Who knew the word "romance" came from the word "Roman"?

I enjoyed wordsmith Marina!

The whole segment with the graphics was really cute!

It's a fascinating topic and I'm going to check out her site.

Happy St. Valentine's Day, everyone!

OS...I think you've more worries closer to home.

"News Corp., the global media giant controlled by Rupert Murdoch, said Thursday it lost $6.4 billion in its most recent quarter"

"Worries grow that Peter Chernin won't stay on as Rupert Murdoch's No. 2"

Fears about weak subscriber growth at BSkyB sent investors rushing to exit the satellite broadcaster yesterday leaving its shares 15.25p lower at 485.75p.

OS....Your coming the chump again here...BSkyB is owned by News Corp. Why would you want to see your favourite company do badly?

I'd rather talk about Marina, after all it is Valentines Day! She knows her stuff re word origins. O'Rielly is stacking the back end of the week with her on Friday and the Ingraham/Kelly duo on Thursday. Looks like he plans on staying #1 for a few more years! MSNBC counters with Maddow, no wonder they are headed south, fast!

haggy, I see you missed my several posts debunking your "fox news can't sell ads." You can fool newshounds all of the time, but, you can never fool OS. Words of wisdom.

In the US we do believe in "innocent until proven guilty

I'll try posting this here as it's probably off topic in the other thread.

So from reading that statement...You also must be outraged at Riviera and his comments on the Factor about Drew Peterson the other night....calling him a murderer....But no post here rebuking Riviera over his outburst....As you say "innocent until proven guilty"

I did write a post on this the other night....but it never appeared...will this one?

Unfortunately, yes.

Mr Rivera has studied the case, read the police reports, the witness interviews, etc. He is in a position to make his conclusion based on knowledge...that is if I even believe you are quoting him correctly, which is not one of your strong suits. OTOH, settled lawsuits are designed to keep the facts from the public, so drawing conclusions from settlements means someone is working out of ignorance...the exact opposite of the Rivera case. That seems pretty clear to me.

What are the police missing then?..They haven't even charged him. If you go on what Rivera says he should be on death row...I think he's just forming his opinions through hate...about some interview if I remember rightly.
Right time to get the new motor on the dish tuned into Fox  for the Daytona 500.

No. It was another of your attempted smear jobs against Fox News/Murdoch. An outright lie aka as "hagspeak."

Well that was a bit of a wet blanket of a finish....Matt Kenseth wins. I think America's #1 sport needs to re-think how they do things....Haven't they heard of wet weather tyres...Over here in Europe we'd plough on regardless of a little rain.

Really? Right now, there's nobody logged in from Europe. There is someone off the coast of Nigeria, though. Can't you even keep track of your proxies?
