If you had an Ironical Comment of the Day award, you'd have to give to Chris Matthews over his commence address ode to the importance of listening to others... :D

Unfortunately, the radical left has all but hijacked Melanie's petition. Too bad.
How should I take the Pravda diss? I think the overall ratings--that aren't based solely on primary nights--prove them wrong. Right?

Did you just read that liberal spin by that hack Columbia Professor?
The only reason CNN is beating FNC on those election days is because of the fierce fight between Obama and Clinton.
So where are all these liberals going to tune into for the Democratic Primary in a Democratic year?
CNN is going back in the dumps really really bad when McCain wins in November and liberlas are too crushed to even watch tv for 6+ months lol.

Re: Obama blaming Dobbs and Rush for "hate crimes" against illegals:
This is from "Steamboat" at Huffington Postl I love it!
"Talk about hypocrisy !
Here in Chicago, we use to have a Black racist Alderwoman named Dorothey Tillman. Who got up on the Chicago City Council and screamed, "The Voting Rights Act ONLY pertains to African-Americans and not those Mexicans." ....Barack Obama endorsed her for re-election AFTER she made this insulting comment. Even Jesse Jackson Jr. knew better then that and endorsed Tillman's opponent because of Dorothey's hateful comments.
Obama needs to look in the mirror first."

After reading that KO will make yet another special comment, I am convinced that this is the left loon push to get Hill to retire from this race. Clinton was just using the RFK assassination as a sort of historical data point in her reference to 1968. She could have chosen her words better; but c'mon.
It would have served no purpose otherwise.
Olbermann will pull one of his holier-than-thou stunts tonight with all of the theatrical looks into the camera and pauses and angle shots included.

Was Jane Fleming Kleeb ("Klehb") on "America's Election HQ" earlier? Oh, well. I hope things are going well for her out in Nebraska. And I mean that sincerely. It's hard to suddenly give everything up and move away. I'm slightly considering it myself (not to Nebraska, but Florida), but at the same time, I'm too used to living here on Long Island.

I liked E.D. in for BOR this week.
If President Bush is part of a "crime family", why isn't the family in jail? If such a statement were true, charges would be pressed. If you have that proof, Aeris, perhaps you should press the charges yourself!

Speaking of Jane Fleming, I wish Hannity's America would bring back that segment with her and another lib, going against Sean and the Great One (Mark Levin, of course). Sure, it looked staged, and of course Hannity and Levin way outpowered the other two. But it was GREAT TV!
And Hannity had another segment on that program that was equally rabid. But now, the show is quite watered down - all the super conservative segments are gone.
Bring back the show the way it was when it began. And while they're at it, I wish the "Half Hour News Hour" was back as well. It would be great to have for the election.

You would think Fox News could afford to hire someone that could write some jokes. They hired nobody's for hosts, which didn't help, either. The first show was pretty good and it went down from there. Too bad.

Watching Fox and Friends,I am always astonished to see the women in short skirts with a camera aimed at their knees, waiting for the inevitable upskirt shot.
Why not pants suits?I would feel demeaned being put in the postion of those women.

In all the years of watching F&F I have never seen the "inevitable upskirt shot", so have I been watching at the wrong time or are you just making this up? I have seen a lot of nice legs on attractive women and will continue to enjoy the scenery and observations by bright attractive females. There is women on the political scene today that favors pants suits so you have another viewing option.

That is an old site and a reminder that the curvy couch hasn't been around that long. I do not pay attention to upskirt shots nor do I wait for them.
I do think Jane Fleming Kleeb (again, a reminder it's pronounced "Klehb") is attractive, but I'm well aware she's quite married. In fact, I think the one year anniversary is this month. By the way, I don't like Hot Air and will only go there if video is linked there and I can't get it anywhere else. I used to like the site, but then Michelle became the primary fill-in on "The Factor." And at the same time, the posters and commenters shared their hatred of BOR, yearning for him to retire and Michelle to take over the show. Plus, they consider anybody to the left of conservative right bad. But I digress...again.
Jake Tapper is an excellent reporter.
I try to like the "F&F" weekend crew, particularly Clayton, Dave, and to some extent Ainsley, but it's so hard. What apparently happened this morning made it even more difficult. But I guess they'll just have to be the weekend morning team that FNC viewers love to hate.

""Chesty McTalkingPoints"?Objectify much?"
It had nothing to to do with objectifying.. it had everything to do with mocking her and dismissing her as the no-idea partisan hack automaton that she appears to be so often.
There's nothign wrong with offering the opinion of the other side, but my God.. not the way she does it so often.
Typical hypothetical performance:
"Jane Fleming, why do you support aborition?"
"Sean, after 8 years of this horrible administration, of not protecting the American people, of taking the ball off of Afghanistan, of getting us stuck in Iraq, of cutting taxes, of not giving us Karl Rove's head on a platter.. the American people have had enough and the Democratic Party, like the Great Whore that we are, is ready to promise everything to Americans if they will just vote for us again.. because hey if you dont like how money the Federal Govt spends under Bush.. we agree .. it's never enough or too much!"
ok i made up the bit at the end.
but that's hwo she responds to everything.

You probably know more about Fox than I do.You stated that women on other networks can wear pants suits,as opposed to Fox where one can see" a lot of nice legs on attractive women".Is there a requirement that women on Fox wear skirts?I don't recall ever seeing pants suits on F&F.
But let's not be so literal minded. When I said" inevitable upskirt" shots,I was speaking of the inevitable, not history.Logically speaking, the F&F women, sooner or later, will forget themselves and we will get a "Sharon Stone" moment.
My point was that this could not happen to a women wearing a pants suit,or even better, behind a desk.I get the impression that this effect is intentional.I read an essay by no less a luminary than Andrei Condrescu (who?) who commented on this. And thus the question,is it mandatory that the women on the couch wear skirts. And another question that occurs to me,would Fox hire a women with bad legs?

Thanks for the advice , though please consider the following:
- Her boob size was never discussed... maybe that's what you're focusing on , perhaps? Otherwise , can you explain where you got this from?
- I didn't originate the name, so I feel like i'm under a Shoot the Messenger kind of an attack. My emotional state is becoming unstable. Please tell me why you are attacking me by using tactics like Guilt by Association.

"I didn't originate the name,"
I didn't originate "Chimp","Bush Crime Family",or "McInsane" either, but if I say "it cracks me up".I've got to at least take responsibility for it.
"That is an ignorant assertion,"
Then why do they have women in short skirts sitting on a couch? Why not allow the women to wear pants suits or sit behind a desk?Or even hire (God forbid) a women without shapely legs.
It's marketing, and sex sells. It annoys me on principal, but if you enjoy it,then go for it.But recognize it for what it is.
