Regarding the NYT piece....

Poor, poor MSNBC...."whipping boy" was the term used by the effete leftist Keith Olbermann, once again jumping feet first into hyperbole by employing a racial epithet....

I do not buy it....MSNBC is OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT central and has been since the radical left reared it's ugly head in the primary....the orders from the masters have been met.

Any means necessary were used to oust HRC, which I have NO problem with, BTW. Politics is dog-eat-dog and Clinton Co. used all of their dirty little tricks to try to get to 51% as well....It's just SNOBamessiah and his minions were a little better at it....

And having the radical left demogogues at MSNBC to tout the propaganda was helpful.....good job!

Now on to the GE.....let's see how MSNBC handles getting past McCain....we'll all be watching!

The MSNBC punked article is hilarious! The rumors aren't true about Michelle's whitey statement. "Truth: She said they were Crackas." lol

Will Olbermann make MSDNC WPITW for showing a smear site against Obamanation on air and passing it off as and offical Obamanation site? Nope, Keith still has no manhood.

I don't understand how Huff N Puff can complain about McCain’s town hall if McCain gave tickets to Bloomberg’s office. Hasn't Obamanation been courting Bloomberg for quite some time? Bloomberg is and independent. If Obamanation would have showed up, he could have given tickets to who ever he wanted. Where were their complaints when CNN stacked the republican primary debate with democrats?

That was his old time slot before they tried making it a syndicated show. He requested it, he claims, but whether it's a good move depends on what comes before it. I still don't know what's going to go in that 8:00 pm slot.

I think Abrams (like Keith Olbermann's) is unnervingly inconsistent and utterly lacking in self-insight, until you understand that he thinks that his ideological bent is neutral, in the sense that any logical thought is a neutral and suitable starting point to a discussion, a philosophy, an action, etc.

Sean Hannity has admitted he supports John McCain!!! GASPPP!!!

Reports Captain Obvious Dan Abrams. Here is another News Flash Dan. So does Karl Rove!!!!!

I think we are all shocked an appalled that Fox News would have a McCain supporter on a debate show. Keep up the good work Dan.

Not that this is relevant to anything being discussed here at the moment, but it IS news related -- as I type this it's just been announced that Tim Russert has died after having a heart attack today.

Well Russert is dead. I do offer my condolences to his friends and family.

I hope it is not too disrespectful to note that Tim had earlier worked in key staff positions for Cuomo and Moynihan, two liberal Democrats. Afterwards he became one of NBC's leading journalists.

Ellen Brodsky of Newshounds has a fit whenever Fox hires someone who is even vaguely related to Republican. She doesn't care if Fox hires someone who is related to Democrats (unless it is Dick Morris). And of course people like Tim Russert are always given a pass.

Another example of NH hypocrisy, and another example of the rank hypocrisy of Ellen Brodsky.

Russert was that last once of credibility that NBC News had. I think Russert did make a genuine effort to be fair and balanced. I think the leftward drift of NBC did pull him further than he wanted to go. It is sad that Russert had to pass away and the low point of NBC News. We can only pray now that NBC does not tarnish his name by putting that hack Olbermann or Chris Matthews in his chair on Meet the Press.

"Olby sucks", I'm afraid that's what I thought at first, too.

I just can't believe this. He truly was the only bright spot at NBC News. But what a loss for the world, and especially his family. And for his son - Father's Day is this Sunday.

OTM,

Don't know if you even saw the classic Mary Tyler Moore show, where people were having trouble containing their laughter at the funeral for Giggles the clown.

The preacher stopped in the midst of his sermon and said, "some of you want to laugh. Well go ahead. Giggles was about making people laugh. There is no better way to honor Giggles than to laugh."

Russert life was about politics. There is no better way to honor him at the time of his death than thoughtfully to talk politics.

One quick non-Russert item: I hope The Weather Channel is not bought by NBC Universal, but I know it will be. I know that because I had hoped Cablevision would not buy "Newsday," and that's what ended up happening. I think I said this in an open thread a few weeks ago, but it's worth repeating.

My thoughts are with Russerts loved ones. And this site has regulars that have class. I was happy to see all of the posative comments.

Then I made the mistake of looking at News Hounds. Something told me not to because I knew what I would find and I was wright. The lies and hate over there are amazing. They managed to pull in their, I hate Fox, I hate Oreilly, I hate Hannity, I hate anyone and anything that disagrees with me. A low class group to say the least.

You're on thin ice here, CC. Your personal attack on me in another thread stood when you ran away rather than document it or take it back. So you'd better not complain about editing your comment. It was edited, as others have been, because you are cutting and pasting blocks of text--wholly unnecessary--and then inserting a link to a video that's been linked in my main post for over 20 hours now.

If you don't understand, I'll explain it one more time. I don't want links posted in the comments to articles or videos that I've already linked to in the main article. Clear now?

The videoed Democratic response is up but not the event itself.

See everyone how biased fox is. They put the democratic speech up; but as of yet they haven't put McCain's event up . . . the event the Democrat was responding to. So the Democrats had their say but the Republicans (specifically McCain) did not have his.

Fox news is clearly tilted towards the Democrats.

Oh wait. I forgot. It is supposed to be the other way around.

I'm saddened by Russert's death.

I was listening to Hugh Hewitt's radio show and Russert sounded like a great family man. He loved his family and they loved him. And he comes from a similiar background as mine (patriotic Catholic urban blue-collar)
