I was rather dubious about Maddow when she started, and feared that she only got the job because of the Olby push or the gimmicky aspect of her openness (trying to stay in good taste here). However, I am beginning to understand that, ideology aside, she is not faking her reactions or politics on her show. I've always appreciated that in a host. It's why I like Rush Limbaugh--he's being himself on the radio. It's also why I was not as big a fan of him when he stretched himself to carry Repub water for awhile there. You could tell.
Anyways, back to Rachel Maddow. Give her her due--she is smart as a whip and quick on the verbal draw. If you like her sense of humor, then you will like her show. Me, I watch it sometimes.

let me get this straight-if oreilly beats olbermann in the demo and total viewers-oreilly doesnt have a problem-not a peep about ratings being fixed/ flawed and nielsen being in the tank for msnbc or the left-but now since olbermann beats oreilly in the demo sometimes-all of a sudden oreilly has a problem with nielsen? why didnt we hear this lastyear or earlier this year?? wait i know-cause oreilly won the demo and total viewers
where am i wrong-nielsen releases ratings oreilly doesnt like-so he goes after them (so far once) BUT when nielsen releases ratings that oreilly likes (beating olbermann in the demo) not a peep??
i know the rating system is flawed-but no one complained about them when olbermann had 100,00-300,000 viewers back in the day

Well to be fair, back in the day the ratings were computed differently. DVR viewers, the current bone of contention, were not counted, only live viewers.

Nielsen's primetime payback to FNC/BOR continued last night. The lesson here is: don't f*** with Nielsen. Also, don't f*** with Obama-Biden.

Two things:
1) Something is wrong with Haloscan, particularly in this thread. You have to refresh the thread to see all the comments. Otherwise, you can only see the one Interloper comment.
2) BOR mentioned that Campbell Brown was on "The Daily Show" last night and she portrayed him as far-right. What exactly happened?

Keith used the TVNewser link here as his source for another O'Reilly attack. There's no point in numbering them anymore.

Jon and cambell was talking about olbermann and oreilly and Brown said oreilly is far right and olbermann is far left-i'm assuming oreilly didnt show that part because well you know-(the same reason he doesnt say his name on the air)
