I gave up on the "Black in America" link when I saw the arrogance of Jon Klein.
MoveOn thinks Jewish people control FNC? I thought they, and the rest of the far-left/anti-Fox movement, thought radical Christians controlled it. I'll never figure them out.
I left a comment for the Hot & Not post at ICN.

Okay, remind again who the Moveon.org talking head on TV is that states nearly nightly about the 'Nazi Bush,' 'Facist Bush' and holds a mask of O'Reilly and give's the Nazi Salute? That is Oral'wo'mann correct? Also isn't Georgie 'War Porfitter Haliburton' SOROS a JEW? Hmmm, must be why HE SOLD JEWS OUT TO THE NAZIS. Face reality, SOROS and his RADICAL FAR-LEFT PUPPET'S despise JEWS yet most are JEWS and only the JEWS that don't buy into his OPEN SOCIETY, aka COMMUNISM, that he want's put on the next train to EXTERMINATION. Wouldn't be the first time for old Georgie to be involved in selling out his race for a buck.

During the 2000 election and through the December appointment of Bush, Brown was the diva covering the news for NBC from Austin. She turned herself into something of a widespread joke in the Austin area - tempermental, surly, given to overstatement, self-aggrandizing. I find her to be a reporter/media personality of limited talent, rather lazy, highly opinionated and vocal in the shrillest sense. She does like herself very well, however. I have no use for her.

The cable news analysis most assuredly did not say cable news was evil, but it did make two (2) valuable points:

The ridiculous repetition of marginally important stories.

Related to that, the tendency to treat all stories as important.

We haven't yet decided just how to incorporate cable news into our lives, so the problems will no doubt be resolved. Still, there is a certain danger to it all.

FIXED!!!!

I am not going to argue the point because that would be off topic. But I felt that was a correction that needed to be made.

You have a right to do so, but it ends here. So any further attempts to sneak politicking into these discussions will be dealt with by me.

That was terrible news about Bob Novak. I hope he'll be okay and there will be a speedy recovery.

I'm having trouble discerning when Keith "wept" his fake tears. Was it on the Chickaboomer site?

I was really shocked by the Daily Kos article. A commenter (sanctioned by the powers that be at Kos) wants to FORCE Jews to wear a Jewish flag on their clothing? Even if we could be certain (and we don't know this for sure) that they are only advocating (for now) that addition to a Jews' apparel for people who appear on cable news shows . . . we don't know that the sanction would end there. If you FORCE Jews to wear a flag when they appear on Cable News shows, soon it will be more acceptable to FORCE Jews to wear the flag in other venues.

How anti American and anti Constitution can you get?

This proposal reminds us of the Nazi's forcing Jews to wear the star of David not just when they appeared on news reels . . . but everywhere. You know how that came out.

Just shows how Nazi-like (and Stalin-like) many at Daily Kos have become. They don't even bother to hide it any more.

There's a link in that article to the video ("via Soup Cans").

Danny: the comment you are talking was at a moveon.org site, not Kos.

This happened on NBC, but my tie in to Cable News is that I wish this guy would show up on an F & F cooking demonstration and do the same thing! How many times have the "friends" talked over their guests so that we could not hear what the guest was saying?

I share your thoughts on Novak, Mike. He has had and will hopefully continue to have a remarkable career. I often disagree with his policy opinions, but he offers a valuable perspective. Many of his columns have little to do with policy, anyway.

I just read the profile of Alisyn. First, I read the TVNewser blurb and then the WorkingMother.com link. It was very nice.

I apologize for my earlier misstatement. Yes it was Moveon.org and not DailyKos who made the shocking comment about Jews being forced to wear a distinguishing symbol on their clothing.

I stand by everything else I said . . . except that I now direct my outrage towards Moveon.org instead of DailyKos.

Speaking of liberal bloggers I note that earlier Newshounds ran an article with this headline:

Robert Novak's Claim Not To Have Known He Hit Pedestrian Disputed
Reported by Ellen - July 23, 2008 - 126 comments

Following the article, there were a number of extremely hateful comments (posted by the usual Newshounds sycophants) directed towards Novak.

I wonder if Newshounds is now going to also report that Novak was very sick when he hit the pedestrian, and that there are salient medical reasons to explain his actions.

I mean Newshounds SAY they are interested in accuracy and fairness, Right?

Well here is another test for them. As usual, I bet they fail the test with flying colors.

Over the weekend, I commented about my dissatisfication over Triumph the Insult Comic Dog attacking BOR on Friday's "Tonight Show." I said that I couldn't finish watching and had lost a ton of respect for Triumph and his creator/puppeteer Robert Smigel. Well, the clip that made me lose the respect is going to be shown in Reality Check on "The Factor" shortly.

The attacks were not shown nor addressed, but the line about cutting his jokes out was.
Today, Cablevision added 15 HD channels. FNC HD is among them. It's quite a difference. But I've only seen two shows in HD: "Fox and Friends" and the "Fox Report." Everything else is in SD. During those hours, the SD feed is put toward the left side of the screen with a wide information bar on the right side. The bar features headlines, business news, Election news, world news, entertainment news, promos, and weather.

That means that it's "fake" HD, recorded with regular definition and interpolated to increase resolution while maintaining the 4:3 aspect ratio by adding filler to the sidelines of HD's 16:9.

Keith's "acting" was terrible. I actually like the soup. They should warn us if the going to put Keith on so we can change the channel.
