So good to hear that the Baier's little boy is doing well!

Wonderful story. What a great family. Fox is fortunate to have him on their team.

I whole-heartedly agree with the Mitchell review. She can be mean. She is not a good interviewer, as a rule. But, she has actually been doing her job of late. That's more than I can say for most others, CNN, FNC or MSNBC.

I guess whether you think that Andrea Mitchell is doing a good job vis a vis the content in the article hinges on whether you think it is all right to poke fun at the celebrity status that others have given Obama (not without . . . I think it is safe to say this . . . his encouragement). Or, if you think that doing that (poking fun) is BS (in the words of the author of the article).

Just pointing that out. Don't want to argue the point.

"If somebody is trying to mislead the public — ahem, Barack Obama’s campaign — she (mitch) let’s us know."

This is why mark doesn't care for Andrea. Period.

Ms. Mitchell did her job as a journalist. I commended her for that. She deserved to be commended. I don't care to get into a discussion of the politics supposedly involved, Danny.

And, OS, when I commended Ms. Mitchell for her work, I did so because she was being fair and balanced. When Senator Obama is out of line, she needs to let us know that. I realize fairness and balance is a concept alien to many, but it isn't too difficult to grasp.

Don't know about that Fox News Network does it all the time . . . and a Hell of a lot better than Andrea Mitchell!!

Ms. Mitchell continues to say Obama didn't say McCain would try and make people scared by saying 'He's not like all those presidents on dollar bills,' that Obama said "they're gonna..." even after she showed a clip of Obama saying "Bush and McCain don't have any answers....so they're gonna try to make you scared....by saying...'he's not like all the other presidents..."

Makes ya wanna scream!

Interestingly, H&C pulled almost even with BOR in total viewers and beat him in the demo (whatever the significance of that is).

Danny, I would say viewers just stayed where they were because there was no compelling reason to flip the controller. All this talk about MessNBC surging is a lot of BS, in light of Nancy Grace beating KO in Demo's last night. The end of the election cycle will be the end of the Mess surge, we may even be seeing the prime time fade starting right now.

What a load of crap. Mitchell said on Scarborough that she, and none of the other people covering Obama, saw anything racial in Obama's remarks.

Well of course you didn't. You're in the tank for him. Normal people with functioning brains could clearly distinguish that the candidate who is supposed to be bringing us all together and is "above race" was making a racial distinction.

I saw Mitchell on Morning Joe too and I thought the stupidest thing Mitchell said was that the Obama Campaign made the accusation against McCain because it was heading off OTHER groups who have and would attempt to marginalize Obama by fomenting latent racism.

Well, I've not seen any "groups" doing that, and Obama specifically accused McCain this time, where in the past when he made the accusation he waged it against an anonymous "they". However, all this is beside the point really. I wonder how Mitchell would react is she was accused of fomenting racist divisions within the public in order to head-off some OTHER folks from doing it...

There's a glitch with Internet Exploder that's making it impossible to open many websites. It's connected with the SiteMeter hit-counting link. Solution: until it's fixed switch to Firefox or Safari.
