I just realized what today is, BOR's appearance for the IHTAF is today.
The petition to keep BOR from speaking has died with barely a whimper having collected a measley 922 signatures.
Poor Alpha Mutt, Pegleg. This must be a sad day for her. She had such high hopes that "We're gonna git this suckah! ".
As hard as this is for Pegleg the real good guys in this, the foundation and those they help, ultimately prevailed. True poetic justice would be if the foundation collected more than they would have b/c of the donations from those who were appallled by the attacks on IHTAF just to embarass BOR.

Are the Friends guilty of not giving the whole Senator Grassley quote? Is this day 2 of the FNC editing outrages.
From what I saw on F&F this morning...The Grassly quote ended after he said "resign or go commit suicide." But thanks to CNBC I now know he went onto to say "And in the case of the Japanese, they usually commit suicide before they make any apology." Why was this part missing from the F&F coverage?
I also noticed when Americas news room were talking about Gary Skoien being attacked by his wife after she found him with 2 prostitutes. Why was there absolutely no mention of Mr. Skoien being the former GOP Chairman in Illinois...I wonder why that was? I suspect if this had been a Democrat that info would've been made crystal clear from the outset.

Some people say a God created all things...I personally don't subscribe to this theory....But for this question I'll go along with it. If I've got this right....God created a fully functioning Adam & Eve straight off the bat...So as he needed no birthing procedures to create them...I suggest he simply made a couple of chickens the same way...Then after that God created an egg...The 2 chickens got frisky....and the rest is history.

I don't need to contact NH as to why I was banned. I explained the reason in my post. I didn't mention it to complain, but to make a comparrison, one so obvious that even you couldn't miss, between the the boss at NH and the boss at J$P and a less obvious comparrison between your comments and truthful, relevant, credible comments made in good faith. I used good faith at the top so I could tie it to you being unrepentant at the bottom.
I don't need to ask Johnny why he allow you to post here. It's obvious for anyone who has eyes to see. Again, I was making a comparrison.

Maybe this is how it happened. Junior intern accidentally finds Biden campaign tape in his hands. Junior intern then accidentally edits Biden tape to only show "the fundamentals of the economy are sound" part. Junior intern then accidentally edits this part into a tape of stuff that was said on the previous Sunday. Junior intern then accidentally passes it on for airing. Quality control then completely miss the error and air it. Admit it folks, that just didn't happen. I'd say some editor looked at the tape they had and thought no one really knows these folk, so lets spice it up with someone they do know, Biden. This has probably been done before and no one notice. But thankfully now there are many sharp eyes.

We did enjoy his company as Bababooey. Of course we all thought he was a woman, which upset the heck out of him, but otherwise, I think he had a good time.
It's clear the poor kid has gender identity issues and needs all support he can get.
It's not a bad idea to go give him a shout-out. Let him know we care and that we're here if he wants to talk.

In the David Shuster vs. Erickson skirmish.
It's important to note that Shuster wants Erickson to reveal his (Erickson's) sources because they "burned him" with bad information.
This is the same Shuster who for 3 months kept reporting that his "sources" told him that Rove was going to be indicted in the Fitzgerald investigation.
Shouldn't Shuster tell us his sources since they "burned" him. And his story is far more important than what a blogger claims on the internet.

Well, I'm not so sure that you should call Pegleg Peggy's post "an angry tirade", Vstol.
Peggy is an advocate for rape victims and resents what she considers to be sexist treatment of a rape victim by Bill O'Reilly.
We may think that it's reasonable that O'Reilly would express frustration and horror at the fact that an intoxicated young woman decided to leave her car and seek help in the middle of the night, while dressed in club gear sure to attract attention on the street, but Peggy views this as blaming the victim.
I'm sure she feels that O'Reilly was not expressing horrified regret, but calling attention to a woman's sexuality in the course of a violence crime. Such a thing, if intended, is superfluous and hideously sexist and demeaning to women in general.
Logically that concept would most certainly extend to any sort of sexist gender-based pronouncements, such as the ones that we see directed towards women on blog boards.
With these sorts of sexist insults the intent is not to rebut the opinions or tastes of a female opponent, it is to level sexually charged epithets that render women as sexual objects (tramps, sluts, etc) and to call attention to their sexuality above all other aspects of their individuality.
An example of such behavior would be to insult women by suggesting that cordial alliances stemming from mutual intellectual admiration are sexual liaisons where the female sex object is asking for it. That this sexualized object had intentionally put herself at the mercy of a man in order to be sexually subjugated.
That is tactic meant to demean females, rape vicims or not.
Peggy would certainly have none of that. Her sense of logic and her consciousness of women's issues is far too enlightened for that anti-intellectual and neanderthal mentality.
You may not agree with Peggy, but you must believe that her motives do not stem merely from a desire to humiliate a political opponent at all cost (in this case-- talking head Bill O'Reilly).
No, her work has been to combat the mentality I describe, a mentality that has served to victimize women in genral and to further victimize rape victims.
By all means, read Peggy's posts and just see just how seriously she holds to those principles she expounds.
