I too was surprised that Bill Sammon made such a sweeping statement describing the MSM treatment of the Tea Party and especially such a strong word as "hate". That said, I would be hard pressed to think of just ONE positive treatment by the MSM of the Tea Party much less two and although "hate" is a bit strong there are many synonyms for "hate" that would be connotatively and denotativly accurate.
As for the "only two positive stories" if Sammon was so completely "ridiculous" why didn't VanDeHei simply volunteer three such examples. Since he didn't, O'Reilly should have asked VandeHei to name three such pieces of postive MSM treatment.
If VanDeHei could have named three positive, or even just neutral, stories he would have prevailed. If not, it would remain at least an open question pending time for VanDeHei to research it.
I do hope O'Reilly follows up on this story. I would like to see Bill Sammon on with BOR to discuss it further.

Unless he cited sources some other time and I missed it, O'Reilly didn't even have facts to back up the "2 positive stories" point, he just kept yelling it. I don't believe him. There is a lot of media out there. And furthermore, if journalists are being journalists, why should they be doing positive stories about Tea Parties or anything else? They should be doing fair/neutral stories. And if that's what is happening, that's not hate, it's journalism.

Bill O’Reilly, Bernie Goldberg Laugh About Domestic Violence And Feminist “Bozos”Reported by Priscilla - February 9, 2010 - Comments (5) As usual, the Hideous Hen House has produced another lying headline. There was no "domestic violence" in the Tebow ad. This sinply is another attempt to smear Fox. I have read some stories about the Betty White ad where these radical women's groups compare it to "violence against women".Along with the whinng women of News Hounds, these groups need to get a life and start doing things that have some meaning in their sorry lives. They are televison ads, people!!! Find someting constructive to do.Pitiful, pathetic group of screeching, screaming feminist who have noting better to do that to look for something that is not there. They should join Peta and kill a cow.

Newhounds is really educational. I had no idea that the domestic violence issue was about sons being violent towards their mothers. I thought it was about something else. What a bunch of jerks these Newshound biddies are!

The News Hounds post had nothing do do with vilence of any kind. They are Fox haters plain and simple. They lie. They distort, They plaigarize. And the more the left attacks Fox, the higher the ratings. Come November, these two bit bloggers will be whining about the election results. News Hounds will be lucky if they last beyond 10 more years. They contribute nothing.

Blackflon, I also agree that some women's organizations did not make a good decision here in making that critique of the Tebow ad. OK then. But to go from that, to accusing them of being "radical" and their words as "screeching, screaming," and having "sorry lives" is unfair. I am a feminist myself and it is all too typical that when others disagree with what some women are arguing, they start characterizing them as screeching harpies. And I don't like it, and I think it hurts all women. I certainly disagree often with conservatives like Monica Crowley and Laura Ingraham, but I don't call them that when I disagree (and I know some liberals do, and they're wrong to do it).

al in dc, I respect your position but I will not become politically correct at this stage in my life because someone is offended. My remarks were targeted to the few who continue to make fools of themselves and not to all women. I love women, I love good looking women.I love fat women, I love skinny women. I love ugly women. If men had made those remarks, I would have said the same thing. I am an equal opportunity insulter. Of course I don't love men. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Reference the Florida Showdown. I am a resident of South Florida and a family member of a State employee. After what Rubio has done to the State employees, if he wins the primary, this republican will be voting democrate.
