The dust up between Olbermann and Mediate.com is starting to get interesting. It shows just how thin skinned KO really is. He must troll all the relevant media & political websites looking for criticisms of himself.(I bet he reads J$) How pathetic!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Oreilly do the same thing? I've heard on some shows Oreilly receives a folder with all the media mentions of him and he responded to them on the air. I think not so much now I know that I've heard him say it before

Mediaite finally realized Keith lost it? Better late than never.

Olby Sucks
Olbermann opened hi big mouth, got called out on his lies and is just flailing in the wind, now. Bringing his own father in and using him as a political pawn is just pathetic, too.

Are you truly surprised, OS?
KOKOKlown (thks Patsy & Flucker, it's fun coming up with KKK smears) has shown us for years that pathethic defines him.
I wonder how the rest of the family reacts to KKK (brevity, ya know) dragging his helpless dying father thru the public glare just to camoflage his pitiful wimp out from a well deserved challenge by the Dallas Tea Party.

I see that MSNBC is not covering the Health Care Summit. They are covering hockey instead.
So much for the leftists screeching at Fox News.
What say you News Mutts??
Next time Ellen and her dog washers haul that complaint out they will look like fools.

My guess is that FNC will get Pounded for not covering the Olymic Games more extensively just because it's on NBC and its cable outlets.

No Oreilly does not do the same thing. Oreilly invites them on his show. Does Olby do that???? I would pay to see Olby invite Michelle Malkin on the show for a live debate. No teleprompters, no script. Good God I would PAY to see that!

Well hi Tony. It's good finally to meet you online. You might be interested in knowing that the vile she-dogs in the pound have determined that you and I are the same person.
How did they come to this conclusion? Well, they have been so interested in me that they have located where I have posted elsewhere on the web. They have rightly determined that I am a Dallas Cowboy Football fan.
Thus, I sometimes represent myself as you, Tony, because I like Tony Romo. Bet you didn't know that you and I are the same peson did you Tony? Bet you didn't know that Tony stands for Tony Romo. Our being the same person is probably about as true as anything else they have said. What a bunch of morons!!

Absolutely right, Tony. I'm watching Kucinich on O'Reilly right now. I wonder when KO will have Ron Paul on? Even if he did, O'Reilly let Kucinich have his word and didn't argue with him at all. KO would be condescending and as loud as possible with Paul. Completely different mentalities.

FF, whenever I've seen Olbermann contradicted (by anyone other than Chris Matthews) he grew quiet and sulky, rather than the reverse.

No one at CNN remembered that Coney Island is not in Antarctica? No curiousity how something found in the ground, or in floor tiles, or elsewhere in a building would have just a tad bit of trouble staying frozen during those 40 degree Brooklyn days, those 50 degree Brooklyn days, those 60 degree Brooklyn days....THOSE 100 DEGREE BROOKLYN DAYS???????
Reminds me when Joe Scarborough was reporting that Arnold Schwartzenegger had a plan to blow up the moon.

Anyone who has loved a parent and lost one cannot help but feel sympathy for Keith Olbermann. I pray that the Lord will be near him during this time.
That said, his special comment about his father just gives me the creeps.

This is my comment about it, Cecelia, at TV Newser:
My feelings for Mr Olbermann in his long hard illness are sadness for him and his family and hopes that the remaining time for him will be as peaceful and pain free as possible.
My husband and I took care (AT HOME) of his mother for 10 years, MY FATHER (at home) for seven years and my mother (AT HOME) for four years until his death and I alone for two years (AT HOME) until she died in my home at age 100.
Believe me I know all the demands and pain that comes with that situation and I genuinely feel for anyone else in the situation.
That said, I don’t use the particulars from all those hard painful years in a public setting to settle scores and make political points. KOKOKlown has brought this scorn upon himself and he SICKENS me.

God Bless you Grammie, it takes a special person to care for a loved one in the final years. I would say you have "earned" your right to pontificate on KO's "situation" with his father.

I lost respect for Mediaite when I found that they let The Fetid One run free there for a while, but good on them for pointing out the non-story from The Hill that tried to portray FNC brass as Luddites. My work doesn't allow any kind of IMing either, and it's a cutting edge tech software company.
Technically, it takes more tech to block IM than to leave it open!

I missed that, thank God.
Patsy and Flucker are bad enough but I guess they are better at skirting the boundaries to the n/th degree.

Re: Dollars link to pundits interrupt summit. I read some of the comments, and at least two said they switched to Fox because the talking heads on the other channels kept interrupting the summit.
Is that true? Did Fox have better ratings than the other netwokrs for that reason?

Ratings won't be out until tomorrow at the earliest, but it seems likely FNC will top the other cable news channels as they do on a 'normal' news day.
