"Mr. Colmess conservative counterpart for the last 12 years, would become the sole host of the hour. The people requested anonymity while speaking about private deliberations."
I don't mean to blow my own trumpet here....but I did predict this outcome yesterday.
Something just smells fishy about this whole thing...Hannity signs a new contract and then a week or so latter Colmes is out...Very fishy indeed. There's more to this story than 1st meets the eye.

Wonder if they're planning to make Hannity the conservative alternative to Olbermann and Maddow.
Especially since we now have a Democratic administration and House and Senate, so it'll soon be kinda counter-cultural and cool to be a unrepentent conservative.
O'Reilly's sort of Chris Mathews and Kelly and Hemmer sort of Mika and Joe.

FBN will never be successful, no thanks to eternal (like till the network is discontinued) holdouts like Dish Network and CABLEVISION! I want to call them again to demand they add it, but I know I'd get another apathetic jerk of a customer service rep.

MSNBC handily beat FNC during the 5-11pm time slots Saturday night.
I'm speculating here...But if Huckabee's numbers don't pick up...I think Colmes will be getting that time slot soon.
I watched Huckabee once and found it to be very grandfatherly...Not my cup of tea.

MSNBC doesn't run news or analysis in those time slots. Just reruns of prisons and predators. To me that's just not much different from CNBC showing repeats of 'Deal or No Deal'.

What can we say, Johnny? Train wreck TV gets ratings from the younger crowds.
I left a comment at the TVNewser "three strikes" link. I said that Pres-Elect Obama not taking questions from FNC will likely be the norm for the next four to eight years he's in office. Then, I listed a series of shows I expect him to appear on for one-on-one interviews, and shows he'll avoid (they were all on FNC).

Johnny, you are right....but that doesn't come into the advertisers equation...Eyeballs are king in their world...Especially the 25-54 demo.

Colmes is leaving the show so he doesnt have to hear all of the "I told you so's" from Hannity when people start to find the truth about Obama.

Re: "The ideal Christmas gift": Give it to someone you really don't like...or to your far-left friend...or to your moderate left friend that is sympathetic to far-left causes and likes far-left bomb throwers that fly in the face of their successful competitors.

I visit places like the plate-busting business in the embedded video at least once a month. They're called firing ranges!
At the good (less regulated) ones, you can put trinkets or bottles downrange and blow them up from a distance. It's like plate busting but 100X better.

So KO was back on Countdown last night and guest host Laura Ingraham was up against him mano on mano. She kicked his ass on the demo ratings and scored a million more viewers than he did. Happy Thanksgiving to all!.

I believe he is leaving because we have a Democrat in the White House as of January 20 and his job is done. Leave on top. And when Obama proves that he will be a great president, he really doesn't want to hear Hannity whine like a little girl every night.

Phil, I'd wager that you and Tony will differ on how great or poorly Obama does as a President. You will both be right in your own minds. You each have self-fulfilling prophesies!
