If the Mancow waterboarding was a hoax in order to fool MSNBC and Keith Olbermann, then great. He sure fooled us here at J$P and OlbyWatch. I thought he was a turncoat, but I was wrong (if it's true that it was a hoax).

With quality people like Jerry Springer associated with this waterboarding hoax, Olbermann's journalistic bona fides are simply going through the roof, as is NBC NEWS'....
What a lovely situation!....
"Regarding the emails between Safran and Kupcinet, our tipster also informed us that they were shared with Keith Olbermann's producers prior to Mancow's appearance on his show. We were told that they were beyond livid when they found out about them and expressed their extreme displeasure for the whole situation with Linda Shafran over the phone, but went ahead with the planned segment anyway, making no mention of the fact that they'd received advance word that the whole thing may have been staged. However, we were unable to confirm this with anyone at MSNBC."
And I doubt there will be any comment coming from NBC NEWS regarding this possible publicty stunt. There will be silence.
I really love this and I hope either O'Reilly or Hannity cover it only to tweek Olbermann regarding his likely mistake in giving Madcow credibility on a major news network....
Of course, they need not mention Olbermann's name. Salt in wound.

That was the first time that I saw madcows video. FAKE!!!! Half of the water was poured on his neck. And then he goes on Keith "Tokyo Rose" Olbermann! If poor mancow needed money that bad he should just get in line for the Obama hand outs.

At last - Tucker on FNC.
Tucker was on Greta's show last night.
Good to see him finally make an appearance.
Perhaps he has been on other FNC shows and I have just missed him.

It's great to see Tucker Carlson on Fox.
I can already picture him taking over for certain Anchors whose heads and opinions are just too big...such as..
Shep Smith.

Do you really mean his "head is too big" or he has a big ego? This is not unusual in the news business. Although I believe Smith to be one of the best anchors out there.

Ellen, the resident liar at the Hen House, just loves to cast Hannity as a racist.
I wonder what she would do if see knew that Hannity, while in Atlanta, worked hand in hand behind the scenes with Hosea Williams(a black man) and his annual Thanksgiving "Feed the Hungry" foundation to help feed our hungry in Atlanta(mostly black people).
Poor Ellen, the resident liar at the Hen House, would never acknowledge this news even if she had known about it. It is simply not in her makeup.

That's just what Chris Matthews needs to drive his ratings up into the stratosphere....a lead in by David Schuster.
I hope you all sense the sarcasm!

That side by side 2002 - 2009 photo over at Olbywatch is a classic!

Let me be the first to say congratulations to NBC NEWS for being played. Poor journalism standards will eventually bite you in the butt!
Keith Olbermann is a disgrace.
I put parts of the transcribed interview Olbermann conducted with Madcow on Tuesday over at OW....What a silly, silly man.
He actually called what Madcow went through as "genuine."

Mancow....I suppose I was thinking of Maddow and combined the names.
There will are three ways Olbermann will deal with this....
1) Ignore the development.
2) Absolutely go nuclear on Mancow with multiple references to his political leanings while taking no responsiblity for the promoting the story himself.
3) Apologize for airing the false story and move on.
I'm betting on #2.

You have to have keen mind to follow what the hell happened with the Mancow thng.
I know there's no shortage of people who can understand this AND follow the plots of two or three tv soap operas, but I'm sure not of them.

Mancow will return to "Countdown" tonight to likely deny Gawker's report and attack them and people like us.
Bill O'Reilly might even come up. Drew Peterson recently made a collect call to Mancow's radio show and made jokes while claiming supposed innocence. This was one of the topics in last night's Kelly File segment on "The Factor." Neither Bill nor Megyn made fun of Mancow, instead focusing on Peterson. They did acknowledge that Mancow has appeared many times on FNC.
So will Billo [Ding!] come up tonight? Will Keith and Mancow mock him and attack him in addition to Gawker and lunatic fringers [Ding!] like us? We'll see.

Re: "Or was it?": Hey, Mancow, it's too late. If you want me to come to your defense, come back to FNC and explain yourself there. Talk to "Red Eye." But Keith Olbermann? Wrong network, wrong show.

I like the way this feller writes: "Nothing he (Mancow Muller) says should be taken at face value. For Olbermann to do so sort of undercuts the self-righteous, sanctimonious, posturing that has made him an icon in his own mind and motivates him to hurl insults at doo-doo-covered blogs."- John Cook
