She just can't let even one day go by without being deceitful, Ellen's latest lie.

Hannity And Steyn Attack Colin Powell Over Criticisms Of Limbaugh And Coulter
Reported by Ellen - May 7, 2009 - 23 comments

ATTACK...to direct unfavorable criticism against; criticize severely; argue with strongly.

I challange anyone with more than 2 ounces of common sense to find unfavorable criticism against Powell in Ellen's latest post.

Just another pathetic piece by the chief liar at the Hen House.

"As good as it might be for his goals, Gregory's presence on MSNBC is also very good for the cable channel in the solid boost of credibility and journalistic presence he provides."

I am not sure if that comment was based on something Gregory said in the interview or simply the reporter's opinion. Eitherway, Gregory should be concerned about how his appearance on MSNBC frames his image when he returns to moderate MTP.

I know I will likely not tune in just like I feel Brian Williams is a toady for the corporation goals as opposed to an objective journalist.

The same as resulted for Chuck Todd in my opinion....He is not doing a good job covering Obama objectively, say, like his competition, Jake Tapper over at ABC.

Priorites, journalists! A display of ethics would be nice as well.

I think 'Big Momma' is really starting to lose it for real. The falsehoods and baseless accusations that she makes appear to be growing larger by the day. As sad as that fact is the dullards that reside in that creepy little corner of the internet accept without question the slop Ellen feeds them daily. A pack of hating mindless sheep is all that remain at the dog pound.

Pathetic eh?

I founds this little ditty that goes back to March 2008 when poor Ellen cried when Neal Boortz took her on about her idiotic views.

So Friday night the H&C producers ask me to be on the show to discuss the Obamamess. This, of course, got the attention of uber-leftist Ellen from NewsHounds. You can read what Ellen has to say by clicking here ... she really loves it when her words get more coverage, so go ahead and read her comments. You'll find it an interesting if not dismaying foray into the mind of an irrational leftist. She, like other Obama defenders, actually equates Obama's 20-year record of attendance at Wright's church with other politico's forays to Bob Jones University in South Carolina. Weak .. but it's all they have.

Boortz is great, he just tells it like it is. No small wonder the haters over at the dog pound lie about and smear him every chance they get. Here is another great take from Boortz after appearing with Hannity:

HANNITY & COLMES

One of the real fun things about coming up to New York City to appear on Hannity & Colmes [video] is to wait to see what the newshounds people will say. Newshounds prides itself as being a website that offers well thought-out critiques of the supposed right-wing bias of Fox News Channel. The real problem here is that they end up critiquing opinion shows, not news content. Well .. these people who post on Newshounds are leftist bedwetters and, by definition, they don't think rationally.

Excellent point. The other big mistake the fox haters make is the obsession over the "Fair and Balanced" slogan. They complain because each individual person on FNC is not "fair and balanced". How many times have we heard idiots, like the l'il feller or Patsy, whine on about "Is Hannity Fair and Balanced?" These haters aren't capable of seeing the bigger picture.

Ashley, me among them but realize hannity is opinion and doesnt need to be. K.O. isnt either, and NO ONE complains about him. like i said in another comment:

fox does something: bad-to the haters
rest of media: its ok, no problem

bias, double standard for the haters

Thats why I wont pick on fox anymore.

I wont pick on foxnews either for the treatment of obama, cause for 8 years the media bashed bush, at least fox news was fair to him.

Absolutely. The haters, led by 'Big Momma' complain incessantly about a silly slogan. Then the poor dolts attempt to judge every program on Fox based on a 'slogan'. Those pitiable simpletons probably take the old Timex slogan 'It takes a licking and keeps on ticking' literally.

Beck has scheduled "The Acorn Eight" for his Friday FNC program.

From an American Spectator article comment thread:

Karen Inman| 1.27.09 @ 4:40PM
"As a member of ACORN 8, a group that was on the inside of ACORN until we asked to see the books and to get information about the more than 200 groups who are under the ACORN umbrella. When we asked and demanded answers, the staff organized the members and lead a drive to get rid of us. The action was not done according to any criteria. Knowing what I know, I plan to contact my elected leaders and ask that they stop the unclean hands of the organization."

http://spectator.org/archives/2009/01/27/acorns-stimulus

Should be an interesting segment for Beck, if the group can make it inside the studio.

