Fox Nation Promotes Xenophobic Video? Really?
Reported by Priscilla - Fri 7:01 PM

How many lies and distortions can you find in Priscilla's post? First prize is a free dinner with Michael Weston at the famous News Hounds restaurant called Liars Eat Free.

I'll start it off.
Priscilla accuses several Fox hosts of being hate mongers without one shred of documented evidence.

You do know that in the land of the Hens, even discussing a Mexican or a Black on Fox is "racist".

Julie update: under Dr's orders she's easing her way back into work. She will host the Fox Report tonight, then tomorrow she'll have a full schedule (4-6 + FR), and on Monday she'll be back to do The Live Desk.

Misleading Fox Nation Headline Is Obama Smear
Reported by Priscilla - Sat 4:24 PM
========================
Here is the last line on the main screen of this post.

"The headline is a lie; but in Fox Nation, seeing is believing"!

You cannot make this stuff up. It is another great "gotcha" moment.

Good news: John Avlon was on "Fox News Watch" today. I guess he hasn't gone over to CNN full time after all. Rather he's doing what Amanda Carpenter does: appear in weekly segments on various shows on different channels. Right?

This is a huge lie from Ellen at the Kennel. In her most recent lie about J$ and his comments in last weeks FHWiR. Johnny had rebutted Ellens eariler complaint that Cavuto stood by Perry's secessionist comments. Johnny said that Cavuto did not do such a thing, that Cavuto actually challenged those comments.

Now Ellen says the following:

"This time, Koldys is complaining that Fox News didn't "stand by" Perry's secessionist comments. "

That is a lie. This statement implies that J$ is angry with Fox for not standing by Perry's claim.

Lie. Lie. Lie.

Ellen from Newshounds is a liar.

I swear, when I heard the opening of Olberloon's Isn't That Speshul Komment, I was certain he was talking about himself:

"Neurotic, paranoid, false to fact and false to reason, forever self-rationalizing his inner rage at his own impotence, and failure dripping from every word, and as irrational, as separated from the real world, as dishonest, as insane as any terrorist; * the Kountdown host has today humiliated himself beyond redemption."

I'm not sure but I think it was a touch of the flu or something, coming off her marathon run. She was probably run down and susceptible.

BTW good seeing new eps of 'War Stories' this weekend. What a difference between tales of WWII heroism and the 'documentaries' that other channel runs.

Will be in and out for the rest of today and some of tomorrow too, so be patient with moderation.

Olbermann's political contrarians are always saying something so beyond the pale that they should never have the audacity to utter another sentence, in his book.

Keith is exponentially more judgmental and doctrinaire than any Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, James Dobson, et al.

He's become a illiberal fire and brimstone circuit rider.

Cecelia, have some compassion for poor Julie! Wish I could have sampled some of your dinner, I have high expectations of your cooking.

I went to the Megyn/Greta link expecting informed analysis but was directed to a NYT hit piece that describes her as a "spokeswoman for Palin". It's no wonder that rag is doomed.

I'm sure Megyn won't be filling in for Greta on a permanent basis anytime soon considering Megyn's recent "development".

Oh, you would have loved it! Everything fresh and simple!

My avocado salad was fantastic and so was my bruchette with roasted tomatoes, mozzarella, olive oil, and basil! I grilled portabellos too.

Of course we had the usual grilled salmon, ribeyes, burgers and dogs. I made fresh blackberry cobbler.

You really know what to say to a foodie, FF.

No kidding FoxFan, she's got a little one on the way and an hour long prime time show would be pushing this new mother off the edge of a cliff. Just an opportunity for the NYT's to smear Greta, Palin and FoxNews. I don't buy any of it.

From the Greta / Kelly story:

"She [Greta] has interviewed virtually every boldface name in Washington, where her show, “On the Record,” is based. Some of her guests — John Kerry and Rosie O’Donnell, to name two recent examples — are unlikely to appear on the network’s other talk shows."

J$, isn't that blatently false? Haven't both appeared with O'Reilly? Also, I'm pretty sure Kerry has appeared with multiple people whenever he's trying to push a bill or something.

From BRIAN STELTER, who calls himself a reporter of the NY Times's and a supporter of Lucille Ball's, and said he called House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and “told her to keep 'em hanging.” (just copying his writing style):
"...leaves most of the opinion-mongering to her guests."

Q: When is expressing an opinion "mongering?"

A: When a NYT writer disagrees with the opinion.

Rhetorical question: Is using the phrase "opinion-mongering" an example of opinion-mongering?

And, for all you tweeple out there, here's the latest tweets of Mr. Stelter's twittering:

Greta Van Susteren, her husband, Sarah Palin, her husband, and more, in this Monday story: http://bit.ly/ej7k6
about 23 hours ago from web

A big bit of news at the end: Megyn Kelly is the leading candidate to replace Greta in Fox News Channel's prime time. http://bit.ly/ej7k6
about 23 hours ago from web

///snipped twitt///

Today's NYT said Megyn Kelly is #1 candidate to replace Greta Van Susteren on Fox News. Now Greta is running a poll about it: GretaWire.com.
