Peter Doocy: An Ugly Drunken Retarded Gay Nazi!?!

So this Villanova student walks into a town meeting and asks John McCain a question. The crowd cheers and roars with laughter, and the exchange is featured on all the news channels. But the student happens to be the son of an FNC host, and that's enough to unleash the Fox haters' echo chamber. Here are "highlights" of the open-minded, tolerant reactions culled from three top hate sites.

From the newshounds:

  • What's Doocy's son doing in Villanova, shouldn't he be in Iraq?
  • Little Peter Douchey is as fatuous as Daddy Douchey!
  • 7-to-2 that young Douchey is a binge drinker...
  • He [little Doo] looks like a smug little [expletive deleted]
  • Fox doesn't miss a beat -- it would be just like them to slither one of their own into the Hardball audience.
  • Wonder if Doocy's son does bong hits for Jesus?
  • Sounds like he's just another [expletive deleted] idiot just like his dad.
  • is everyone associated with Fox [expletive deleted], even their children?
  • If he had any intelligence he would have put a sack over his head.
  • So when is Doocy's son going to Iraq?
  • I'm sure Steve was prud [sic] of his stupid son.
  • Why isn't that young punk in Iraq? I'd guess it's because of, "Don't Ask,Don't Tell!"
  • Doocy has a son? I thought he was gay.
From Think Progress:
  • The turd does not fall far from the propagandist’s ass.
  • Ahh.. the hitler [sic] youth revisited.
  • My sympathies to any future girlfriend of Peter’s. Don’t expect any moral high ground with this guy.
  • Why isn’t he in Iraq?
  • Doocy, squinty eyes, looks like hes [sic] drunk.
  • The arrogant little [expletive deleted] has a big future in the Rupugnant Party. He’s got that Bush like [sic] smirk. He’s probably gay.
  • I’m just surprised Doocy could find a partner gay or straight. What a tool.
  • Why do the GOP, Fox News members and their sons have such a high representation of gays?
From the Huffington Post:
  • The young fox puppet peter douchy [sic] they [sic] plant these sorry little scum every place they go.
  • That kid shouldn't let it be known he's related to that blonde bimbo. he'll [sic] be run off any future in broadcasting...
  • That boy looks like he is missing a chromosome
  • Or has one too many...
  • In a Progressive world such children would not come along. At the beginning of the Progressive reign retroactive actions would have to be taken against such spawn, regretfully not a pretty option but necessary. We can't allow the neocons to drag us down in the next generation as well.
  • He Sure is what I would call One Butt Ugly Kid !! And Why Isn.t [sic] His Sorry Behind in Iraq Fightin ?
  • I forget...are we still pretending that this born-to-privilege kid actually thought up this question on his own? Yeah...I"m sure Daddy didn"t [sic] tell the kid to ask it.
  • What a weird looking kid,he [sic] remind [sic] me of one of the kids in the movie,Children [sic] of the corn [sic].
  • Wish we could draft his ass and send him to Iraq. Doubt he would find that funny.
  • Yeah, i [sic] doubt that little [expletive deleted] would be quite so smarmy if he was [sic] dodging bullets in Basra...
  • Aren't kids like Peter Doocy the reason cousins aren't supposed to marry?
  • I can't believe that troll queen actually bred with a woman(?). The son....ughhh....maybe Steve bred with something else.

(normal): That was a great question and clip. Unfortunately, since it was Hot Air, all the commenters hate McCain. Or as John Gibson might have said two months ago, they have McCain Derangement Syndrome. I apologize in advance to anyone that has legitimate disagreements with John McCain.

Absolutely disgraceful. While I don't care for Dad, I wouldn't condone such remarks about him, and I thoroughly condemn such remarks about the son. The relative freedom and anonymnity of the internet is so often abused, right wing and left wing, apolitical, all alike. That ought not give license for vulgarity, but license is often so taken.

