I think Fox have hit the bottom of the barrel with this gem...Hume must feel humiliated....Me thinks Laura didn't sign up to play silly games...How many talking points could've been delivered during that time.

Is this here because:
It's funny.
DING! DING! DING! It shows the tragedy of face lifts gone bad. DING! DING! DING!

I am stunned that Laura picked Superman over Hulk. Hulk (or Bruce Banner) is a brooding kind of guy who turns into a Green Monster when he is angry. In fact, no one likes him when he is angry.
Laura once dated KO' therefore, I would have thought the Hulk would be her kind of guy. Oh well, maybe she learned her lesson!

Of course Laura would pick Superman.. She's very American and Superman (used to be) an American hero.
The Hulk is just an angry mutant

Angry mutants can't be American heroes? Then how do you explain Sylvester Stallone?

> It shows the tragedy of face lifts gone bad.
Do you also make fun of short people? Perhaps point, laugh, and say "haha look at the cripple"?
I thought you were one of those who thought people like Candy Crowley deserve a place in news because there is too much of using looks as a criterion for newscasters. You sound like you'd just look at her and make a fat joke.

Once again, you have made a grievous error. And, I am someone embarrassed for you. Rocky (AKA Stallone) is no mutant. He is all too human. You are confusing him with the robotic Russian, whom Sly fought in Rocky !V.

I thought Stallone was the vet who disemboweled Asian men in the "fictional" Rambo films and Rocky was the muscle man in "The Rocky Horro Picture Show".
My apologies.

Apology accepted. Glad to see you admit your mistakes. Next time it might be wise to write about stuff you know something about!
I could say a lot more, but I am dangerously close to being off topic as it is.

Yes, fictional movie heroes have never been my strong suit.
So Stallone wasn't the burned out war weary vet who created a near genocidal killing wave in the Rambo movies because he was brain damaged from falling down the stairs of the Philadelphia Art Museum?

Ummm...what was the point to this segment?

Actually, I don't think I ever defended Crowley. In the tank for Hillary ...! And, you have to admit, that segment was bizarre. For the life of me, I can't figure out the purpose. There use to be a segment on some comedy variety show, Qui Es Mas Macho? A picture of say Lloyd Bridges and Sebastian Cabot. The contestant was asked who was more macho. The announcer would say yes or no. It was just like this. Were the answers suppose to be amusing? Was the concept funny? Sorry, I just don't understand.
I have during the course of my life made fun of both short people and fat people. I even called a short, fat boy in boarding school Squatty Tubbs. So, I admit it.
I never made fun of crippled people, and I think that is OT.

I thought there was going to be something at the end, like "add up all the times you picked the first selection, divide by three, and you're conservative" or something. I guess this is some kid's game I've never heard of.
There is a Bill Richardson impersonator running lose out there in NM, and he weaseled his way onto H & C tonight. I KNOW this isn't the real BR, because he, along with the other dem candidates, vowed they'd NEVER appear on FNC again because of the network's bias against them (even though BR spent hours and hours on before his candidacy for POTUS).
Again, I am certain that this wasn't Bill Richardson; he was SO ADAMANT that he and the other libs would never appear on Fox again!
Can someone look into this travesty, please?

What the heck is up with Laura not doing her new show on Friday. What, so she fills in for O'Reilly so she can't do her own show?
They had Heather Nauert doing an "America's Election HQ" crap and the lead story wasn't even political: It was the crap about the stupid pregnant teens in Mass.

She had to fill in for O'Reilly on The Factor tonight. Factor tapes around 6:00 pm so she couldn't do both shows.

cornycob, I share in your disgust (if I'm reading you correctly).
For the first time this week, I remembered to tune in today at 5 p.m. Too bad - as you state, it was Heather on the tabloid story of the day.
Laura's program is too new for her to be getting in a substitute alreadyl She has not yet established an audience, and if FNC is going to pull this crap here in the program's infancy, it has little hope of success.
Also, I MISS JOHN GIBSON! Why didn't they put HIM in at 5 p.m, OR let him do the Factor tonight?
Better still, let him take over for Russert! (yes, I'm dreaming, and strayed WAY off topic).

Hey, people here are cable news fans, and we tend to get all worked up over little things like that. But remember that Laura is only scheduled for three weeks, and she had a strong start but dipped on Thursday. I mention that because her show page is still a sub-page under "FNC specials". They aren't ready to make a longer commitment just yet.

If you haven't noticed, people take their Fox News serious. In fact, they take it too serious. snort, snort, snicker, snicker.

Johnny, Greta and Laura are really funny together! FNC ought to consider building some sort of weekend gig around them.