I don't think there is anything to pick on. Certainly FNC has not bent over backwards to be super nice to Obama, but they certainly haven't done anythng wrong. The way that FNC treated Obama and continues to treat Obama, is the same way they should treat any Candidate for President or President.

The ignorance of these people is absolutely astounding. They have nothing else so the make stuff up about Fox News people being racist.

Any fair minded individual can see through the constant references about racism that the Hounds just love to through. This is the Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson rule. When in doubt, cry racism.

The Hounds cry racism because Media Matters tells them too. These are the worst kind of people.

Actually, 2008, I think most segments in the FNC opinion shows DO fairly offer balance.
The other side generally is presented.

That's certainly not the case for Keith Olbermann's show, where he often issues inflammatory charges and never allows those accused to come on and defend themselves.

Now the Maddow show is starting to deviate less and less from that same Countdown pattern.

Calling some talking head a racist is pretty much just the usual routine at News Clowns.

That such an inflammatory charge is based on the most harebrained sort of reasoning, is certainly business as usual too.

Just how compelling is the argument that Beck's indignation over a race-based accusation indicates that the charge is plausible?

How seriously can anyone take NH's argument that by not allowing his accuser another segment in which to explain his race-baiting insult, that it's Beck who is being dismissive, evasive, and a cheap shot artist!

Not very compelling and not very serious. Especially when it's all rounded out by the usual self-referential freebies about FNC insulting people of color all day long, and Beck's lonnnng history of racism (backed by a link of Beck ironically making the same point that President Obama, himself, made, as to how Obama's personal demographics transcend the race-based labels and constituency that many have arbitrarily assigned to him.

Again, same crap, different day...

Under the circumstances, I don't think Beck became very indignant at all, but he certainly did the right thing, you have to repond to those tired old charges from the left of "Racist" and "Homophobe".

But on the subject of getting indignant, just think how indignant Mr. Czechoslovakia got over the charge he didn't go to the Ivy League part of Cornell.

Does foxnews.com or foxnation.com have on on-site moderators, or do they depend upon the flagging of comments by other posters?

The point with the comment at NHs is that this site is highly moderated and yet THAT sort of comment stands, when Blackflon is banned for purportedly not staying on topic!
May 7, 2009, 4:39:02 PM EDT – Like – Reply

When thefoxnation.com was launched, they pointedly stated that comments were not going to be moderated at first, and asked commenters to discipline themselves. The plan was, and as far as I know still is, to institute registration and moderation of comments about two months after the site launch. So we are approaching that point now.

So Cecelia's point about NH moderation is, as they say, spot on.

Back in the day when I took an interest in The Hounds of Bogusville, I would take note of FNC show episodes that were either ignored by The Hounds of Biasville or became the subject of a delayed article whose title and tenor bear scant resemblance to the episode being scrutinized and skewered.

Exhibit #1:
Glenn Beck Protests Too Much: I Am Not A Racist--Reported by Ellen - Thu 12:29 PM
Glenn Beck threw a sanctimonious hissy fit yesterday (5/6/09) when a representative from ACORN had the nerve to suggest he is afraid of black people.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

At NO TIME during the program did Glenn Beck say, exclaim, infer or "protest" that he is "Not a Racist," yet, the title states he "Protests Too Much: I Am Not A Racist."
Furthermore, the article contains more babbling than a Scrubbing Bubbles commercial and mimicss the staunch journalistic style of Boo from Monsters, Inc.; i.e., "but my, how sensitive Beck's widdle feewings get..."
In conclusion, Ellen's conclusion is lifted straight from the title of an earlier Media Matters false and misleading article: Beck echoes tired falsehood that ACORN received stimulus funds, as she wraps-up her rap with, "Beck repeats the tired falsehood that ACORN received stimulus funds."

And just for fun, I'll wrap-up this little, boffo Hounds of Buffaloville burlesque with a question: Ellen writes "sanctimonious hissy fit." Is she being redundant or just reflecting?
