Ellen does it again.

So how many Democrats did the "fair and balanced" network invite to the dinner?
Reported by Ellen - Fri 9:29 PM

Here is a list of some of the NBC invitee's.
Whoopi Goldberg, Rahm Emanuel's two brothers, Rep, Jane Harman(D), John Cusack. Republicans anyone?

She is using "Fair and Balanced" for a dinner? SHe has lost more brain cells than I thought.

Maybe Bill O'Reilly can introduce Todd Palin to Keith Olbermann. I really would like to see how the classy Mr. Olbermann would act in front of Mr. Palin after all of the nice "reporting" that has been done on his lovely daughter and her son on COUNTDOWN.

Please, Mr. O'Reilly, don't avoid Mr. Olbermann....Make friends and introduce Todd Palin to the professional, compassionate and lovely COUNTDOWN host.

You just gotta love the moronic musings of 'Big Momma' and her merry band of dim-witted lackeys. That's the best they all can do, sit around and whine about a slogan. I don't know who is more pathetic Ellen for posting that stupid nonsense 24/7 or the little band of NH sheeple who accept without question her preposterous rantings.

Fox Nation Caption Next To Photo Of Obama: "Chump Change"
Reported by Ellen - May 9, 2009 - 7 comments

Those patriotic funsters over at Fox Nation are showing how much they really believe in their stated purpose: love for country and committment to tolerance and civil discourse again. Right now, the home page features as its top business story, a photo of President Obama next to the caption, "Chump Change." It's not even posed as a question.

What a sorry group of people. I have truly never seen such paranoia. These people are becoming like the 911 truthers.

It would seem to me that this kind of thinking would require some sort of medical assistance from someone in the mental retardation field.

Well I see two liberals/Dems (Modine, Greta), one probable liberal/Dem (Crawford), two conservative/GOP (Palin, O'Reilly--I'll count him even though he's a leaner), one libertarian (Beck), and two nonpartisan journalists. No wonder Ellen is baying at the moon.

I noticed that the NBC list is larger than any otherand pretty heavy with actors. I also noticed that Colin Firth is listed twice.

Some of the others are also duplicates. I noticed William Macy. Meriska Hagartay and Mike Myers in addition to Colin Firth.

If Colin Firth plans on coming twice as Mr Darcy I might just crash the party!

Re: "Buddy's O'Reilly adventure": I knew he was trouble. The segment was a nightmare because he filibustered like crazy. As hours passed since watching, I figured maybe he wasn't so bad; it was just the two-second delay from that studio in Agoura Hills, California (where Dennis Miller appears from every week). So much for that. Could "Countdown" be next for him?
May 9, 2009, 6:07:11 PM EDT – Like – Reply

Now that I've read the article, I can confirm that he was filibustering and had plenty more in mind. It would be safe to say Winston is a far-left guy that hates Fox, Republicans, and conservatives and thinks that all three are the same thing; working together. He thinks Dennis Miller, who I mentioned in my previous comment, is a traitor. He hates Ann Coulter.
I could go on, but you get the picture.

There's a history at the WHCD of news outlets bringing up and coming politicians, celebrities and controversial guests.

Valerie Plame and her husband Joe Wilson were the guests of ABC News in '06, and Monica Lewinsky and Paula Jones have been trotted out in the past, too.

Political balance in guests is likely NOT a consideration of any media outlet.

What most certainly IS considered, is prominence, any controversy surrounding the guest, and certainly in their status as being an up-and-coming player.

Frankly, I don't see how you can criticize NH in this instance, when it seems like you were trying to be banned.

I don't know how long they would have kept it up, but according to your posts, the mod merely told you to stay on topic, watch your step (due to your banning on the Off-topics) and not gripe about the mod's calls.

They gave you more consideration than Grammie and some others got, and you willfully pushed it. I don't think you have much complaint here.

I originally recorded the WHCD on DVR and watched it on delay, but then I found out festivities weren't starting until 9:40. So, forget it. I wasn't going to like it anyway. It's just going to be ideological/political red meat, grandstanding, and statement-making. I have no doubt that will be especially true for Wanda Sykes.

Evidently, Greta is being called Todd Palin "handler" because she prevented another journalist from possibly getting a news worthy remark from the gentleman.

What journalist wouldn't just LOVE such a scenario... 'Here you go, Ms. Lee, chat up a storm with my guest, darling! Maybe you'll be the first find to out something you can make into an exclusive...'

It's absolutely stunning how dumb Politico and TVNewers are playing by not acknowledging the obvious, in this latest cheap shot at Greta.

On F&F this morning one of the hosts, possibly Doocy, mentioned that a cut away to Obama on the tape he was watching showed that Obama had a good hearty laugh at the Limbaugh 'jokes' yet there were mixed groans and some laughter from the audience.

I find that reaction coupled with his self serving "jokes" about FNC a bit disturbing glance into his persona.

I know I shouldn't continue to be surprised that the MSM and pop commentary is NOT going to cover anything in depth that doesn't reflect well on The One, forget about anything vaguely negative.

A relatively small percentage of the general population follows politics as closely as we and our lefty counterparts do. I wonder if this is the foundation for his high personal approval ratings vs a predominantly negative view of his policies?