A parallel feature of the internet and blogging is that the ignorant are given a stage, perhaps for the first time in their lives, to share their ignorance with the entire world, a gift most of the world would just as soon decline with grace.

When vulgarity and ignorance mate, All the Marys in Heaven Help Us!

Perhaps, as the novelty of the internet and blogging wears off, this will stop or lessen, but we all live among a mountain of trash. The heaps of garbage will not soon leave us.

We can take comfort that most contributors are not vulgar, and many are not ignorant.

Something to remember too, is that when it comes to the sort of rabid partisanship behind blue blog sorts and trolls, you aren't dealing with the most subtle of minds.

Doocy essentially said, since Hillary's drinking with voters, is she "hitting the sauce" because Obama's winning and that said, do YOU want to go and out with me and knock a few back....

Oh, the humanity.... and ...hmmmmm...

I'm watching the Pope on CNN right now. Wolf is narrating, but does anyone know who else is there? Some woman and apparently a priest or some other religious man, who has been to the White House at State dinners. And he's going later tonight as well. I just wonder who the guy is - maybe a big guy in the Catholic church?

Cecelia, I'm afraid it is much worse than that. The word from those who know is that now that Peter has served his purpose he has been cut loose by Fox and will be lucky to be able to afford a community college.

I personally think that this has Karl Rove's stamp all over it. No one at Fox would be powerful or devious enough to embed Steve Doocy's son at Villanova to not only smear the Dem but to also give the Repub a heads up to score points.

I bet if I wrote a Diary at Kos or a blog at HuffPo saying the same thing I would have dozens, if not hundreds, high fiving and cheering me on for speaking "truth to power"!

Well, the answer to Samir (all these creative nicks...) is that Peter Doocy isn't in Iraq because we have a volunteer military. That it is voluntarily, has been at the will of the people, the president and congress.

If ...eh.... Samir.... wishes to go back to a bygone era in this country, when there was great societal pressure for able-bodied men to enlist regardless whether they were students, fathers, or any other circumstance, I'd like to suggest that he might find himself much less at home in THAT culture than the people he despises.

Samir likely realizes this. But his job is trolling, not insight...

1) I build homes with Habitat For Humanity, does that count? I think you guys called that charity a scam, no?

2) I donate monthly to several HIV/AIDS research funds. You?

3) I donate cash monthly to several Darfur Awareness groups. You?

4) I would rather have a Cuban system here in USA (with more consideration to human rights) and have been working to see that happen for some time. I adore universal healthcare and will not rest until that is a reality here for our troops in the States. You?

5) You assume a socialist is a supporter of one of the worst human rights abusers in the world? Nevermind the fact that China is not an example of socialism (and really neither is Cuba but I admire their healthcare system). I think we should look to France and Spain and mold our country more like those nations.

But my most important goal is an adoption and improvement -- again, with respect to human rights and choice -- of a Cuban national healthcare system for all our troops and the men and women who are blessed by their service.

The remarks on Doocy's appearance are ridiculous. But what's more ridiculous is that Doocy can ask McCain, who may very well become the most powerful man in the world come this Nov., a question and he asks him something this totally dumb. What a wasted chance. It's a shame someone with an actual political question couldn't have been chosen to speak with McCain. Doocy made a mockery of the opportunity.

Doocy must have noticed that the people who ask Chelsea questions about how her parents handled the Lewinsky matter got noticed on TV and got their 15 minutes of fame. Doocy was looking for his too and he got it. Hope he's proud of himself.

Wow, such angry, jealous people. The beauty of America is that it is still free. Well, for a bit longer. So if a bit of nepotism helps the kid gets his start, big deal. He'll have to prove himself. Obviously the very unhappy bloggers had to rise to their successes all on their own. (As did I)
But face it juniors, jealousy never looks good on anyone. Maybe you should ask yourselves, what good will I do with my life? Or will I occupy space and the world will remember be by my anger and jealousy. Then again, people that are that like that are rarely remembered. Step up and live your lives for good.
