Article in the NYTimes this morning about last night's telethon does NOT have nice things to say about Anderson Cooper's participation:  "The most showbiz-y of all was the CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, who chimed in live from Haiti, describing the misery there framed by images of desperation, sometimes with a little too much bathos for a newsman."

NEWS HOUNDS ATTACKS AND SMEARS PALIN FAMILY!!
THEY ALSO ATTACK TONYA REIMAN!

Tonya Reiman's Body Language Analysis of Bristol and Sarah Palin: In Lockstep with Fox' Palin-LoveReported by Julie - January 23, 2010 - Comments

Of course, Julie the Junkie couldn't wait to attack Palin because of her family problems. I'm sure Julie the Junkie has the perfect family but she just never let's her hate of all things Fox get in the way of a good smear.

She admits she knows nothing about Reiman's profession but continues the attacks anyway.

Note to Julie the Junkie. Tonya Reiman is a professional. You are are a hateful loser.

Go back and take care of your own family before casting stones upon others. Coward.

The comments at the Bodacious Bordello of Babes regarding the chart are the usual tripe that comes from the dog washers.

They are unable to dispute the facts. Another great example why liberals fail.

Re Olby: I don't believe his rant is a "blip" Olby tells us how he really feels with those comments. MSNBC unleashed Olby (or Olby unleashed himself) and this is what we get.

Re: History

I'm glad beck did this special and I also wonder if it had anything to do with the upcoming series on showtime called "secret history of America" that Oliver stone is doing. In one of the episodes, Stone is going to put Hitler and Stalin in "context" I called Stone a hitler apoligist which I stick by

Just listen to her interviews.....Republicans get the softball question that let them give the talking point of the day....usually unchallenged....but not always. Then compare that to a Democrat getting interviewed....She's down their throats what ever they say + she tends to give her point of view on matters...which sound very much on the Right.

Johnny...I know the game your wanting to play here....so I'm not say another word on this matter.

They have no rational response so they either demean the messenger or run away and hide. They are unable to answer the question with any sort of logic. Just check the Bodacious Bordello Babes and their dog washers at News Hounds. People who go their to comment get smeared because they say something that the dog washers disagree with. The responses to the poster turns into a smear fest because they are unable to hold a rational conversation.

Olbermann said in part, "In the broad scheme of things, this was a blip on the radar,” said Olbermann, in a telephone interview, citing the multitudinous cases when right-wing talk-show hosts have said much worse."
--------------------------------------

So let me see if I got this right.  Right-wing talk-show hosts have said worse.  So KOKO, the ones that you name "worst person in the world", do it too.  SIR, DO YOU NOT SEE THAT YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE, SIR?  RESIGN, SIR!  Or just commit yourself, SIR!

It's funny that NBC sent a memo out regarding the behavior of their employees only after Olbermann was taken to task by Scarborough and John Stewart.

Where the hell has Griffin been all these years while Olbermann was allowed to spew his venom all over the place?

Olbermann should at least have been suspended for his remarks about Brown. They were down right vile.

Re:  Just stop?

I watched an MSNBC piece the other day about a reporter who was raised in Haiti who went back to look for her former nanny.

It was wonderful that she found her nanny unharmed, but the emotional reunion with the close-up of the reporter's sobbing face was truly cringe-producing.

This ain't Lifetime tv and you're a reporter not a movie star.  Stop!  Just stop!

I hope I haven't missed your link, Johnny, but I wanted to say that Olbermoron has apologized to Jon Stewart for his psychotic paranoiac malevolent behavior of the past week.  Course that's my description-- not his...

Someone at Mediaite wondered why Olbermann would apologize to Stewart rather than to Scott Brown.

Excellent question.  Answer-- because he's only sorry to have been criticised by media liberals, he's not sorry for being a hateful twerp.

For that matter, why doesn't he apologize for comparing Dan Abrams's father to a Nazi? Why doesn't he retract his lie(s) about Scott Brown? Why doesn't he apologize for... wait, I don't have enough server space to truly complete that thought.

What ever happened to that stock market rally that a Brown victory was going to herald in. I seem to remember the Friends & Stuart Varney were pumping their viewers up about how their 401k would skyrocket after a Brown victory.

Charles Payne over at FBC had this to about a Brown win..."fertilizes the soil for an incredible longer-term stock market rally."

Beck thought the market would "go through the roof"

Of course all right thinking folk knew this was all crap and was simply put out there to hype Brown.

The Dow actually dropped a 122 point the day after the Brown victory and continued to drop another 213 points the next day....Lets hope FNC/FBC apologies to their viewers for spinning them nonsense.

I rarely get angry. High blood pressure and all that. Just telling it like it is. Anger is a negative emotion. I try to avoid such things.
But I do like to stir the pot against the liberals once in awhile because I know I won't be getting any rational responses and it shows them
for what they really are.

If I remember correctly, they said it COULD rally. also Jim Cramer of CNBC said almost the exact same thing. They never said it would rally. And speaking of the market, the day after Obama was elected, the market tanked.

Joe Scarborough now works for Keith Olbermann?  TVNewser got a response from Griffin on the Olbermann/Scarobourough tiff.  Here is what is posted:

Griffin responds to TVNewser: “I spoke to Keith and he said in the spirit of teamwork and the free flow of ideas, he didn’t think it warranted punishment or suspension…That’s why I made the decision that this didn’t rise to the level of punishment.” What would have happened if Keith said he did think it warranted punishment or suspension?

So Griffin thinks it is A-OK to slander the Senator Elect (Brown), but has a problem with Scarborough telling Keith he is a clymer and Griffin goes to Keith????  LOL

No wonder Olbermann is such a mad man; he is drunk with power since it appears both Griffin and Scarborough work for Olbermann.  Too funny.

NBC has egg on it's broadcast network face, it cable news face, and its business network face.  The debacle with Conan/Leno, they just spent more than 6 million dollars for a racehorse, broadcast rights, and a very expensive car dressed up like a mouse.  Olbermann shows the world what a hate filled jerk he is.  Imagine calling Floyd Abrams a NAZI!  Now Jim Cramer tells the world there will be a stock market rally with a Brown win, and of course that did not happen.

At least NBC has "The Office", they got that going for it.

Clear thinking people would not blame Payne for "longer term", they would wait long term to determine if Payne was right or not.  3 or 4 days can hardly be considered long term.  It actually was CNBC and Jim Kramer that said that there would be an immediate rally, but of course they are the business network that is going nowhere, FBN is the place to be and the network to watch!
