'He's Not a Mayor; He's the President'

J$P Video! Geraldo likens Bret Baier to Keith Olbermann; Dana Perino disagrees:

From Brian and the Judge, March 19 2010

Danny
Geraldo made my blood boil, so I guess that is good TV.

This clip completely undermines the idea spread by News Hounds, Media Matters, and other liberal groups that nobody at Fox likes Obama and that all of the hosts and pundits and newscasters have the same opinion.

I wonder if Obama will insist that Geraldo will conduct any future interviews that Obama may graciously (sarcasm) deign to give to Fox.

I don't agree with Geraldo about this. Every politician should be taken to task. President or not. The man is supposed to be highly educated, for crying out loud.

Maybe Brett should have let him use his teleprompter.

The News Puppies are at it again. Another lying headline.

Bill O’Reilly Advances Christian Right Attack On Girl Scouts & Planned Parenthood.

In no way did O'Reilly attack the Girl Scouts. Just another smear from the lovely Priscilla. It never ends.

But, HEY! This is what they do.

Geraldo is an idiot and maybe the WON should try standing up and telling the truth for a change.

He's the President! He can't handle hard questions and being interrupted?  Boo-frickin-Hoo!  Brett was awesome and showed the MSM how to conduct a real interview with this President.

Well I bitched for years that I wanted the MSM to do this to Bush and his people.....so I can hardly bitch now that my guy is in the Whitehouse.

Some did this durring the Bush years.....most didnt.

It was funny that people at KOS were very upset last night.....the same people who bitched about the media not doing this for Bush......I couldnt help but LOL.

Yea I’m a Democrat...not many here but some. I’m also from IL and I’ve voted for Obama 4 times.

I made calls for him when he was running for Senate....but to be honest I had to keep a card with his name on to stop myself from saying Osama. Id never even heard of him. I can’t tell you how many Democrats I reached who thought it was a crank call. I met him and have a photo on my wall with him here in Bloomington.

As for Kos they felt Fox was 2 hard on BO....of course I saw many posts during the Bush years that reporters should rip Bush a new one.....its just more hypocrites.

Here’s a few Kos posts…..If it was Bush they would be telling us its about time,. I thought it was really good……and I would have liked to see them do a bush interview like that more often.

Obama talked over Bret the entire interview, he did not allow Bret to finish asking a question, BO said what he wanted to say period.  The interview was a total waste of time all ONE sided, it was as bad as the Beck/Massa interview, a waste of time

Geraldo on the other hand is a big LIB, his ideas on Illegal Immigrants are ridiculous. Why this man has any credibility is beyond me.  I have become a big fan of Lou Dobbs radio talk show, he is a very smart and level headed guy.

And Geraldo, you are not a journalist, your a liberal hack.

The President isn't a god or even more important than an average citizen.  And like us, he'll get respect when he finally earns it.  But as long as he continues to lie and decieve, he doen't deserve much of anything.

And what is Bret supposed to do when Obama wants to take an hour talking to avoid answering a question?

Bret did a good job interviewing and American citizen.

I disagree with Geraldo, but I have nothing against him...or Bernie Goldberg, who also had a problem with the interview.  I still like them both.

Lucy, let me give you a hint here. It is not the job of the press to coddle our politicians.

As far as Bush goes, he was not one to drone on and attempt to monopolize the conversation as Obama did.

I'm shocked, shocked I say, that a mere journalist would actually try to get answers, answers from the leader of the free world, the uniter in chief,  the most intelligent president of all time, to the questions asked.  Which of the two showed a lack of respect for the other?  An invitation was made by the White House to the FNC.  An invitation for a member of a free and unfettered press to come into the house of the People and to conduct an interview, presumably one that would include questions on the issues of the day.

Geraldo reminds me of a guy who set up a prime time excavation into Al Capone's vault, and found an empty bottle of gin.

He also reminds me of a guy who got his nose broken by a guest while hosting an assanine talk show.

He also reminds me of this guy who was giving away military positions and endangering troops with his live coverage during the Iraq War.

Finally, reminds me of this nutjob that was ranting about canabalism at the New Orleans Convention Center during Hurricane Katrina (there wasn't any canibalism.)

I wonder what ever happened to those guys who remind me of Geraldo.

Geraldo never does a report or an interview without trumpeting his "journalistic" resume; who he's interviewed, his history of filing reports from exotic locations, in dangerous situations, and worst of all, the name dropping of whom he spoke to "the other night."

I believe Dana has found her voice at Fox News, similar to her experience as White House Press Secretary.  Starting slowly, learning the ropes, identifying the pitfalls, gaining knowledge and confidence with every outing.  I predict good things ahead for the talented Perino.

Perino is a much better Fox commentator than WHPS. She could never top Ari Fleischer, who was my favorite WHPS in my (still relatively young) life.

She's a Fox if I ever saw one, and a smart one.

Geraldo's a moron; that's for sure.

I can't even dream of watching the video that J$ posted; I'm sure I'd throw something at my monitor.  Geraldo is a typical liberal, always taking the side of the guy who is wrong.  Geraldo cares more about protocol that in getting the truth out to 300 million people who will be adversely affected by this monstrosity of a health care bill.

He's an idiot.
