Cavuto gets Rather.

Some lefty on some blog will surely attack Dan Rather for going on Fox.

Take it to the bank.

Glenn Beck, Olympics Spoilsport
Reported by Ellen - Thu 10:05 AM
"Patriot” Glenn Beck is so determined to attack President Barack Obama at every turn that he can’t even take pride in his country’s vying to be host for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Instead, Beck used the situation yesterday (9/30/09) to further his witch hunt against Obama and his advisor Valerie Jarrett and to baselessly suggest that bringing the Summer Games to Chicago was nothing more than a cynical ploy to enrich themselves.

I guess Ellen's dog washers forgot to do the research on the Atlanta Olympics. Of course it is just another excuse to attack Fox.

Chicago is one of the most corrupt of our major cities. The Olympics there will make Atlanta look mild in comparison.

Zucker's spin.

Four paragraphs to say nothing, especially nothing to deny the rumors.

Ironically, when I went to the Mediabistro page two banner ads appeared, both for a Resume Writing Clinic.

Great find, Cee.

Who would have thought KO and the Koz Kidz have a brave French Resistance hero reliving his glory days against the new Nazi scourge, Comcast??????

Hope we don't have to huddle in secret like BBC broadcast in occupied Europe to hear your show. Onward, through the fog!

I can't wait for those coded meassages such as - Tante Marie Louise must milk le mouton tomorrow night-repeated very slowly.

BTW, Cee, how do you get your link to bring one to the portion that you are referencing? I don't know how to reference something that is buried midway in a huge piece so that the reader doesn't have to find it.

Thanks

Priscilla @ the pound today suggested that Fox produce a "Ladies Of FoxNews Calender", an idea which I endorse completely. There & Here!

Considering that the mongrels claim that when O'Reilly has Marina Orlova on his show to discuss word origins that constitutes 'pornography', one can only imagine how self-loathing, repressed mutts would sputter about such a calendar. Reason enough to produce one!

Did the representative from florida, I think his name was Luis Guiterrez, say "Joe Wilson didn't lie?" He was on O'Reilly and I couldn't find it on the Fox News site.

I agree on the Ladies of Fox News Calendar. I think it would be a much bigger seller than the Ladies of News Hounds Calendar:

No he said that Obama didn't lie, because the proposed bill did not allow health care to illegals. (That goes against the findings of the Congressional Research Service, which came to the opposite conclusion, but that wasn't brought up.) So the guy was not agreeing with Wilson but rather disagreeing with him. What was odd was that he kept bringing up Wilson at all, since it was really not relevant to the topic at hand.

Thanks Grammie...I just make sure I have the comment I am referencing at the top without anything else above it and copy the link when it is.

Also, I occasionally search Olbermann at kos to keep tabs on his partisan activity and I get the comments he has made in the last week.

I wonder if Olbermann has a different view now that Zucker has spun it as possible that ownership may indeed change.

Mr. Gersen seems to miss the fact that President Obama purposely avoided FNC in his media stops a couple of weeks ago and so encouraged the very state of affairs he laments.

I wonder why that fact was not cogent to the discussion?

I agree cee, with your comment via | 10.01.09 - 3:09 pm | #

However, I will add that it is odd that Gersen writes that "it is good for democracy, and for the ideological sanity of individuals, to read both E.J. Dionne and Charles Krauthammer in the same publication", while neglecting to mention that one of the pundits he accuses of turning "obnoxiousness into celebrity", has liberal (leftist) guests on regularly to provide for the ideological sanity of individuals. That the network he labels as conservative, has had programs like Hannity and Colmes, and has debates on news programs throughout the day, that provide views from both sides of an issue. Typical Fox attacker. It's easy to see that Gersen never watches FNC.

Cavuto is doing a good job with the Rather interview. Rather is making sense, but I don't necessarily agree with him and can't help but wonder if he's also trying to figure out what really happened to that quart of strawberries.

Herman Wouk and Humphrey Bogart fans should understand that last reference.

Priscilla the Palgairist and the rest of the Houndettes seem to have a serious issues with good looking women. Of course their misogynist dog washers follow right along.

Since the scandal started and it was obvious that the "letter" had been typed using the default settings for MS Word, I got the impression from Rather than he was becoming more and more like Captain Queeg.

In reference to the O'Reilly/Comcast piece, I don't see any problem.

Olbermanns comedy show is basically an "attack all things Fox" show mixed with lame bs and an occasional bobblehead. He needs Fox for "ammo" to feed his minions.

On the other hand, O'Reilly doesn't "need" NBC for "attacks" to survive. Olbermann, one trick pony. O'Reilly, not so much.
