I ended a post about News Hounds yesterday with the comment "You can't fix stupid".

Along comes little johnt with his usual irrational response. Instead of refuting any facts he gives us this gem;

"You're quite right hypocrite houndy. No drugs will fix your stupity."

"Stupity"???? And he accuses Grammie of drinking too much?

This is too rich. LOL!!!!!!

It's understandable B - John T is working overtime, he really wants to win the "Who's dumber: The Li'l feller or John T" contest.

Olbermann is a hypocrite.....

Recall what he said when Bush met with Hannity et al back in 2006.....

"The born again and the born talkers: The President takes 90 minutes worth of your taxpayer dollars to entertain right-wing radio yackers in the Oval Office,"

And this really is a treat.....

"In January, the President consulted with 13 former Secretaries of State and Defense about Iraq, spoke for 40 minutes, allowed discussion for 5 to 10 minutes. The figures for the 5 conservative radio show people is double that. is there an explanation of that that does not include the President using the Oval Office for purely political purposes and even indirectly for political fund-raising?"

###
It seems Olbermann may have no problems now with presidents using the Oval Office for purely political purposes because those purposes have a different goal.....

Hypocrite.

By the way, did anyone over that the hounds stick up for Juan Williams when he was racially attacked?

The hounds never reported it. I wonder why? They claim they "watch" fox so we don't have to" which is down right laughable now

Ashley, now you know why Marc Lamont Hill didn't suddenly show up on Countdown with Olbermann.

Watching FNC - Another ACORN video compliments of O'Keefe and Giles. The vid purportedly debunks ACORN Philadelphia's claim that they threw the pair out of the office then later filed a police report. If this video is accurate, than someone at ACORN could be in trouble for filing a false police report.

FNC also had tape of O'Keefe speaking at a Press Club (maybe in Philly), very powerful stuff as he said publically to the press, "Acorn Lied to you, Bertha Lewis lied to you, etc."

Agreed B, but while the li'l feller may be insane, he's quite stupid too.

This week he's making the false claim that Cheney told Olbermann and Maddow to "shut up". He's making the false claim that F&F called Obama "unamerican". A few weeks back he made the false claim that BOR caused Dr. Tiller to commit suicide. Then he falsely claimed that Olbermann has a pulitzer prize.

Just like John T, Patrick just never quite gets anything right. It's going to be hard to select a winner in their contest.

I'm told the lil feller is now back at his own sewer, admitting that yes, he was here crossdressing as someone else yesterday. You may remember Stlindahouse, who lied about Fox & Friends and got sent to Exile Island for refusing to admit an error. That was the lil feller! Who knew? (Oh, just about everyone!) It sure didn't take him long to get caught in another lie, did it?

Interesting Z on TV article.

One of the comments, from "Beth" was very interesting. I excerpted one paragraph. I think it is an example of the common denominator which connects many of the Fox Haters.

"I have never been a viewer of Fox News as I don't find them fair or balanced and I think it's a shame that they continue to spew that they are fair and balanced."

Very telling, they NEVER watched, but know all about it. Another person who lets others do their thinking for them.

Re: ACORN

There's no doubt that ACORN has long used their mantle of helping the needy as a cover for running an organization that is at best slipshod, at worst corrupt.

However, what strikes me with this video is that so many folks have gotten to the point where they feel some sort of societal pressure to suspend judgment over ANY behavior having to do with sex.

I think that factor is partly why you could have this obviously non-street savvy kid, clad in what amounts to a Halloween costume, walk into ACORN and be taken seriously. Taken seriously to the point of being assured that there would be no discrimination against what is, after all, still a criminal enterprise in most states.

When you add the component of some of these ACORN people being told that under-aged foreign sex slaves would be involved, the 'liberality...factor' gets even more mind-boggling.

I like John Stossel. I remember seeing him get slapped to the floor by a pro wrestler one time. Stossel had asked him if wrestling was fake.
How do you make Stossel uncomfortable? Set him down on the Glenn Beck show and let him try to make a point or finish a sentence. As a big fan os Stossel, it was painful to watch. GB constantly interupted him, made funny faces, mugged to the camera and basically used Stossel as an audience for him.

Was that Mrs Imus spouting about vaccines on Hannity tonite? Sorry, I don't share your enthusiasm. If she wants to talk rights, no mandatory vaccines, etc, that's fine by me. But to pretend like vaccines are some undiscovered evil will, if people listen to her instead of their doctors, just result in more dead people. Sorry to go off topic just a bit.

This anti-vaccine movement is making for some strange bedfellows; Mrs Imus, Glenn Beck, Bill Maher. Weird.

I didn't like her vaccine "rant" either. She got some good digs in on nbc/msnbc, though. They had to have their finger on the "dump" button towards the end!

J$, you gotta check out KO tonight. In his "best person segment" (I think it was best... could have been worst... who the h3ll can tell the difference?) he talked about how "unlike FNC, when he does opinion he states it as such... but has more facts on his program, than FNC does in their whole day." The quote is really pretty great... and just oozes with self satisfaction, egotism, and an amazing sense that he actually believes the crazy words posted on his teleprompter.

An instant classic.

It is interesting that the vaccine issue does seem to cut across ideological lines....I mean even Limbaugh and Maher on the same page! I think it stems from the government recommending it (or even requiring it) and those with privacy or autonomy concerns don't like that trend.

The science is pretty good regarding the safety and efficacy of these vaccines going back almost 60 years now. I wish those who usually regard scientific method as sound argument would allow it to also be trusted in this debate as well. I've gotten my H1N1 and seasonal flu immunizations, as has my 4 year old, and we both feel fine.
