Coop's hair is gray because of poor ratings? I always thought it was his fabulouth hair coloring applied by his fantathtic live-in thtylist/masseuse/pool boy.

MSNBC & CNN are looking for the comfort bags because Carrie Prejean was allowed to keep her Miss California title and Hannity has the exclusive interview with her tonight on his show. Can you say ratings BONANZA! You know it just kills them to be OutFoxed yet again!

Whoa, Shuster is entering "Chelsea was pimped out" territory.
Women (or men for that matter), that have undergone cosmetic surgery do not have standing in the arena of ideas? They cannot advocate for their sincere beliefs nor can they be considered serious participants in debates or causes?
Whoa. John Kerry and Nancy Pelosi have had more botox injected into their foreheads than 5000 petri dishes of Clostridium botulinum but I disagree with them because they have nutty world views. Also, I think they are more than sincere in their beliefs about healthcare, war, etc....but their desire to look like a department store mannequin does not prohibit them from being voices for their causes.
Wrong? Yes.....their ideas are revolting, but they are sincere ideologues and so they are not "revolting."
Shuster is a putz?

David Shuster may very well be the biggest idiot in Cable News, even surpassing Olbermann.
His attacks on Miss California are completely ridiculous. I guess Shuster has become a member of the thought police, going after people for what they think rather than what they do.
His comment "Prejean, who got cosmetic surgery before the pageant, just spoke of "how women can make a difference in the world." Absolutely revolting." is absolutely absurd.
Ladies, how does this statement make you feel? That by getting cosmetic surgery, you are no longer morally able to say that women can make a difference in the world.
MSNBC has yet another major embarrassment on their hands.

i wonder if shuster, KO, and all others that attacked her read the 12 page contract, if not, they need to shut up!! also, is there a way for the rest of us to read it??

After reading Shuster's conclusions about women participating in debate....
And after watching Liz Cheney mop the floor with Olbermann's favorite echo, Eugene Robinson, on MORNING JOE.....
I only have one question....
Are Liz Cheney's breasts real?

I nominate Cee for CoD, Johnny, with that question.
Ashley, I think Shuster is outrageously revolting.
I have a 14 year old granddaughter who participates in Duke Universitie's Talent Identification Program. She took the SAT as a 13 year old and scored in excess of 1150, which qualified her for special summer courses at a local university. She belongs to the National Honor Society, is in the AGP program, is a fairly accomplished pianist, performs in a school sponsored show chorus and is an absolute knockout now that her 2 1/2 year othodontia and cosmetic dentitry is finished.
Should we put her on the short bus and send her to special classes for the outage of all that cosmetic work on her teeth?
Perhaps folks like Ellen might be more acceptable if they had a little bit of desire to look their best. Nothing drastic, maybe just comb her hair, wear a little makeup and smile once in a while.
Conservative women would eat Shuster alive for his mysoginy (?) cloaked in all that progressive liberal tolerance! That may be the source of his utter contempt of women.

I second the nomination, Grammie!
LIz Cheney had FOUR people on her back and more than met the challenge.
David Shuster has got to be joking!
What industry is he in?
Does he think Andrea Mitchell is still operating with her eyebrow at the same place they were 15 years ago?
I don't think I've read a more willfully disingenuous comment all year!

Uh-oh! The l'il feller isn't going to like the news about Foxnews.com growing.
In response to the magnificent Fox News ratings, again and again beating MSNBC and CNN combined, the little one had to change his tune and actually started commenting that the TV ratings really don't count today, that it was really the web ratings and MSNBC was doing just so great.
Times change little one.

I met my husband for lunch at a very small diner today. An varying and eclectic menu of great food draws a mixed customer base; blue collar and white collar alike.
A tv on the wall played FNC with the sound muted and the closed captioning on, and I was amazed how everyone stopped eating to watch the Trump announcement. Some newly arriving customers actually stopped in the middle of the floor and watched.
Prejean is gorgeous girl and I'm sure that accounts for a great deal of the interest, but I think the whole episode has caught people's attention because of the free speech element.
I didn't hear any comment about gay marriage, people just expressed disgust that such a mountain had been made out of a beauty pageant comment and about the trouble Prejean has had to endure.
I think this whole thing has more "legs" than I, at least, had realized. There's real concern out there about this sort of public persecution.

