Johnny....I think you need to recheck that and amend your headline.

Since the Xmas day attempted bombing the Friends have been outraged that the terrorist got read his miranda rights after 50 minutes. But after testimony yesterday it appears he is spilling his guts to the authorities....which the friends wanted in the 1st place....But of course this isn't good enough for the friends now....There now worried about a deal being made and that they didn't get the intelligence fast enough...In other words the Administration can't win with these 3 chumps.

I first saw them when there were quite a few but didn't read them at the time. Just bookmarked the page so I could scan them later. When I went back to check, they had almost all vanished. If it was deliberate and not a glitch my guess would be that they could have been some sort of violent wish-fulfillment sick stuff. Any site (except maybe newshounds) would want to delete that stuff before anyone saw it. But I didn't get to read them before they vanished so that's just speculation.

FNC once again cut the live feed of The President...during his town hall meeting in New Hampshire yesterday. They gave it 40 minutes out of the total run time of 1hr 15mins....so they could get a critic of the President on-air...Dr. Marc Siegel...he started bashing immediately....The fat controller no doubt gave Marc a double thumbs up for his efforts.
Thankfully CNN don't play games like this and ran the event entirely for their viewers.
MSNBC cut away after 55mins...still a lot better that the messily 40mins FNC gave their viewers.

Thanks for rewording that report, but if we wanted to read Raw Story we could do it ourselves. I find it very generous of Fox to give Obama 40 minutes and only three to an opposing point of view from an indisputable expert. It's that sort of willingness to go the extra mile to be fair to the President that makes FNC the most trusted name in news.

Re:  MSNBC's Baghadad Bob

I wish I could find the link, but there was a classic piece on Olbermann in the New York Observer a couple of years ago.

In it was a quote from MSNBC honcho and Olbermann enabler Phil Griffin who compared their relationship to that of an abused wife (in the most beastly stereotyped sort of way) with Griffin as the wife and Olbermann as the smart guy who leads this wife a life but who makes up for it by being so smart and witty.

Whenever I read such things as Griffin saying "Keith didn't think the remark merited punishment" (as Griffin commented recently on the Scarborough Twitter), I remember his abused wife analogy and cringe.

Haggis, if you want to talk about not being heard, may I remind you that you once smeared Bret Baier claiming he had said something bad on Fox, but you didn't tell us what that was. You said you would look into it and let us know.  You were repeatedly reminded by me to keep your committment.

As of today, you still have not told us what this "bad" thing was that Bret Baier had said.  You have also not retracted your smear.

Until you resolve this, I think many would agree that you have no credibility in accusing anyone else of not listening.

This would just eliminate the middle man of you having to change a preposition or a punctuation mark. Note also how Blackflon's quotes usually are from attacks on this site and/or people who write/comment at this site. I certainly have no problem with you quoting attacks on this site if your purpose is to debunk them. Or if your purpose is to agree with them and you include proof that they are correct. As in all matters, it's a judgment call. I won't link to his comedy skits, even tho I got requests to link to his takedowns of 1 Fox, B. Olbermann C. CNN, etc. The only time I'll link to his show is when an actual cable news person goes on and even that I do only because I have to. And Stewart's interviews are often heavily edited, with literally more taken out than actually airs. How easy to make someone look stupid! Bah.

Did anyone else cover the Andrew Young Book but Hannity?  Would have been better if we had been told the truth about Edwards while it was going on.  Many in the liberal media knew what was happening but sat on the story.  Just shows how left leaning the liberal media is as a whole.  Fox does not follow the herd and that makes Haggis mad.  Poor baby.

Fox and Friends had him on this morning.  All I can say is truth is definitely stranger than fiction in this case.

In response to a Kilmeade question about Young's belief, which he had obviously made public, that  his life was in danger Yoong responded yes b/c Edwards was very powerful and had extremely powerful connections around the world (mentioned Russian billionaires here) but that now his book was public he and his family were safe from that threat.  Then they went on to other aspects of the story.

I was absolutely floored that that exchange was so matter of fact and didn't deserve a lot more probing.

It is definitely a strange story with strange, unpleasant and sleazy characters in it.

The only exciting thing Stewart would do in the Oval Office is to practice faces, FF.

On Mediaite they have a thread where they breathlessly blog that Stewart called himself a journalist. Within the blog they later say that Stewart was probably referring to Brian Williams (who he was interviewing) as being a journalist, but just might have been calling himself that...

The video makes it utterly clear that he was talking about WIlliams.

Mediaite will blog any crap just to put up a picture of Stewart.

Stewart is NOT a journalist. He is a comedian. Funnier than Al Franken ever was.

I think Gutfeld is better at ad libbing.

Let me take this one step further. I liked seeing Jon (thank you CC) spar with O'Reilly, but I'd love to see Olbermann on BOR.

I like politics and I like potiticking. It was a near perfect storm.

Agreed, Gutfeld is funnier than Franken or Stewart.

Just the thought of being on set with O'Reilly, causes Keith to lock himself in the bathroom and wallow in the tub for 12 or so  hours.

Johnny, I have a request to make that I hope you will consider.

One thing that I really enjoy about your site is the blessed relief from the ad nauseum repetition of those stale used to death witticisms such as Faux News, Fox Noise, Bill Orally  etc.

Could you add teabag, teabagger and teabagging to your banned list?  I think we've all been sufficiently dazzled by the banal mindless repetition from our less sophisticated and creative commenters to last a lifetime.
