I'm sure everyone here remembers the FNC special with E.D., "Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West". I just got the DVD in the mail for free, not the version with E.D. but the full movie. I checked out The Clarion Fund's website and they're sending out 28 million DVDs across the US (and CAIR is suing them for it).
Good for The Clarion Fund for informing the public, and shame on CAIR for stifling free speech that exposes the threat of terrorism.

Obsession is such a critically important film to understand the depth scale and scope of our declared enemy.
This war is going to last for a long time and will be very brutal.

Well, if it is. Would that not be poetic justice in a 'future shock' form?

Absolutely right VinceP, and if anyone here would like me to snail mail my copy they can email johnny who could let me know. I'd spare the 42 cents.
Did anyone catch the Huckabee show tonight? My DVR recorded it because it thought it was a rerun of BOR. Decent show, minus the band at the end.

I have no doubt, KeithO, that he will return as Mark or another incarnation.
As best as I can tell he is driven, for whatever unfathomable reason, to be a nasty spoke in the wheel of any site that is not favorable to KO, especially if R Cox or J$ are involved.
I don't find his comments interesting but rather dull, pompous and long winded interspersed with unnecessary personal barbs.
That's just my opinion.

Mark has been here, but he has been unable to get in the door. His personal attacks on me are part of the problem. He knows he has the key to open the door and enter, but refuses to use it. Until he does you won't see him under any incarnation.

Johnny, I think the very best thing you could do is to leave Clucker with his pride by not ever accepting any sort of apology from him.
If he made one now it would just seem as though he was caving in and that's not what's best for him and that's not what you want.
In order to truly do the right thing, Johnny, you must save Clucker from himself, by locking the door and throwing away the key.
Be strong enough to leave him with his pride. Leave him with his dignity.
On behalf of all that's good in the world...Johnny, please give him the tough love that he so desperately needs...

nvh made some claims against Johnny and Fox News. Lies. Johnny asked for proof several times to no avail. nvh was given an ultimatum to come up with proof and was banned until said proof was offered. Needless to say,no proof of nvh's claims against Johnny or Fox News have been given. To the best of my recollection, that is.

Grammie, OS is talking about the charges Mark and nvh made on J$ claiming he was a "right winger". Each time is was brought up, johnny asked them to post just one example, but nobody could ever provide.
KeithO, if you click on the enlarge map link it tells you the location information. It did used to do it on the small map, but usually it only showed a few letters due to space restraints.

Cecelia, if Flucker is banned here I fear he would retreat to his media room and drive his faithful family retainers mad.
Have you no pity for his cordon bleu chef who will be overwhelmed with orders for haute cuisine. For his somnelier who will be forced to ravage the wine cellar to pair wine and cuisine perfectly? All that in a futile attempt to assuage Flucker's grief as he contemplates Poe's "nevermore" from the very personal vantagepoint of his crushing loss of J$?

To be more precise, part of the far right wing 'fringe'. And OS has it right. That was the deal with nvh, although his rampant name-calling (beyond the 'right wing fringe' stuff) only added gasoline to the fire. Like OTM, nvh could not or would not document the 'truth' of his attacks or, in the alternative, take them back.

There are a couple of links on it in the main post. I saw it and thought it wasn't bad for a first try. I didn't care much for the interview with Elizabeth, but that's because I don't care much about Elizabeth. But the opening commentary was fine, Q&A from the audience a good idea, and the best part was probably the financial segments.

I was raised with a father and two brothers. I married a male... I've had uncles and many many in-laws, and friends and co-workers who are male...
So far I've managed at least several decades to never encounter one male who talked to women as Mark and a few of his company talked to them/us on Ow.
You've not got a lot to live up to where Mark is concerned, vstol. I'd say your odds of doing it are very good.

Here is how that would go, OS. Pro-MSNBC folks would say that it's different because FNC claims to be fair and balanced while MSNBC makes no such claim. Pro-FNC folks would retort asking what kind of half-assed operation calling itself a "news" outlet isn't fair. Much arguing would ensue and FNC would come out the loser just because Markos Moulitsas says so.
I've been doing this for too long...

