Poor Alan Colmes. He simply does not understand the term, "professionalism."
Ms. Ifill is a professional, a journalist. Full disclosure is expected and not the responsibility of those participating in the debate. Politicians do not perform "oppo" research on debate moderators, thank goodness.
John McCain has been out saying he feels Ms. Ifill will be fair. However the problem is the viewing audience deserves to know the financial conflict of interest that exists currently for Ms. Ifill. She should announce her book deal at the beginning of the debate. That would be the professional behavior one should expect from a respected and talented journalist.
The problem is not her being moderator, the problem is the lack of transperancy in regards to journalism standards and full disclosure of any conflict of interests.

I can't get the Doocy video to play so I'm not sure what an outrageous lack of sensitivity he showed, but I sure hope it was an especially shocking one.
