Johnny$ - you MUST put up a link to Jon Stewart skewering Olbermann last night. Too funny.

You're right! There's a link to it in "The B-Word" article.
Hilarious!

That's the closest I'll come to linking to one of Stewart's 'comedy' bits.

I must say, the left has got it's collective thong in a huge wad over this latest Court ruling. They really must think that the voter are stupid(Well, a great deal of them are).
The court ruled that corporations can now run political ads. They kept in place the law that disallows them to contribute money directly to candidates.
Since corporations are very big on image, I don't think you'll see GE coming out with the crappy ads like the politicians do.
To hear Olbermann and Maddow speak on the issue last night you would think that the end is near.
And yes, Olbermann has a HUGE head.

Olby - the $100,000,000 million dollar man.
"This is the highest rated program in cable news not on Fox. The ratings are not poor."
Based on what I've seen this week in the ratings, you may want to change that to This is the highest rated program in cable news not on Fox, CNN, and some of HLN.

I just have to share this little gem from Adamincalifornia at the KO B-word link:
"adamincalifornia
KO has never come to terms with losing the pine wood derby when he was in Pack 321 (aka “The Countdown Pack”). He worked very hard on his car – he was the only one in his Pack who took the time to glue shiny sequins all over it and painted “Princess” on the side in glitter paint.
The first of many traumas he endured that day came when the judge told him that the car was too heavy with all of the sequins and glue, so he had to carve a chunk out of it. When his defiled car lost the first heat, young Keith told the judge that the nicest looking car should get a 2 second head start over the other cars. The judge (a Mister Frank Wurst, a well known local Republican who made a small fortune in the sausage industry) told Keith that “changing the rules after the race has started is wrong” to which young Keith replied “When the rules are wrong they must be changed!”
Keith did not get his extra 2 seconds that day and was eliminated in the first round of competition. He did not take it well – running home crying and never returning to “The Countdown Pack.” Over the years, Keith learned to positively channel his anger over that deeply traumatic and disturbing experience that he was mercilessly subjected to. He vowed that he would form his own countdown pack and expose people like Wurst.
Now that you know about the steep challenges that Keith has overcome, don’t you think the merciless cyber teasing directed at Mr. Olbermann is simply wrong? Can’t you see that this thread is an online Abu Grahib of humiliation? Can’t you be part of the solution rather than the problem?"

What will happen to Trace Gallagher?
Martha goes to the morning and that time slot will be used by Megan.1-3 pm, every day.
Sorry, my first time and don't know if I can talk about this here lol

Sure you can; anything about cable news coverage is welcome. They say Trace will be "absorbed" into other FNC programming. I think he'll land on his feet and get a prominent role. He's really very good at what he does.

FNC is simulcasting Los Angeles local Fox Broadcasting affiliate live footage of a dog that is in the Los Angeles River in the moving water. I love dogs and this is breaking my heart. Powerful stuff. What Shephard Smith is not saying, he probably doesn't know, is that there has been sporadic bursts of rain today in LA. The flood channel as it is right now is at a certain level of water. Depending on the rain amounts, the water level could increase FAST which would not be good for the dog.

Re: MSNBC's $100,000,000 moneymaker?!?
Oh, yeah... the only reason that Olbermann was allowed to stay on the air and the only thing keeping from being waterboarded at Gitmo, was McCain-Feingold.
This has to be one of the more illogical Daily Kos spiels from Olbermann.
WOuldn't Keith's vast monetary contributions be even MORE necessary now that Keith's corporate overlords can corrupt the entire political process via running issue ads that the infant sheep ignorant public is sure to swallow like the dumbbunny hicks that they are?

Let's see: After 4 days of heavy rain in Southern California, the sun is starting to come out, the dog was saved, MSNBC online is down 20% while FNC online is up 20%.
Did I mention this is turning out to be an excellent way to start the weekend?

There appears to be no ceiling on the FoxNews night time ratings with Obama as POTUS, the next three years will find Fox mining ratings gold. The Factor @ almost 5 million on Thursday night, get ready to adjust those rate cards as running ads on Fox will become more expensive. But then, you get what you pay for!

Just simply fantastic! That graph was clear and dead on. A classic example of how FNC was fair and balanced while CNN was not, and MSNBC was unfair and imbalanced. MSNBC is also deranged, but that's hard to show in a graph!

It's gotten to the point with David Shuster, that if I had to chose whether to sit in a train cabin with he or Olbermann, I'd choose Olberman.
Keith might be a narcissistic adolescent but at least it's not a adolescent GIRL narcissist.
I am so disgusted with the sneering elistism of this shrieking shrill fey little sissy boy Shuster.
What can you say about a guy who goes into spasms of prissy lip-pursing disapproval over a beauty pageant contestant's boob job? (when it's really her views that he hates...)
I'm sorry, I don't usually talk like this and I was raised in a household as the sole female among a father and two brothers who were intellectuals rather than jocks. (My brothers got all the brainy genes.)
However, little Lord David Shuster just makes me sick!
