Greta seemed a bit prickly and defensive on that clip. I don't much care whether Senator Obama goes on her show or not. Doesn't seem to help him much if he does, and it doesn't seem to hurt him if he doesn't. It's is call, and I don't think Greta ought to be moaning and bullying.

Chris' throwing a bottle corresponds with the wacky behavior he displayed on Hardball yesterday.
I tuned in to see if, after his vacation, he was compos mentis, only to discover that Matthews was crazier than ever.
I could only stand it for a few minutes, but the evidence was there that he is unglued, once again.

If his choice is not to go on FoxNews, then so be it. The more he runs against a cable news network, the more childish and insecure he appears. He and his circle of advisers appear to be planning to run against talk radio as well.

All this frames McCain as the adult, serious future commander & chief.

Hillary finished strong in late primaries when she shifted and appealed to the FNC audience.

I hope this lesson remains lost on him and his inner circle.

Obama seems to have a habit of writing people off. Greta's show would certainly be an easier experience than sparring with Hannity, who has really been more of a bully in his "campaign" to get Obama to guest anchor.

As someone that had a big hand in that recap, thank you, Cecelia.
Obama has been interviewed for FNC ("Fox and Friends," Bill Hemmer) and FBN (Alexis Glick), but not for the FNC primetime shows. And I'm still mad that he lied to BOR's face in New Hampshire back in January. To me, he only approached BOR because BOR created a scene when he got into it with the staffer, St. Marvin Nicholson.

I doubt that Senator Obama not appearing on Greta has much to do with some unknown fear factor. More likely, image is involved. Greta's show is a bit too Jerry Springeresque. Maybe, when she gets more serious or is allowed to get more serious, the situation will change.

I think I coined a new term. It describes Cablevision customers that are sick of the company's arrogant attitude and unwillingess to add channels that many other cable companies, and phone and satellite operators have already added!

I've watched FBN, and, as long as Cavuto is not on, it's not bad. Glick is good. Asman is OK. I think FBN may be a bit of an acquired taste, however. Over time it may achieve a certain gravitas, but I don't conciously turn to FBN nor have I reached a level of comfort with FBN to rely on it for business or investment information.

Well I just posted a comment at NH. I guess that means another 'harrassment' complaint from Ellen Brodsky! Check it out before it disappears...it's on the "one of us" post (currently on top). Yet again, the NHs have created a wholly fictitious post about a comment that was never made.

I'll wait for my comment to be deleted before exposing this one in a separate post over here. What's ironic is they posted the video, and their very own video contradicts their article!

NBC may give Phelps race coast-to-coast live coverage...I don't understand this...Why not give live coverage all the time for those who want to watch it live...Then re-air it for those who can't watch live or don't want to watch at that time.
Over here in the UK...I can watch live on BBC + interactive is available...But if I can't watch live...I can see it latter at a more convenient time.

Also, since the NH Mods are so aggressive about purging comments . . . not just basing their deletions on their written reasons for deleting . . . then yeah . . . I think that NH really is responsible for the comments they allow to remain.

I was channel surfing and on MSNBC's Olympic coverage, Olbermann was plugging his show which will include another O'Reilly attack. Olbermann apparently is going after O'Reilly's notion of money being spent to keep the Edwards affair quiet and try to say its similar or O'Reillys harrassment charge with money being spent to settle. Trying to make apples and oranges the same thing I see.
