everyone in the world views agrees with you and views things from your perspective. Right?

Dream on!

Ed Schultz seemed more upset about previous guest appearances with the other guy than anything that happened here. As soon as the first interruption hit, he was gone. Too bad.

Of course everyone in the world agrees with me, and sees it my way. Sometimes it's hard, but we all have our cross to bear. The sooner you sign on, the sooner you'll sleep better at night!

The staged walk-offs from Steve M., Brian, and Steve D. were hilarious. As for the original walk-off, good. I can't stand Ed Schultz...or Mike Papantonio.

Thats how liberals act when they are forced to debate facts, they run. Look at the liberals, Keith Olbermann, Newshounds etc. They can not stand people who have different opinions. If they out numbered they do a group attack. If they are alone, they run. Why do you think that there are so few liberals in the military and police departments?

I don't blame Ed for walking off. On every other station, the hosts allow the guests to have a civil conversation. FOX is the only station on which they encourage such rude behavior. It seems to run in the Republican circles.

Fox news uses sex while claiming to be Christians. Why do they have women in short skirtls and all that makeup. Mother Mary didnt wear all that plaster or did she? I laugh at Fox and Friends, hello pandering to the juvenile. They are great, fair and balanced?? It is comedy. I love it for morning laughs. Where did the love for Bush go?? Man they desert a ship fast. lol

Everyone Knows Fox News is a joke and I applaud Ed for leaving. The only idiots who support Fox are those who still believe we're fighting a good fight in the war...the economy will pick itself up and yes yes there is a bridge in Newyork for sale...

Fox is the most watched news station in the U.S. Anytime the left gets caught lying the first response is to discredit the person who caught them in the lie or claim he's just an entertainer or nobody watches him anymore. Morons...I'm walking out of my home office right now...harumph.

seems like plenty of Obama supporters are obviously rattled they haven't quite wrapped this election up yet. Pretty funny reaction by the Fox and Friends crew turning an awkward situation into something everyone can laugh at.

So, if you laugh at FOX, who do you take seriously? MSNBC and Keith Olberman? Chris Mathews? Are you going to try to say that the rest of the media is "fair and balanced"?

no, nobody on Fox takes themselves too seriously (except O'Reilly, who is a lovable idiot). That's the whole point. They came along and completely redefined where the center is in journalism by leaning right. How DARE they pander to half of the country?! The other networks who believed THEY defined the center suddenly discovered they were W-A-A-AY off on the left wing. And that's why they hate Fox so much.

Democrats are a funny species. They're all about diversity of skin color, but that's as deep as it goes. Diversity of thought? Crush the rebellion!!

Very immature...

Oh my Lord, what a baby Ed Shultz is taking his toys and going home! That'll teach us, won't it!

My feeling is that his "boys" probably run a crooked business, didn't want to answer any questions about Obama, couldn't think of quick comeback and figured the best thing to do was to simply walk away.

I pretty much agree with what you said, except with O'Reilly, I'd just go ahead and take the lovable part out.

The problem is, it's just too hard to find balanced reporting. Fox leans right, everyone else swings left. Anymore you sort of have to watch them all, divide by 7 and hope you're math is right. Unfortunately, there's a lot of people out there who don't bother with the math. Left or right, it doesn't matter, they hear one lopsided opinion and take it as gospel. That's not only sad, it's dangerous.

If Ed Schultz is typical of liberal radio show hosts, I think we can now understand why conservatives command the talk radio industry.

Fox is not a Christian channel. Never has claimed to be such, and it isn't. There are Christian networks, but Fox is not one of them. Being a Christian is not a prerequisite for working at Fox, and, in fact, many who do work at Fox are definitely not Christian.

The two Fox hosts who most frequently identify themselves as being Christian are Roman Catholics. Roman Catholics have historically been more open to gambling, dancing, and yes . . . even short skirts . . . than some Protestant Christians.

This notion that Fox is a Christian network (read that fundamentalist Protestant network) is just plain ignorant, silly, and dumb!!

Dangerous? You gotta be kidding, right?
I guess your solution would be government censorship or government controlled media.
I believe that has been tried and is the current system in a few places. Nothing dangerous about that, right?

Course there are idiots who agrue that there are no demographics which suggest that anyone of any political persuasion might appreciate FNC or the occasional non-lefty blogger, but their deductive skills are as nonexistent as their sense of moderation...

I do believe that Susan is a woman before her time.

Just this morning they went on forever about "Horny Goat Weed".

I have it on god authority that as soon as the segment was over their ratings dropped by 75% because everyone rushed off in pursuit of Horny Goat Weed, whose price has since jumped 50% on Horny Goat Weed futures.

If more decent people walked off rather than gave sanction to the type of bullying which is typical for FNC programs, perhaps some in the audience would start seeing FNC for what it is, a propaganda organ under masquerade.
