Yeah man....Distraction!...It is CYA in Washington....the same old politics in Obama's "hope and change" Washington.

You go Shep!

And Barney Frank's request to have the names of those who received the bonuses.....Yeah Shep....it was McCarthyesque, yet, how does the MSM cover him?

And the political donations? A very important part of this story, with Barack Obama in the thick of it with his Treasury Secretary in the middle of this mess.

Awesome stuff....thanks J$!

Shep's demeanor was certainly quite a contrast to Chris Matthews' as he interviewed Sen. Dodd.

He asked some tough questions about campaign funds and at the end said to Dodd, "Thanks, Senator, for clearing those things up"!!

Evidently it's just Republicans he treats as though they are enemy combatants.

Shep did not interview Dodd, Matthews did. There is a significant difference between the two situations.

It was great to see Sen. Dodd caught in a lie on CNN...

Yeah. Dodd has (D) after his name.

The House of Horrors, better know as News Hounds, had a thread the other day supporting Dodd and calling Hannity a liar. Who is the liear now?

I don't suppose we can expect an apology from Big Momma.

Flon, they'll just play the "Hannity is still a liar" card.

It is easy to rant and rave at someone when your not interviewing them directly.

TR,

Thanks for informing all that Shep did not interview Dodd and that, as Cecelia stated, Matthew's interview of Dodd, was, in fact an interview.

In addition, it was quite helpful when you explained that Shep railing at members of Congress through the lens of a camera for their duplicity, "Congress! You cannot have it both ways!" is different than an interview of Sen. Dodd conducted by Matthews. Chris had the opportunity, as he seems to have no problem doing to Republicans, to rail against Dodd for his duplicity.

You are absolutely correct in pointing out, "There is a significant difference between the two situations."

Well done.

I agree, Matthews missed a chance, he should have asked him.

Now what would be useful is if Shep interviews one of these fools who voted for a bill he/she did not read (unlikely because they know they would get hammered). Would he ask the tough questions without getting upset? I think he can.

In fact, all of the media should be pounding Congress on this AIG issue, especially the members who passed a punitive tax rate on the bonuses.
