I believe most on air talent that leaves FoxNews for another network has made a career mistake. Paula Zhan, Kiran Chetry, Rita Cosby & David Shuster all come to mind, and they all have much lower profiles(not to mention viewers).

Kiran got what she wanted, nice contract, morning job. Of course she had to burn a bridge to get it. But you have to look at it as. Was she going to stay a part timer at FNC? With part timer money? And how long would the CNN gig have been offered to her?
What if she would have stayed at FNC but got cut lose? Then what?
Hey, it's not like she died, She's over at CNN. And the way they are running things over there Kiran will have job security for as long as she wants. She is the only reason to watch CNN in the Morning.
Zahn is done. Isn't Cosby in big trouble over a lawsuit? The only time you might hear her is when she fills in on Steve Malzberg's radio show. And Shuster? Yeah he got fired at FNC.

WOW! Funny how FNC's Washington staff didn't fall apart after he left? But as David did state, his parents wondered how he could ever work at that nasty FNC.
Put it together with a suspension at MSNBC, losing his t.v. show (1600 PA Ave.), now on (17?) twitter silence. I think we see a pattern here.
