'Support Him When I Can, Oppose Him When I Must'

J$P Video! Glenn Beck previews his new FNC hour:

From The Live Desk, January 19 2009

With Ramos and Compean having their sentences commuted today, with the inauguration tomorrow, Beck certainly is starting on quite a day. I read in another thread that R & C would be guests on Beck today, I hope that is true. Regardless, looking forward to Beck.

(glenn beck) hes a gesticulating know it all; never said anything insightful. he thinks its insightful to call blue blue and red red. he adopted a religion (mormonism, hah) seemingly by picking the first church he came to on the road. the man whines at hemmorhoids like hes dying. his tone of voice is condescending; as in hes talking to children. hes not funny either.

becks opinion is all he offers and its nothing special. guilfoyle, gibson or someone should have her own show not this doughboy fatboy.

Did anyone watch Countdown to Keith Olbermann tonight? It was the most disgusting, vile and hatred that Keith Olbermann spewed towards President Bush and his Administration. He compare the suppose torture in Gitmo to slavery, segregation, WWII and Hitlers attempted extermination of Jews. And this week, America celebrates LIBERATION why comparing to George W. Bush to second-world communism, or the dictatorship of some third-world bannana republic. The Che losers at the Daily Ko just cam in their pants over this right now... God help us that we have to live 4 years of this...

What studio is he using? Is that a different angle of the Fox Report studio? Studio E i think...

Brace yourself, ZD.

We've lived through eight years of this already.

Olbermann is an ignorant and moronic narcissist for life. No way around that. That's something that can't change with presidents...

What's changed is that now he's not able to say that he's "speaking truth to power". He's now spinning for power.

The realities of closing Gitmo, and of settling on hard fast rules as to interrogation techniques, of leaving Iraq, of monitoring things and people for information about terrorists, etc... are coming to call.

"Mr. Bush" will give way to some new Republican pariah for Mr. Olbermann, no doubt. But still.... Keith Olbermann is going to find himself in the position of having to spin to the Kos Kids. Of having to spin for "the man" to the left.

I can't think of more appropriate fate for him than that.

Joe, here's a video where Glenn Beck gives a tour of his studio:

Maybe you can figure out from that if it's the Fox Report studio. If I got it right, it is not the same studio as Hannity's.

I think it is the Fox Report studio - but the opposite angle.

GlennBeck.com has a photo essay of the first day and you can see the huge block screen they use for FoxReport -

Hannity and FoxReport do not use the same studio. I dunno the studio numbers. I know one of them is Studio E - just not sure which one.

Not conservative - not by a long stretch, but how can anyone tolerate Glenn Beck? Gah - the guy is unlistenable. His "humor" is unfunny, and what's with that perennial smirk? Hater had it right - he is completely vacuous. I thinn this one is worse that Hannity. I actually think I listen to Beck more that any of the others just out of sheer "how the heck can anyone take this clown seriously or even tolerate more than a minute of him?"-ness. There's lowest common denominator, then there's LOWEST common denominator. Seriously, conservatives, what do you see in this guy?

Eh - horses for courses, I guess.

Will Keith Olbermann finally hold his ideological cohorts in the Washington DC ruling class accountable for pursuing his clarion call for prosecutions?

I remember 2006 when Keith Olbermann was calling for the end to the Iraq War, impeachments, criminal prosections, as did his candidates, and yet?.....Oh well, he let them off the hook for not pursuing those agenda items.

Keith Olbermann is a fool. To even suggest that George Bush and his administration did anything remotely wrong in kind to the Nazis shows how deep the ideological hatred runs and why this brief moment of "unity" and good will will soon evaporate.

I recall the looney left's predictions of Bush pardoning Scooter Libby (there are still 2 more hours Keith!).....Even that move would not have made the comparison to such things as slavery and Watergate appropriate.

COUNTDOWN to idiocy, indeed.

I hope Glenn Beck's show is a smashing success. See how you have distain for KO? Well that's how "The Normal Majority" views your RW media mullahs y'all so worship. Only they've got a cable news station devoted to them and a strand of the public airwaves, AM (hate-jock) radio. The more high-profile your loudmouth half-nuts RW hate mongers are - the Coulters, Limbaughs, O'Reillys, Becks, Hannitys, Michael Weiners et. al., the more the Normal Majority is disgusted with the Right - especially the Obama generation. Do you really want these clowns being "the face" of the RW? Do you really want people to think of "Hannity" or "Glenn Beck" when they think of what a Republican is and what they represent? Your media mullahs of RW hate radio, your little cult, will soon look mighty foolish when juxtaposed against the calm, cool, collected, and super intelligent Obama... just like during the election when assorted RW nitwits were playing the laughable, pathetic, and desperate "guilt by association Obama is a terrorist" game with your ridiculous and ascinine accusations that he "palled around with terrorists" because he happened to serve on one of (R) Annenberg's charitable organizations with William Ayers PhD a decade earlier.
|
By the way, your media mullahs? They're really parasites sucking the life right out of the Republican party, serving to marginalize it due to their "side show" and "shock jock" tactics needed to draw attention to themselves for ratings and book sales. With every little "shock jock" publicity stunt, it's another cut to the credibility of the Republican party. Your "Coulters" are killing the Republican party - now largely marginalized and considered a joke with nary any credibility, by death by 1000 cuts. Any fool can plainly see this... They're doing the Republican party no favors... And before you bring up "KO" for every one "KO" there are scores of RW loudmouth lunatics paraded on Fox "News" and AM hate jock radio every day - each trying to out nitwit and out blowhard the other.

Ratings are meaningless. I'm sure The Weekly World News has higher circulation than any number of credible publications. Its circulation numbers don't lend its content of "Batboy" stories more credibility.

Ratings are meaningless?

Funny, it always seems that way to some until someone at msdnc gets a little close or beats someone in the demo then they will use the all 'IMPORTANT' ratings to scream things like "FAUX NEWS IS GOING DOWN!!!!!!!!!!"

FNC? Not important? tell that to advertising folks.

BTW has anybody noticed that the Mandow replay gets beat a lot by 'Showbiz Tonight' on HLN? So does that mean folks on the 'left coast' are more interested in hearing about Paris Hilton than listening to 'Mr. Know-It-All'?