Well, the ad is still up? No surprise here. Unless somebody at FNC says anything that ad will just stay up and running. All the ad does is stir the ( I hate to say it) sheep that watch MSLSD, and think FNC is the work of the devil.
If you all will indulge me. There has been an AP video that has been running around all weekend on our local channel called. ' Raw Video: Palin saved from 'Witchcraft'. WOW! pretty scary huh? And it's an AP video right? Seems it comes from a site called irregulartimes.com
Don't take my word, see for you're self
http://www.wnep.com/
It's below the video player in the little block with rolling videos. Right after the ' Evangelist Arrested In Child Porn Probe'. Hummmmm, do you think somebody placed those two videos next to each other to make the perception that maybe, ALL CHURCH PEOPLE ARE MAD, STRANGE, WIERDOWS?
Nah! It can't be.
Then again Orson Wells pulled it off once on October 30 1938.
Maybe, irregulartimes, AP, Obama, voteforchange and Olby think they can do it too. Something tells me you are going to see a lot of these, between now and Election Day.

In case anyone's interested, our pal Mark has spoken. I emailed him and explained that if he wanted to post here, he either had to document and back up the things he said about me, or take them back. Here is Mark's classy response:
"I sent an e-mail to you a few moments ago, when I learned I had been banned and discovered that you felt it somehow felt it appropriate to openly trash someone while denying them a response. Real class, there. To your specific points herein, you are really one insecure, petty twerp, aren't you? Not to worry. It wears well with your extreme right wing philosophy.
To you and to Mr. Ailes, I bet [sic] a short, overdue, adieu."

You betcha. Glad and proud to admit it, too!!
So there.
All FNC does is dare to be different from the others by giving us the *facts* and lets us decide what to think, unlike the "Big 3" networks who give us THIER oftentimes twisted (i.e. left-leaning) version of the news and tries to tell us what we should think. Like FNC says, "We report, you decide." It's refreshing, and I wouldn't (and don't) get my news from anyone else anymore.

Okay I see I need to dumb it down for you. Johnny the fact that you run a site dedicated to telling the "truth" about Fox News when everyone including the people who work at Fox know that it's obviously in the bag for republicans. People say it's not Fair and Balanced and you attempt to prove it is. Only the true believers buy it. How many republicans have you banned from this site? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
You prove every day you are a repub tool. Everything you do proves it. Just reply and prove it again.

OK now you've made more personal attacks on me. Definitely a rules violation. Yet you have not presented one iota of evidence. I asked you to quote my words and you haven't. You keep imputing politics to me without even documenting one issue that you can quote me on to back up your statement. I'm not interested in your argument about what 'everybody knows' because that's not proof. Proof is your quoting my words expressing 'republican' issue opinions. And you haven't done that.
I must ask you to either back up what you say, or take it back.
PS: You are correct; this site does tell the truth about Fox News. That differentiates it from the newshounds who have been proven to have told hundreds of lies about Fox, and are still doing so to this day. I find it oddly amusing that you cite telling the truth as 'proof' that I must be a Republican.
PPS: I don't count people who are 'banned' (actually nobody is banned; anybody who obeys the rules may post) based on what party they belong to. In fact I have no way of knowing. But there are people (you are about to join their august group) who insist on attacking me personally and cannot document what they say. Even these people are not banned, if they either 1. prove what they say is true, or B. take it back and apologize. The key to regaining access to these comments is not held by me; it is held by them.
Thank you for your comment. As with the others, you hold the key.

I am a moderate, although I consider myself a fiscal conservative. I hold some socially democratic values and some socially conservative values.
Nothing is perfect. Fox News can't ever be 100% fair and balanced in everyone's mind. Fox News IS the most fair and balanced news network on TV; the ratings, statistics, political demographics, and years of watching numerous news outlets prove it.