Johnny, those eyes right on the camera lenses of Garafolo deserves a prior warning. I wouldn't have believed it possible but those up really close and personal shots show her off in a worse light than normal.
How about a link to her wretched performance with her lapdog KO that started this whole thing. I'm pretty sure she fuzzed the hard edges of her actual comments to the salavating KO in this interview.
If memory serves me she did impugn conservative's intellect (limbic brain, anyone), general knowledge and made a blanket accusation of racism against hundreds of thousands of people.

Garofalo, the "unfuzzed" quote, during the COUNTDOWN appearance.....
"It's not about bashing Democrats, it's not about taxes, they have no idea what the Boston tea party was about, they don't know their history at all. This is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up. That is nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks. And there is no way around that,"
When asked if she hates, "conservatives" she avoids answering the questions by claiming the protesters were not "conservatives." So the accusation of her hatred stands undenied.
I thought it was hate speech all along.

It would not surprise me that they told him that his show was not cancelled, but was being put on hiatus for the summer.
And Shuster being the dope that he is, fell for it.
But let's look at it this way, Olby just a raise. With that raise MSNBC says not only do we condone this behavior, we encourage it.
Shuster being the good company stooge that he is, will go along with the program.
So I say. I don't think we see and hear enough of 'T-BAG' Shuster.

Shuster really has to just stop talking!

"The only jumping off point is jumping off a cliff if you really believe that people at these pageants have anything worthwhile to say to THE REST OF US."
Oy. Dehumanization in the purest sense of the word. In trying to convey his enlightened contempt for beauty pageants, Shuster actually illustrates their most crudest and evil influence.
I suppose the next time I see The First Lady on the cover of a fashion magazine, or the first family all smiling at me from the cover of PEOPLE while I buy my slurpee, I'll feel so much more superior because I can conclude that they simply serve as pretty "objects" to look at.....shhhh, don't speak!

No, the person I'm thinking about is older than Guifoyle.
Guifoyle used to sport a heavy eyeliner, blue-red lipstick sort of look that New York women seem to like. She's toned that down now and looks very pretty.
I never particularly liked her until I saw her on Red Eye and changed my mind. She's very funny and a great guest!
Hearing that she's married to Mickey Sherman has caused me to question her sense now though...

Contessa Brewer on MSNBC said the following today:
"The Donald announces at 11am whether Miss California gets to keep her crown, though she hates gay marriage but likes to take her shirt off."
Let's see...Brewer feels that Prejean hates gay marriage because Prejean says that marriage should be only for a man marrying a woman. Since President Obama feels the same exact way, therefore Contessa Brewer could also say that BO hates gay marriage.
Brewer also feels that Prejean likes to take her shirt off because Prejean has been photographed without a shirt. Since President Obama has been photographed without a shirt, therefore Brewer could also say that BO likes to take his shirt off.
Any possibility that Brewer would be non-hypocritical and say something along these lines:
"The Donald announces at 11am whether Miss California gets to keep her crown. In other news, President Obama hates gay marriage but likes to take his shirt off."

O'Reilly's point is that if you define marriage as something outside the context of natural law, then the possibilities of how it can be defined are limitless.
Personally, I'm for civil unions for gay folks, but this turning everyone who doesn't think precisely as you think into a gay hating monster, is frightening.
MSNBC seems to be the pied piper of a bunch of closed-minded philosophical thugs.

Brit Hume, who worked for ABC News for years and was their WH correspondent, has often said that the media is predominately liberal and has short-shifted conservatives because of it.
When he was hired by FNC, Hume said that he would cover all sides of every story, and he did.
Thanks for the clips revealing institutional media bias, Mr. Hume!
As usual, the trouble seems to lie in not treating conservatives and conservative perspective as if they are tainted in some way. Criticism comes from putting both on par with your solid coverage of liberal arguments and perspectives.
